★マルコによる福音(9:2-10)

9:2
　六日の後、イエスは、ただペテロ、ヤコブ、ヨハネだけを連れて、高い山に登られた。ところが、彼らの目の前でイエスの姿が変り、

9:3
　その衣は真白く輝き、どんな布さらしでも、それほどに白くすることはできないくらいになった。

9:4
　すると、エリヤがモーセと共に彼らに現れて、イエスと語り合っていた。

9:5
　ペテロはイエスにむかって言った、「先生、わたしたちがここにいるのは、すばらしいことです。それで、わたしたちは小屋を三つ建てましょう。一つはあなたのために、一つはモーセのために、一つはエリヤのために」。

9:6
　そう言ったのは、みんなの者が非常に恐れていたので、ペテロは何を言ってよいか、わからなかったからである。

9:7
　すると、雲がわき起って彼らをおおった。そして、その雲の中から声があった、「これはわたしの愛する子である。これに聞け」。

9:8
　彼らは急いで見まわしたが、もはやだれも見えず、ただイエスだけが、自分たちと一緒におられた。

9:9
　一同が山を下って来るとき、イエスは「人の子が死人の中からよみがえるまでは、いま見たことをだれにも話してはならない」と、彼らに命じられた。

9:10
　彼らはこの言葉を心にとめ、死人の中からよみがえるとはどういうことかと、互に論じ合った。


★創世記(22:1-2、9-13、15-18)

22:1
　これらの事の後、神はアブラハムを試みて彼に言われた、「アブラハムよ」。彼は言った、「ここにおります」。

22:2
　神は言われた、「あなたの子、あなたの愛するひとり子イサクを連れてモリヤの地に行き、わたしが示す山で彼を燔祭としてささげなさい」。

22:9
　彼らが神の示された場所にきたとき、

アブラハムはそこに祭壇を築き、たきぎを並べ、その子イサクを縛って祭壇のたきぎの上に載せた。

22:10
　そしてアブラハムが手を差し伸べ、刃物を執ってその子を殺そうとした時、

22:11
　主の使が天から彼を呼んで言った、「アブラハムよ、アブラハムよ」。彼は答えた、「はい、ここにおります」。

22:12
　み使が言った、「わらべを手にかけてはならない。また何も彼にしてはならない。あなたの子、あなたのひとり子をさえ、わたしのために惜しまないので、あなたが神を恐れる者であることをわたしは今知った」。

22:13
　この時アブラハムが目をあげて見ると、うしろに、角をやぶに掛けている一頭の雄羊がいた。アブラハムは行ってその雄羊を捕え、それをその子のかわりに燔祭としてささげた。

22:15
　主の使は再び天からアブラハムを呼んで、

22:16
　言った、「主は言われた、『わたしは自分をさして誓う。あなたがこの事をし、あなたの子、あなたのひとり子をも惜しまなかったので、

22:17
　わたしは大いにあなたを祝福し、大いにあなたの子孫をふやして、天の星のように、浜べの砂のようにする。あなたの子孫は敵の門を打ち取り、

22:18
　また地のもろもろの国民はあなたの子孫によって祝福を得るであろう。あなたがわたしの言葉に従ったからである』」。


★Psalm:詩篇(116:10,15-19)

116:10
　「わたしは大いに悩んだ」と言った時にもなお信じた。

116:15
　主の聖徒の死はそのみ前において尊い。

116:16
　主よ、わたしはあなたのしもべです。わたしはあなたのしもべ、あなたのはしための子です。あなたはわたしのなわめを解かれました。

116:17
　わたしは感謝のいけにえをあなたにささげて、主のみ名を呼びます。

116:18
　わたしはすべての民の前で主にわが誓いをつぐないます。

116:19
　エルサレムよ、あなたの中で、主の家の大庭の中で、これをつぐないます。主をほめたたえよ。


★ローマ人への手紙(8:31b-34)

8:31b
　もし、神がわたしたちの味方であるなら、だれがわたしたちに敵し得ようか。

8:32
　ご自身の御子をさえ惜しまないで、わたしたちすべての者のために死に渡されたかたが、どうして、御子のみならず万物をも賜わらないことがあろうか。

8:33
　だれが、神の選ばれた者たちを訴えるのか。神は彼らを義とされるのである。

8:34
　だれが、わたしたちを罪に定めるのか。キリスト・イエスは、死んで、否、よみがえって、神の右に座し、また、わたしたちのためにとりなして下さるのである。

◆今日の読書：出エジプト記(13:17-14:9)

