☆マルコによる福音(4:26-34)

4:26
　また言われた、「神の国は、ある人が地に種をまくようなものである。

4:27
　夜昼、寝起きしている間に、種は芽を出して育って行くが、どうしてそうなるのか、その人は知らない。

4:28
　地はおのずから実を結ばせるもので、初めに芽、つぎに穂、つぎに穂の中に豊かな実ができる。

4:29
　実がいると、すぐにかまを入れる。刈入れ時がきたからである」。

4:30
　また言われた、「神の国を何に比べようか。また、どんな譬で言いあらわそうか。

4:31
　それは一粒のからし種のようなものである。地にまかれる時には、地上のどんな種よりも小さいが、

4:32
　まかれると、成長してどんな野菜よりも大きくなり、大きな枝を張り、その陰に空の鳥が宿るほどになる」。

4:33
　イエスはこのような多くの譬で、人々の聞く力にしたがって、御言を語られた。

4:34
　譬によらないでは語られなかったが、自分の弟子たちには、ひそかにすべてのことを解き明かされた。




☆エゼキエル書(17:22-24)

17:22
　主なる神はこう言われる、「わたしはまた香柏の高いこずえから小枝をとって、これを植え、その若芽の頂から柔らかい芽を摘みとり、これを高いすぐれた山に植える。

17:23
　わたしはイスラエルの高い山にこれを植える。これは枝を出し、実を結び、みごとな香柏となり、その下にもろもろの種類の獣が住み、その枝の陰に各種の鳥が巣をつくる。

17:24
　そして野のすべての木は、主なるわたしが高い木を低くし、低い木を高くし、緑の木を枯らし、枯れ木を緑にすることを知るようになる。主であるわたしはこれを語り、これをするのである」。

　いと高き者よ、主に感謝し、み名をほめたたえるのは、よいことです。
92:2
　あしたに、あなたのいつくしみをあらわし、夜な夜な、あなたのまことをあらわすために、

92:12
　正しい者はなつめやしの木のように栄え、レバノンの香柏のように育ちます。

92:13
　彼らは主の家に植えられ、われらの神の大庭に栄えます。

92:14
　彼らは年老いてなお実を結び、いつも生気に満ち、青々として、

92:15
　主の正しいことを示すでしょう。主はわが岩です。主には少しの不義もありません。




☆コリント人への第二の手紙(5:6-10)

5:6
　だから、わたしたちはいつも心強い。そして、肉体を宿としている間は主から離れていることを、よく知っている。

5:7
　わたしたちは、見えるものによらないで、信仰によって歩いているのである。

5:8
　それで、わたしたちは心強い。そして、むしろ肉体から離れて主と共に住むことが、願わしいと思っている。

5:9
　そういうわけだから、肉体を宿としているにしても、それから離れているにしても、ただ主に喜ばれる者となるのが、心からの願いである。

5:10
　なぜなら、わたしたちは皆、キリストのさばきの座の前にあらわれ、善であれ悪であれ、自分の行ったことに応じて、それぞれ報いを受けねばならないからである。

　わたしはあなたのとがを雲のように吹き払い、あなたの罪を霧のように消した。わたしに立ち返れ、わたしはあなたをあがなったから。

　天よ、歌え、主がこの事をなされたから。地の深き所よ、呼ばわれ。もろもろの山よ、林およびその中のもろもろの木よ、声を放って歌え。主はヤコブをあがない、イスラエルのうちに栄光をあらわされたから。

44:24
　あなたをあがない、あなたを胎内に造られた主はこう言われる、「わたしは主である。わたしはよろずの物を造り、ただわたしだけが天をのべ、地をひらき、―だれがわたしと共にいたか―

　偽る物のしるしをむなしくし、占う者を狂わせ、賢い者をうしろに退けて、その知識を愚かにする。

　わたしは、わがしもべの言葉を遂げさせ、わが使の計りごとを成らせ、エルサレムについては、『これは民の住む所となる』と言い、ユダのもろもろの町については、『ふたたび建てられる、わたしはその荒れ跡を興そう』と言い、

44:27
　また淵については、『かわけ、わたしはあなたのもろもろの川を干す』と言い、

44:28
　またクロスについては、『彼はわが牧者、わが目的をことごとくなし遂げる』と言い、エルサレムについては、『ふたたび建てられる』と言い、神殿については、『あなたの基がすえられる』と言う」。

45:1
　わたしはわが受膏者クロスの右の手をとって、もろもろの国をその前に従わせ、もろもろの王の腰を解き、とびらをその前に開かせて、門を閉じさせない、と言われる主はその受膏者クロスにこう言われる、

45:2
　「わたしはあなたの前に行って、もろもろの山を平らにし、青銅のとびらをこわし、鉄の貫の木を断ち切り、

45:3
　あなたに、暗い所にある財宝と、ひそかな所に隠した宝物とを与えて、わたしは主、あなたの名を呼んだイスラエルの神であることをあなたに知らせよう。

+ First Reading: Ezekial 17:22-24

22 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will also take of the lofty top of the cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain:

23 in the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it; and it shall produce boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all birds of every wing; in the shade of its branches shall they dwell.

24 All the trees of the field shall know that I, Yahweh, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish; I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done it.

+ Psalm: Psalms 92:2-3, 13-15

1 It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh,
to sing praises to your name, Most High;

2 to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning,
and your faithfulness every night,

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree.
He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 They are planted in Yahweh’s house.
They will flourish in our God’s courts.

14 They will still produce fruit in old age.

6 Therefore we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;

7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.

8 We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

9 Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.

10 For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

26 He said, “The Kingdom of God is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,

27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he doesn’t know how.

28 For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.

29 But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

30 He said, “How will we liken the Kingdom of God? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?

31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,

32 yet when it is sown, grows up, and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”

33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.

34 Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.

23 Sing, you heavens, for Yahweh has done it!
Shout, you lower parts of the earth!
Break out into singing, you mountains, O forest, all of your trees,
for Yahweh has redeemed Jacob,
and will glorify himself in Israel.

24 Yahweh, your Redeemer,
and he who formed you from the womb says:
“I am Yahweh, who makes all things;
who alone stretches out the heavens;
who spreads out the earth by myself;

25 who frustrates the signs of the liars,
and makes diviners mad;
who turns wise men backward,
and makes their knowledge foolish;

26 who confirms the word of his servant,
and performs the counsel of his messengers;
who says of Jerusalem, ‘She will be inhabited;’
and of the cities of Judah, ‘They will be built,’
and ‘I will raise up its waste places;’

and ‘I will dry up your rivers;’

28 Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure,’

45:1 Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

2 “I will go before you,
and make the rough places smooth.
I will break the doors of brass in pieces,
and cut apart the bars of iron.

3 I will give you the treasures of darkness,
and hidden riches of secret places,
that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, who call you by your name,
even the God of Israel.
