★ルカによる福音(18:9-14)

18:9
　自分を義人だと自任して他人を見下げている人たちに対して、イエスはまたこの譬をお話しになった。

18:10
　「ふたりの人が祈るために宮に上った。そのひとりはパリサイ人であり、もうひとりは取税人であった。

18:11
　パリサイ人は立って、ひとりでこう祈った、『神よ、わたしはほかの人たちのような貪欲な者、不正な者、姦淫をする者ではなく、また、この取税人のような人間でもないことを感謝します。

18:12
　わたしは一週に二度断食しており、全収入の十分の一をささげています』。

18:13
　ところが、取税人は遠く離れて立ち、目を天にむけようともしないで、胸を打ちながら言った、『神様、罪人のわたしをおゆるしください』と。

18:14
　あなたがたに言っておく。神に義とされて自分の家に帰ったのは、この取税人であって、あのパリサイ人ではなかった。おおよそ、自分を高くする者は低くされ、自分を低くする者は高くされるであろう」。

★ホセア書(6:1-6)

6:1
　「さあ、わたしたちは主に帰ろう。主はわたしたちをかき裂かれたが、またいやし、わたしたちを打たれたが、また包んでくださるからだ。

6:2
　主は、ふつかの後、わたしたちを生かし、三日目にわたしたちを立たせられる。わたしたちはみ前で生きる。

6:3
　わたしたちは主を知ろう、せつに主を知ることを求めよう。主はあしたの光のように必ず現れいで、冬の雨のように、わたしたちに臨み、春の雨のように地を潤される」。

6:4
　エフライムよ、わたしはあなたに何をしようか。ユダよ、わたしはあなたに何をしようか。あなたがたの愛はあしたの雲のごとく、また、たちまち消える露のようなものである。

6:5
　それゆえ、わたしは預言者たちによって彼らを切り倒し、わが口の言葉をもって彼らを殺した。わがさばきは現れ出る光のようだ。

6:6
　わたしはいつくしみを喜び、犠牲を喜ばない。燔祭よりもむしろ神を知ることを喜ぶ。

　神よ、あなたのいつくしみによって、わたしをあわれみ、あなたの豊かなあわれみによって、わたしのもろもろのとがをぬぐい去ってください。

　わたしの不義をことごとく洗い去り、わたしの罪からわたしを清めてください。

　あなたはいけにえを好まれません。たといわたしが燔祭をささげてもあなたは喜ばれないでしょう。

51:17
　神の受けられるいけにえは砕けた魂です。神よ、あなたは砕けた悔いた心をかろしめられません。

51:18
　あなたのみこころにしたがってシオンに恵みを施し、エルサレムの城壁を築きなおしてください。

51:19ab
　その時あなたは義のいけにえと燔祭と、全き燔祭とを喜ばれるでしょう。

　モーセはそのように行った。すなわち主が彼に命じられたように行った。

　第二年の正月になって、その月の元日に幕屋は建った。

　すなわちモーセは幕屋を建て、その座をすえ、その枠を立て、その横木をさし込み、その柱を立て、

　幕屋の上に天幕をひろげ、その上に天幕のおおいをかけた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

　彼はまたあかしの板をとって箱に納め、さおを箱につけ、贖罪所を箱の上に置き、

　箱を幕屋に携え入れ、隔ての垂幕をかけて、あかしの箱を隠した。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

　彼はまた会見の天幕なる幕屋の内部の北側、垂幕の外に机をすえ、

　その上にパンを列に並べて、主の前に供えた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

　彼はまた会見の天幕なる幕屋の内部の南側に、机にむかい合わせて燭台をすえ、

　主の前にともしびをともした。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

　彼は会見の幕屋の中、垂幕の前に金の祭壇をすえ、

40:27
　その上に香ばしい薫香をたいた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

40:28
　彼はまた幕屋の入口にとばりをかけ、

40:29
　燔祭の祭壇を会見の天幕なる幕屋の入口にすえ、その上に燔祭と素祭をささげた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

40:30
　彼はまた会見の天幕と祭壇との間に洗盤を置き、洗うためにそれに水を入れた。

40:31
　モーセとアロンおよびその子たちは、それで手と足を洗った。

40:32
　すなわち会見の天幕にはいるとき、また祭壇に近づくとき、そこで洗った。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

40:33
　また幕屋と祭壇の周囲に庭を設け、庭の門にとばりをかけた。このようにしてモーセはその工事を終えた。

40:34
　そのとき、雲は会見の天幕をおおい、主の栄光が幕屋に満ちた。

40:35
　モーセは会見の幕屋に、はいることができなかった。雲がその上にとどまり、主の栄光が幕屋に満ちていたからである。

40:36
　雲が幕屋の上からのぼる時、イスラエルの人々は道に進んだ。彼らはその旅路において常にそうした。

40:37
　しかし、雲がのぼらない時は、そののぼる日まで道に進まなかった。

40:38
　すなわちイスラエルの家のすべての者の前に、昼は幕屋の上に主の雲があり、夜は雲の中に火があった。彼らの旅路において常にそうであった。

+ First Reading: Hosea 6:1-6

1 “Come, and let us return to Yahweh;
for he has torn us to pieces,
and he will heal us;
he has injured us,
and he will bind up our wounds.

2 After two days he will revive us.
On the third day he will raise us up,
and we will live before him.

3 Let us acknowledge Yahweh.
Let us press on to know Yahweh.
As surely as the sun rises,
Yahweh will appear.
He will come to us like the rain,
like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

4 “Ephraim, what shall I do to you?
Judah, what shall I do to you?
For your love is like a morning cloud,
and like the dew that disappears early.

5 Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets;
I killed them with the words of my mouth.
Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.

6 For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice;
and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.

10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.

11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: ‘God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

16 Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did.

17 In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.

18 Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.

19 He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

20 He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.

21 He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

22 He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.

23 He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

24 He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25 He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

26 He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

27 and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

28 He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

29 He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

30 He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

31 Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

32 When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

33 He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

34 Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

35 Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

36 When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;

37 but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.

38 For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
