☆ヨハネによる福音(6:37-40)

6:37
　父がわたしに与えて下さる者は皆、わたしに来るであろう。そして、わたしに来る者を決して拒みはしない。

6:38
　わたしが天から下ってきたのは、自分のこころのままを行うためではなく、わたしをつかわされたかたのみこころを行うためである。

6:39
　わたしをつかわされたかたのみこころは、わたしに与えて下さった者を、わたしがひとりも失わずに、終りの日によみがえらせるこ とである。

6:40
　わたしの父のみこころは、子を見て信じる者が、ことごとく永遠の命を得ることなのである。そして、わたしはその人々を終りの日によみがえらせるであろう」。

3章1節
　神に従う人の魂は神の手で守られ、／もはやいかなる責め苦も受けることはない。

3章2節
　愚か者たちの目には彼らは死んだ者と映り、／この世からの旅立ちは災い、

3章3節
　自分たちからの離別は破滅に見えた。ところが彼らは平和のうちにいる。

3章4節
　人間の目には懲らしめを受けたように見えても、／不滅への大いなる希望が彼らにはある。

3章5節
　わずかな試練を受けた後、豊かな恵みを得る。神が彼らを試し、／御自分にふさわしい者と判断されたからである。

3章6節
　るつぼの中の金のように神は彼らをえり分け、／焼き尽くすいけにえの献げ物として／受け入れられた。

3章9節
　主に依り頼む人は真理を悟り、／信じる人は主の愛のうちに主と共に生きる。主に清められた人々には恵みと憐れみがあり、／主に選ばれた人は主の訪れを受けるからである。




☆詩編(23:1-6)

23:1
　主はわたしの牧者であって、わたしには乏しいことがない。

23:2
　主はわたしを緑の牧場に伏させ、いこいのみぎわに伴われる。

23:3
　主はわたしの魂をいきかえらせ、み名のためにわたしを正しい道に導かれる。

23:4
　たといわたしは死の陰の谷を歩むとも、わざわいを恐れません。あなたがわたしと共におられるからです。あなたのむちと、あなた のつえはわたしを慰めます。

23:5
　あなたはわたしの敵の前で、わたしの前に宴を設け、わたしのこうべに油をそそがれる。わたしの杯はあふれます。

23:6
　わたしの生きているかぎりは必ず恵みといつくしみとが伴うでしょう。わたしはとこしえに主の宮に住むでしょう。




☆ローマ人への手紙(8:31b-35、37-39)

8:31b
　もし、神がわたしたちの味方であるなら、だれがわたしたちに敵し得ようか。

8:32
　ご自身の御子をさえ惜しまないで、わたしたちすべての者のために死に渡されたかたが、どうして、御子のみならず万物をも賜わらないことがあろうか。

8:33
　だれが、神の選ばれた者たちを訴えるのか。神は彼らを義とされるのである。

8:34
　だれが、わたしたちを罪に定めるのか。キリスト・イエスは、死んで、否、よみがえって、神の右に座し、また、わたしたちのためにとりなして下さるのである。

8:35
　だれが、キリストの愛からわたしたちを離れさせるのか。患難か、苦悩か、迫害か、飢えか、裸か、危難か、剣か。

8:37
　しかし、わたしたちを愛して下さったかたによって、わたしたちは、これらすべての事において勝ち得て余りがある。

8:38
　わたしは確信する。死も生も、天使も支配者も、現在のものも将来のものも、力あるものも、

8:39
　高いものも深いものも、その他どんな被造物も、わたしたちの主キリスト・イエスにおける神の愛から、わたしたちを引き離すことはできないのである。

☆今日の読書：コリント人への第一の手紙(15:12-34)

15:12
　さて、キリストは死人の中からよみがえったのだと宣べ伝えられているのに、あなたがたの中のある者が、死人の復活などはないと言っているのは、どうしたことか。

15:13
　もし死人の復活がないならば、キリストもよみがえらなかったであろう。

15:14
　もしキリストがよみがえらなかったとしたら、わたしたちの宣教はむなしく、あなたがたの信仰もまたむなしい。

15:15
　すると、わたしたちは神にそむく偽証人にさえなるわけだ。なぜなら、万一死人がよみがえらないとしたら、わたしたちは神が実際よみがえらせなかったはずのキリストを、よみがえらせたと言って、神に反するあかしを立てたことになるからである。

