★ルカによる福音(4:24-30)

4:24
　それから言われた、「よく言っておく。預言者は、自分の郷里では歓迎されないものである。

4:25
　よく聞いておきなさい。エリヤの時代に、三年六か月にわたって天が閉じ、イスラエル全土に大ききんがあった際、そこには多くのやもめがいたのに、

4:26
　エリヤはそのうちのだれにもつかわされないで、ただシドンのサレプタにいるひとりのやもめにだけつかわされた。

4:27
　また預言者エリシャの時代に、イスラエルには多くのらい病人がいたのに、そのうちのひとりもきよめられないで、ただシリヤのナアマンだけがきよめられた」。

4:28
　会堂にいた者たちはこれを聞いて、みな憤りに満ち、

4:29
　立ち上がってイエスを町の外へ追い出し、その町が建っている丘のがけまでひっぱって行って、突き落そうとした。

4:30
　しかし、イエスは彼らのまん中を通り抜けて、去って行かれた。

★列王紀下(5:1-15a)

5:1
　スリヤ王の軍勢の長ナアマンはその主君に重んじられた有力な人であった。主がかつて彼を用いてスリヤに勝利を得させられたからである。彼は大勇士であったが、らい病をわずらっていた。

5:2
　さきにスリヤびとが略奪隊を組んで出てきたとき、イスラエルの地からひとりの少女を捕えて行った。彼女はナアマンの妻に仕えたが、

5:3
　その女主人にむかって、「ああ、御主人がサマリヤにいる預言者と共におられたらよかったでしょうに。彼はそのらい病をいやしたことでしょう」と言ったので、

5:4
　ナアマンは行って、その主君に、「イスラエルの地からきた娘がこういう事を言いました」と告げると、

5:5
　スリヤ王は言った、「それでは行きなさい。わたしはイスラエルの王に手紙を書きましょう」。そこで彼は銀十タラントと、金六千シケルと、晴れ着十着を携えて行った。

5:6
　彼がイスラエルの王に持って行った手紙には、「この手紙があなたにとどいたならば、わたしの家来ナアマンを、あなたにつかわしたことと御承知ください。あなたに彼のらい病をいやしていただくためです」とあった。

5:7
　イスラエルの王はその手紙を読んだ時、衣を裂いて言った、「わたしは殺したり、生かしたりすることのできる神であろうか。どうしてこの人は、らい病人をわたしにつかわして、それをいやせと言うのか。あなたがたは、彼がわたしに争いをしかけているのを知って警戒するがよい」。

5:8
　神の人エリシャは、イスラエルの王がその衣を裂いたことを聞き、王に人をつかわして言った、「どうしてあなたは衣を裂いたのですか。彼をわたしのもとにこさせなさい。そうすれば彼はイスラエルに預言者のあることを知るようになるでしょう」。

5:9
　そこでナアマンは馬と車とを従えてきて、エリシャの家の入口に立った。

5:10
　するとエリシャは彼に使者をつかわして言った、「あなたはヨルダンへ行って七たび身を洗いなさい。そうすれば、あなたの肉はもとにかえって清くなるでしょう」。

5:11
　しかしナアマンは怒って去り、そして言った、「わたしは、彼がきっとわたしのもとに出てきて立ち、その神、主の名を呼んで、その箇所の上に手を動かして、らい病をいやすのだろうと思った。

5:12
　ダマスコの川アバナとパルパルはイスラエルのすべての川水にまさるではないか。わたしはこれらの川に身を洗って清まることができないのであろうか」。こうして彼は身をめぐらし、怒って去った。

5:13
　その時、しもべたちは彼に近よって言った、「わが父よ、預言者があなたに、何か大きな事をせよと命じても、あなたはそれをなさらなかったでしょうか。まして彼はあなたに『身を洗って清くなれ』と言うだけではありませんか」。

5:14
　そこでナアマンは下って行って、神の人の言葉のように七たびヨルダンに身を浸すと、その肉がもとにかえって幼な子の肉のようになり、清くなった。

5:15a
　彼はすべての従者を連れて神の人のもとに帰ってきて、その前に立って言った、「わたしは今、イスラエルのほか、全地のどこにも神のおられないことを知りました。

42:1
　神よ、しかが谷川を慕いあえぐように、わが魂もあなたを慕いあえぐ。

42:2
　わが魂はかわいているように神を慕い、いける神を慕う。いつ、わたしは行って神のみ顔を見ることができるだろうか。

43:3
　あなたの光とまこととを送ってわたしを導き、あなたの聖なる山と、あなたの住まわれる所にわたしをいたらせてください。

43:4
　その時わたしは神の祭壇へ行き、わたしの大きな喜びである神へ行きます。神よ、わが神よ、わたしは琴をもってあなたをほめたたえます。


◆今日の読書：出エジプト記(24:1-18)