13:17
　さて、パロが民を去らせた時、ペリシテびとの国の道は近かったが、神は彼らをそれに導かれなかった。民が戦いを見れば悔いてエジプトに帰るであろうと、神は思われたからである。

13:18
　神は紅海に沿う荒野の道に、民を回らされた。イスラエルの人々は武装してエジプトの国を出て、上った。

13:19
　そのときモーセはヨセフの遺骸を携えていた。ヨセフが、「神は必ずあなたがたを顧みられるであろう。そのとき、あなたがたは、わたしの遺骸を携えて、ここから上って行かなければならない」と言って、イスラエルの人々に固く誓わせたからである。

13:20
　こうして彼らは更にスコテから進んで、荒野の端にあるエタムに宿営した。

13:21
　主は彼らの前に行かれ、昼は雲の柱をもって彼らを導き、夜は火の柱をもって彼らを照し、昼も夜も彼らを進み行かせられた。

13:22
　昼は雲の柱、夜は火の柱が、民の前から離れなかった。

14:1
　主はモーセに言われた、

14:2
　「イスラエルの人々に告げ、引き返して、ミグドルと海との間にあるピハヒロテの前、バアルゼポンの前に宿営させなさい。あなたがたはそれにむかって、海のかたわらに宿営しなければならない。

14:3
　パロはイスラエルの人々について、『彼らはその地で迷っている。荒野は彼らを閉じ込めてしまった』と言うであろう。

14:4
　わたしがパロの心をかたくなにするから、パロは彼らのあとを追うであろう。わたしはパロとそのすべての軍勢を破って誉を得、エジプトびとにわたしが主であることを知らせるであろう」。彼らはそのようにした。

14:5
　民の逃げ去ったことが、エジプトの王に伝えられたので、パロとその家来たちとは、民に対する考えを変えて言った、「われわれはなぜこのようにイスラエルを去らせて、われわれに仕えさせないようにしたのであろう」。

14:6
　それでパロは戦車を整え、みずからその民を率い、

14:7
　また、えり抜きの戦車六百と、エジプトのすべての戦車およびすべての指揮者たちを率いた。

14:8
　主がエジプトの王パロの心をかたくなにされたので、彼はイスラエルの人々のあとを追った。イスラエルの人々は意気揚々と出たのである。

14:9
　エジプトびとは彼らのあとを追い、パロのすべての馬と戦車およびその騎兵と軍勢とは、バアルゼポンの前にあるピハヒロテのあたりで、海のかたわらに宿営している彼らに追いついた。

+ First Reading: Genesis 22:1-2, 9-13, 15-18

1 It happened after these things, that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”
He said, “Here I am.”

2 He said, “Now take your son, your only son, whom you love, even Isaac, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there for a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.”

9 They came to the place which God had told him of. Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, on the wood.

10 Abraham stretched out his hand, and took the knife to kill his son.

11 The angel of Yahweh called to him out of the sky, and said, “Abraham, Abraham!”
He said, “Here I am.”

12 He said, “Don’t lay your hand on the boy, neither do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.”

13 Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and saw that behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

15 The angel of Yahweh called to Abraham a second time out of the sky,

16 and said, “I have sworn by myself, says Yahweh, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son,

17 that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your seed greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your seed will possess the gate of his enemies.

18 In your seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

10 I believed, therefore I said,
“I was greatly afflicted.”

15 Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his saints.

16 Yahweh, truly I am your servant.
I am your servant, the son of your handmaid.
You have freed me from my chains.

17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and will call on the name of Yahweh.

18 I will pay my vows to Yahweh,
yes, in the presence of all his people,

19 in the courts of Yahweh’s house,
in the midst of you, Jerusalem.

31b If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

33 Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

+ Gospel: Mark 9:2-10

2 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.

3 His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. 4 Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.

5 Peter answered Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

6 For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid.

7 A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”

8 Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only.

9 As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

10 They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.

+ Today's Reading: 出エジプト記(13:17-14:9)

13:17 It happened, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God didn’t lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and they return to Egypt”;

18 but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea*; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the children of Israel swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you.”

20 They took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

21 Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:

22 the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, didn’t depart from before the people.

14:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn back and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal Zephon. You shall encamp opposite it by the sea.

3 Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, ‘They are entangled in the land. The wilderness has shut them in.’

4 I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will follow after them; and I will get honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies; and the Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh.” They did so.

5 It was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled; and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was changed towards the people, and they said, “What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?”

6 He prepared his chariot, and took his army with him;

7 and he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over all of them.

8 Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel; for the children of Israel went out with a high hand.

9 The Egyptians pursued after them: all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen, and his army; and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baal Zephon.
