☆ルカによる福音(2:41-51)

2:41
　さて、イエスの両親は、過越の祭には毎年エルサレムへ上っていた。

2:42
　イエスが十二歳になった時も、慣例に従って祭のために上京した。

2:43
　ところが、祭が終って帰るとき、少年イエスはエルサレムに居残っておられたが、両親はそれに気づかなかった。

2:44
　そして道連れの中にいることと思いこんで、一日路を行ってしまい、それから、親族や知人の中を捜しはじめたが、

2:45
　見つからないので、捜しまわりながらエルサレムへ引返した。

2:46
　そして三日の後に、イエスが宮の中で教師たちのまん中にすわって、彼らの話を聞いたり質問したりしておられるのを見つけた。

2:47
　聞く人々はみな、イエスの賢さやその答に驚嘆していた。

2:48
　両親はこれを見て驚き、そして母が彼に言った、「どうしてこんな事をしてくれたのです。ごらんなさい、おとう様もわたしも心配して、あなたを捜していたのです」。

2:49
　するとイエスは言われた、「どうしてお捜しになったのですか。わたしが自分の父の家にいるはずのことを、ご存じなかったのですか」。

2:50
　しかし、両親はその語られた言葉を悟ることができなかった。

2:51
　それからイエスは両親と一緒にナザレに下って行き、彼らにお仕えになった。母はこれらの事をみな心に留めていた。




☆イザヤ書(61:9-11)

61:9
　彼らの子孫は、もろもろの国の中で知られ、彼らの子らは、もろもろの民の中に知られる。すべてこれを見る者はこれが主の祝福された民であることを認める。

61:10
　わたしは主を大いに喜び、わが魂はわが神を楽しむ。主がわたしに救の衣を着せ、義の上衣をまとわせて、花婿が冠をいただき、花嫁が宝玉をもって飾るようにされたからである。

61:11
　地が芽をいだし、園がまいたものを生やすように、主なる神は義と誉とを、もろもろの国の前に、生やされる。




☆詩編(96:10-13)

96:10
　もろもろの国民の中に言え、「主は王となられた。世界は堅く立って、動かされることはない。主は公平をもってもろもろの民をさばかれる」と。

96:11
　天は喜び、地は楽しみ、海とその中に満ちるものとは鳴りどよめき、

96:12
　田畑とその中のすべての物は大いに喜べ。そのとき、林のもろもろの木も主のみ前に喜び歌うであろう。

96:13
　主は来られる、地をさばくために来られる。主は義をもって世界をさばき、まことをもってもろもろの民をさばかれる。

☆今日の読書：ピリピ人への手紙(4:10-23)

4:10
　さて、わたしが主にあって大いに喜んでいるのは、わたしを思う心が、あなたがたに今またついに芽ばえてきたことである。実は、あなたがたは、わたしのことを心にかけてくれてはいたが、よい機会がなかったのである。

4:11
　わたしは乏しいから、こう言うのではない。わたしは、どんな境遇にあっても、足ることを学んだ。

4:12
　わたしは貧に処する道を知っており、富におる道も知っている。わたしは、飽くことにも飢えることにも、富むことにも乏しいことにも、ありとあらゆる境遇に処する秘けつを心得ている。

4:13
　わたしを強くして下さるかたによって、何事でもすることができる。

4:14
　しかし、あなたがたは、よくもわたしと患難を共にしてくれた。

4:15
　ピリピの人たちよ。あなたがたも知っているとおり、わたしが福音を宣伝し始めたころ、マケドニヤから出かけて行った時、物のやりとりをしてわたしの働きに参加した教会は、あなたがたのほかには全く無かった。

4:16
　またテサロニケでも、一再ならず、物を送ってわたしの欠乏を補ってくれた。

4:17
　わたしは、贈り物を求めているのではない。わたしの求めているのは、あなたがたの勘定をふやしていく果実なのである。

4:18
　わたしは、すべての物を受けてあり余るほどである。エパフロデトから、あなたがたの贈り物をいただいて、飽き足りている。それは、かんばしいかおりであり、神の喜んで受けて下さる供え物である。

4:19
　わたしの神は、ご自身の栄光の富の中から、あなたがたのいっさいの必要を、キリスト・イエスにあって満たして下さるであろう。

4:20
　わたしたちの父なる神に、栄光が世々限りなくあるように、アァメン。

4:21
　キリスト・イエスにある聖徒のひとりびとりに、よろしく。わたしと一緒にいる兄弟たちから、あなたがたによろしく。

4:22
　すべての聖徒たちから、特にカイザルの家の者たちから、よろしく。

4:23
　主イエス・キリストの恵みが、あなたがたの霊と共にあるように。

+ First Reading: 1 Kings 19:19-21

19 So he departed there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed over to him, and cast his mantle on him.

20 He left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, “Let me please kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.”
He said to him, “Go back again; for what have I done to you?”

21 He returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him.

The world is also established.

41 His parents went every year to Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover.

42 When he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast,

43 and when they had fulfilled the days, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. Joseph and his mother didn’t know it,

44 but supposing him to be in the company, they went a day’s journey, and they looked for him among their relatives and acquaintances.

45 When they didn’t find him, they returned to Jerusalem, looking for him.

46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the middle of the teachers, both listening to them, and asking them questions.

47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

48 When they saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us this way? Behold, your father and I were anxiously looking for you.”

49 He said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?”

50 They didn’t understand the saying which he spoke to them.

51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth. He was subject to them, and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

10 But I rejoice in the Lord greatly, that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

11 Not that I speak in respect to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

12 I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

14 However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

15 You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

16 For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

17 Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

18 But I have all things, and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

20 Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.

22 All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar’s household.

23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