24:1
　また、モーセに言われた、「あなたはアロン、ナダブ、アビウおよびイスラエルの七十人の長老たちと共に、主のもとにのぼってきなさい。そしてあなたがたは遠く離れて礼拝しなさい。

24:2
　ただモーセひとりが主に近づき、他の者は近づいてはならない。また、民も彼と共にのぼってはならない」。

24:3
　モーセはきて、主のすべての言葉と、すべてのおきてとを民に告げた。民はみな同音に答えて言った、「わたしたちは主の仰せられた言葉を皆、行います」。

24:4
　そしてモーセは主の言葉を、ことごとく書きしるし、朝はやく起きて山のふもとに祭壇を築き、イスラエルの十二部族に従って十二の柱を建て、

24:5
　イスラエルの人々のうちの若者たちをつかわして、主に燔祭をささげさせ、また酬恩祭として雄牛をささげさせた。

24:6
　その時モーセはその血の半ばを取って、鉢に入れ、また、その血の半ばを祭壇に注ぎかけた。

24:7
　そして契約の書を取って、これを民に読み聞かせた。すると、彼らは答えて言った、「わたしたちは主が仰せられたことを皆、従順に行います」。

24:8
　そこでモーセはその血を取って、民に注ぎかけ、そして言った、「見よ、これは主がこれらのすべての言葉に基いて、あなたがたと結ばれる契約の血である」。

24:9
　こうしてモーセはアロン、ナダブ、アビウおよびイスラエルの七十人の長老たちと共にのぼって行った。

24:10
　そして、彼らがイスラエルの神を見ると、その足の下にはサファイアの敷石のごとき物があり、澄み渡るおおぞらのようであった。

24:11
　神はイスラエルの人々の指導者たちを手にかけられなかったので、彼らは神を見て、飲み食いした。

24:12
　ときに主はモーセに言われた、「山に登り、わたしの所にきて、そこにいなさい。彼らを教えるために、わたしが律法と戒めとを書きしるした石の板をあなたに授けるであろう」。

24:13
　そこでモーセは従者ヨシュアと共に立ちあがり、モーセは神の山に登った。

24:14
　彼は長老たちに言った、「わたしたちがあなたがたの所に帰って来るまで、ここで待っていなさい。見よ、アロンとホルとが、あなたがたと共にいるから、事ある者は、だれでも彼らの所へ行きなさい」。

24:15
　こうしてモーセは山に登ったが、雲は山をおおっていた。

24:16
　主の栄光がシナイ山の上にとどまり、雲は六日のあいだ、山をおおっていたが、七日目に主は雲の中からモーセを呼ばれた。

24:17
　主の栄光は山の頂で、燃える火のようにイスラエルの人々の目に見えたが、

24:18
　モーセは雲の中にはいって、山に登った。そしてモーセは四十日四十夜、山にいた。

+ First Reading: 2 Kings 5:1-15ab

1 Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him Yahweh had given victory to Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

2 The Syrians had gone out in bands, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maiden; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.

3 She said to her mistress, “I wish that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would heal him of his leprosy.”

4 Someone went in, and told his lord, saying, “The maiden who is from the land of Israel said this.”

5 The king of Syria said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.”
He departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

6 He brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, “Now when this letter has come to you, behold, I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy.”

7 It happened, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he tore his clothes, and said, “Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to heal a man of his leprosy? But please consider and see how he seeks a quarrel against me.”

8 It was so, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.”

9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariots, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

10 Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall come again to you, and you shall be clean.”

11 But Naaman was angry, and went away, and said, “Behold, I thought, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Yahweh his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leper.’

12 Aren’t Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them, and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.

13 His servants came near, and spoke to him, and said, “My father, if the prophet had asked you do some great thing, wouldn’t you have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean?’”

14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

15ab He returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him; and he said, “See now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel.

+ Gospel: Luke 4:24-30

24 He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

25 But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.

26 Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

27 There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”

28 They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things.

29 They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.

30 But he, passing through their midst, went his way.

+ Today's Reading: Exodus 24:1-18

1 He said to Moses, “Come up to Yahweh, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship from a distance.

2 Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him.”

3 Moses came and told the people all the words of Yahweh, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which Yahweh has spoken will we do.”

4 Moses wrote all the words of Yahweh, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

5 He sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Yahweh.

6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7 He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “All that Yahweh has spoken will we do, and be obedient.”

8 Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.”

9 Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up.

10 They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire *or, lapis lazuli stone, like the skies for clearness.

11 He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel. They saw God, and ate and drank.

12 Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the tables of stone with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

13 Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God’s Mountain.

14 He said to the elders, “Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”

15 Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

16 The glory of Yahweh settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17 The appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18 Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