15:16
　もし死人がよみがえらないなら、キリストもよみがえらなかったであろう。

15:17
　もしキリストがよみがえらなかったとすれば、あなたがたの信仰は空虚なものとなり、あなたがたは、いまなお罪の中にいることになろう。

15:18
　そうだとすると、キリストにあって眠った者たちは、滅んでしまったのである。

15:19
　もしわたしたちが、この世の生活でキリストにあって単なる望みをいだいているだけだとすれば、わたしたちは、すべての人の中で最もあわれむべき存在となる。

15:20
　しかし事実、キリストは眠っている者の初穂として、死人の中からよみがえったのである。

15:21
　それは、死がひとりの人によってきたのだから、死人の復活もまた、ひとりの人によってこなければならない。

15:22
　アダムにあってすべての人が死んでいるのと同じように、キリストにあってすべての人が生かされるのである。

15:23
　ただ、各自はそれぞれの順序に従わねばならない。最初はキリスト、次に、主の来臨に際してキリストに属する者たち、

　それから終末となって、その時に、キリストはすべての君たち、すべての権威と権力とを打ち滅ぼして、国を父なる神に渡されるのである。

15:25
　なぜなら、キリストはあらゆる敵をその足もとに置く時までは、支配を続けることになっているからである。

　最後の敵として滅ぼされるのが、死である。

15:27
　「神は万物を彼の足もとに従わせた」からである。ところが、万物を従わせたと言われる時、万物を従わせたかたがそれに含まれていないことは、明らかである。

15:28
　そして、万物が神に従う時には、御子自身もまた、万物を従わせたそのかたに従うであろう。それは、神がすべての者にあって、すべてとなられるためである。

15:29
　そうでないとすれば、死者のためにバプテスマを受ける人々は、なぜそれをするのだろうか。もし死者が全くよみがえらないとすれば、なぜ人々が死者のためにバプテスマを受けるのか。

15:30
　また、なんのために、わたしたちはいつも危険を冒しているのか。

15:31
　兄弟たちよ。わたしたちの主キリスト・イエスにあって、わたしがあなたがたにつき持っている誇にかけて言うが、わたしは日々死んでいるのである。

15:32
　もし、わたしが人間の考えによってエペソで獣と戦ったとすれば、それはなんの役に立つのか。もし死人がよみがえらないのなら、「わたしたちは飲み食いしようではないか。あすもわからぬいのちなのだ」。

15:33
　まちがってはいけない。「悪い交わりは、良いならわしをそこなう」。

15:34
　目ざめて身を正し、罪を犯さないようにしなさい。あなたがたのうちには、神について無知な人々がいる。あなたがたをはずかしめるために、わたしはこう言うのだ。

+ First Reading: The Wisdom Of Solomon 3:1-9

1 But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God,
And no torment shall touch them.

2 In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died;
And their departure was accounted to be their hurt,

3 And their journeying away from us to be their ruin:
But they are in peace.

4 For even if in the sight of men they be punished,
Their hope is full of immortality;

5 And having borne a little chastening, they shall receive great good;
Because God made trial of them, and found them worthy of himself.

6 As gold in the furnace he proved them,
And as a whole burnt offering he accepted them.

7 And in the time of their visitation they shall shine forth,
And as sparks among stubble they shall run to and fro.

8 They shall judge nations, and have dominion over peoples;
And the Lord shall reign over them for evermore.

9 They that trust on him shall understand truth,
And * the faithful shall abide with him in love;
Because grace and mercy are to his chosen.

5 and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die.

8 But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God’s wrath through him.

10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.

11 Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

37 All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

39 This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

40 This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

+ Today's Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:12-34

12 Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.

14 If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.

15 Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn’t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.

16 For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Christ been raised.

17 If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.

18 Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

19 If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.

20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.

21 For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.

22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s, at his coming.

24 Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

27 For, “He put all things in subjection under his feet.”☆ But when he says, “All things are put in subjection”, it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.

28 When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.

29 Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead aren’t raised at all, why then are they baptized for the dead?

30 Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?

31 I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

32 If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”☆

33 Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”

34 Wake up righteously, and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
