12:28b
　「すべてのいましめの中で、どれが第一のものですか」。

12:29
　イエスは答えられた、「第一のいましめはこれである、『イスラエルよ、聞け。主なるわたしたちの神は、ただひとりの主である。

12:30
　心をつくし、精神をつくし、思いをつくし、力をつくして、主なるあなたの神を愛せよ』。

12:31
　第二はこれである、『自分を愛するようにあなたの隣り人を愛せよ』。これより大事ないましめは、ほかにない」。

12:32
　そこで、この律法学者はイエスに言った、「先生、仰せのとおりです、『神はひとりであって、そのほかに神はない』と言われたのは、ほんとうです。

12:33
　また『心をつくし、知恵をつくし、力をつくして神を愛し、また自分を愛するように隣り人を愛する』ということは、すべての燔祭や犠牲よりも、はるかに大事なことです」。

12:34
　イエスは、彼が適切な答をしたのを見て言われた、「あなたは神の国から遠くない」。それから後は、イエスにあえて問う者はなかった。

★ホセア書(14:1-9)

14:1
　イスラエルよ、あなたの神、主に帰れ。あなたは自分の不義によって、つまずいたからだ。

14:2
　あなたがたは言葉を携えて、主に帰って言え、「不義はことごとくゆるして、よきものを受けいれてください。わたしたちは自分のくちびるの実をささげます。

14:3
　アッスリヤはわたしたちを助けず、わたしたちは馬に乗りません。わたしたちはもはや自分たちの手のわざに向かって『われわれの神』とは言いません。みなしごはあなたによって、あわれみを得るでしょう」。

14:4
　わたしは彼らのそむきをいやし、喜んでこれを愛する。わたしの怒りは彼らを離れ去ったからである。

14:5
　わたしはイスラエルに対しては露のようになる。彼はゆりのように花咲き、ポプラのように根を張り、

14:6
　その枝は茂りひろがり、その麗しさはオリブの木のように、そのかんばしさはレバノンのようになる。

14:7
　彼らは帰って来て、わが陰に住み、園のように栄え、ぶどうの木のように花咲き、そのかんばしさはレバノンの酒のようになる。

14:8
　エフライムよ、わたしは偶像となんの係わりがあろうか。あなたに答え、あなたを顧みる者はわたしである。わたしは緑のいとすぎのようだ。あなたはわたしから実を得る。

14:9
　知恵のある者はだれか。その人にこれらのことを悟らせよ。悟りある者はだれか。その人にこれらのことを知らせよ。主の道は直く、正しき者はこれを歩む。しかし罪びとはこれにつまずく。

　わたしはかしこでまだ知らなかった言葉を聞いた、

　「わたしはあなたの肩から重荷をのぞき、あなたの手をかごから免れさせた。

　あなたが悩んだとき、呼ばわったのでわたしはあなたを救った。わたしは雷の隠れた所で、あなたに答え、メリバの水のほとりで、あなたを試みた。

　工夫を凝らして金、銀、青銅の細工をさせ、

　また宝石を切りはめ、木を彫刻するなど、諸種の工作をさせ、

　また人を教えうる力を、彼の心に授けられた。彼とダンの部族に属するアヒサマクの子アホリアブとが、それである。

35:35
　主は彼らに知恵の心を満たして、諸種の工作をさせられた。すなわち彫刻、浮き織および青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻糸の縫取り、また機織など諸種の工作をさせ、工夫を凝らして巧みなわざをさせられた。

　ベザレルとアホリアブおよびすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち主が知恵と悟りとを授けて、聖所の組立ての諸種の工事を、いかになすかを知らせられた者は、すべて主が命じられたようにしなければならない」。

　ベザレルはアカシヤ材の箱を造った。長さは二キュビト半、幅は一キュビト半、高さは一キュビト半である。

　純金で、内そとをおおい、その周囲に金の飾り縁を造った。

37:3
　また金の環四つを鋳て、その四すみに取りつけた。すなわち二つの環をこちら側に、二つの環をあちら側に取りつけた。

37:4
　またアカシヤ材のさおを造り、金でこれをおおい、

37:5
　そのさおを箱の側面の環に通して、箱をかつぐようにした。

37:6
　また純金で贖罪所を造った。長さは二キュビト半、幅は一キュビト半である。

37:7
　また金で、二つのケルビムを造った。すなわち、これを打物造りとし、贖罪所の両端に置いた。

37:8
　一つのケルブをこの端に、一つのケルブをかの端に置いた。すなわちケルビムを贖罪所の一部として、その両端に造った。

37:9
　ケルビムは翼を高く伸べ、その翼で贖罪所をおおい、顔は互に向かい合った。すなわちケルビムの顔は贖罪所に向かっていた。

+ First Reading: Hosea 14:1-9

1 Israel, return to Yahweh your God;
for you have fallen because of your sin.

2 Take words with you, and return to Yahweh.
Tell him, “Forgive all our sins,
and accept that which is good:
so we offer our lips like bulls.

3 Assyria can’t save us.
We won’t ride on horses;
neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’
for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”

4 “I will heal their waywardness.
I will love them freely;
for my anger is turned away from him.

5 I will be like the dew to Israel.
He will blossom like the lily,
and send down his roots like Lebanon.

6 His branches will spread,
and his beauty will be like the olive tree,
and his fragrance like Lebanon.

7 Men will dwell in his shade.
They will revive like the grain,
and blossom like the vine.
Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.

8 Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols?
I answer, and will take care of him.

28 One of the scribes came, and heard them questioning together. Knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”

29 Jesus answered, “The greatest is, ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:

30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’☆This is the first commandment.

31 The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’☆There is no other commandment greater than these.”

32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,

33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.”
No one dared ask him any question after that.

30 Moses said to the children of Israel, “Behold, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

31 He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship;

32 and to make skillful works, to work in gold, in silver, in brass,

33 in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of skillful workmanship.

34 He has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35 He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all kinds of workmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do any workmanship, and of those who make skillful works.

36:1 “Bezalel and Oholiab shall work with every wise-hearted man, in whom Yahweh has put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all the work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that Yahweh has commanded.”

37:1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Its length was two and a half cubits, and its breadth a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height.

2 He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold for it around it.

3 He cast four rings of gold for it, in its four feet; even two rings on its one side, and two rings on its other side.

4 He made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.

5 He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

6 He made a mercy seat of pure gold. Its length was two and a half cubits, and a cubit and a half its breadth.

7 He made two cherubim of gold. He made them of beaten work, at the two ends of the mercy seat;

8 one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. He made the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends.

9 The cherubim spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.
