☆マルコによる福音(12:28b-34)

12:28b
　(ひとりの律法学者がきて)イエスが巧みに答えられたのを認めて、イエスに質問した、「すべてのいましめの中で、どれが第一のものですか」。

12:29
　イエスは答えられた、「第一のいましめはこれである、『イスラエルよ、聞け。主なるわたしたちの神は、ただひとりの主である。

12:30
　心をつくし、精神をつくし、思いをつくし、力をつくして、主なるあなたの神を愛せよ』。

12:31
　第二はこれである、『自分を愛するようにあなたの隣り人を愛せよ』。これより大事ないましめは、ほかにない」。

12:32
　そこで、この律法学者はイエスに言った、「先生、仰せのとおりです、『神はひとりであって、そのほかに神はない』と言われたのは、ほんとうです。

12:33
　また『心をつくし、知恵をつくし、力をつくして神を愛し、また自分を愛するように隣り人を愛する』ということは、すべての燔祭や犠牲よりも、はるかに大事なことです」。

12:34
　イエスは、彼が適切な答をしたのを見て言われた、「あなたは神の国から遠くない」。それから後は、イエスにあえて問う者はなかった。




☆申命記(6:2-6)

6:2
　これはあなたが子や孫と共に、あなたの生きながらえる日の間、つねにあなたの神、主を恐れて、わたしが命じるもろもろの定めと、命令とを守らせるため、またあなたが長く命を保つことのできるためである。

6:3
　それゆえ、イスラエルよ、聞いて、それを守り行え。そうすれば、あなたはさいわいを得、あなたの先祖の神、主があなたに言われたように、乳と蜜の流れる国で、あなたの数は大いに増すであろう。

6:4
　イスラエルよ聞け。われわれの神、主は唯一の主である。

6:5
　あなたは心をつくし、精神をつくし、力をつくして、あなたの神、主を愛さなければならない。

6:6
　きょう、わたしがあなたに命じるこれらの言葉をあなたの心に留め、

　わが力なる主よ、わたしはあなたを愛します。

　主はわが岩、わが城、わたしを救う者、わが神、わが寄り頼む岩、わが盾、わが救の角、わが高きやぐらです。

　わたしはほめまつるべき主に呼ばわって、わたしの敵から救われるのです。

18:46
　主は生きておられます。わが岩はほむべきかな。わが救の神はあがむべきかな。

18:50
　主はその王に大いなる勝利を与え、その油そそがれた者に、ダビデとその子孫とに、とこしえにいつくしみを加えられるでしょ う。




☆ヘブル人への手紙(7:23-28)

7:23
　かつ、死ということがあるために、務を続けることができないので、多くの人々が祭司に立てられるのである。

7:24
　しかし彼は、永遠にいますかたであるので、変らない祭司の務を持ちつづけておられるのである。

7:25
　そこでまた、彼は、いつも生きていて彼らのためにとりなしておられるので、彼によって神に来る人々を、いつも救うことができるのである。

7:26
　このように、聖にして、悪も汚れもなく、罪人とは区別され、かつ、もろもろの天よりも高くされている大祭司こそ、わたしたちにとってふさわしいかたである。

7:27
　彼は、ほかの大祭司のように、まず自分の罪のため、次に民の罪のために、日々、いけにえをささげる必要はない。なぜなら、自分をささげて、一度だけ、それをされたからである。

7:28
　律法は、弱さを身に負う人間を立てて大祭司とするが、律法の後にきた誓いの御言は、永遠に全うされた御子を立てて、大祭司としたのである。

☆今日の読書：知恵の書(8:1-21)

8章1節
　知恵は地の果てから果てまでその力を及ぼし、／慈しみ深くすべてをつかさどる。

8章2節
　わたしは若いころから知恵を愛し、求めてきた。わたしの花嫁にしようと願い、／また、その美しさのとりこになった。

8章3節
　知恵は神と共に生き、その高貴な出生を誇り、／万物の主に愛されている。

8章4節
　知恵は神の認識にあずかり、／神の御業を見分けて行う。

8章5節
　人生において富が望ましい宝であるなら、／すべてを造る知恵より富むものがあるだろうか。

8章6節
　知性がものを造り出すというのなら、／万物の中で知恵にまさる造り手がいるだろうか。

8章7節
　だれか正義を愛する人がいるか。知恵こそ働いて徳を得させるのだ。すなわち、節制と賢明、／正義と勇気の徳を、知恵は教えるのである。人生にはこれらの徳よりも有益なものはない。

8章8節
　だれか幅広い体験を望む人がいるか。知恵こそ過去を知り、未来を推測し、／言葉の理解や、なぞの解釈に秀でており、／しるしや不思議、／季節や時の移り変わりを予見する。

8章9節
　わたしは、知恵と一緒に暮らそうと考えた。知恵が、善を勧めてくれ、／悩みや苦しみを慰めてくれることを／知っていたからである。

8章10節
　知恵のお陰でわたしは人々から誉れを受け、／若くても長老たちに尊敬される。

8章11節
　裁くときにはその鋭さを認められ、／権力者たちからは驚嘆の眼を向けられる。

8章12節
　わたしが黙れば人々は待ち、／声をあげれば耳を傾け、／長く話しても、手を口に当てて聞き入る。

8章13節
　わたしは知恵によって不滅を得、／後の世代にいつまでも記憶される。

8章14節
　わたしは諸国民を治め、国々を服従させよう。

8章15節
　残忍な王たちもわたしのことを聞いて恐れる。わたしは人々の間では恵み深く、／戦いのときは勇敢な者と見なされる。

8章16節
　わが家に戻れば知恵のお陰でくつろげる。知恵とのつきあいには苦さがなく、／知恵と共にある生活には苦労がない。それどころか、満足と喜びが味わえる。

8章17節
　わたしはこう考えて、／心の中で思い巡らした。知恵と縁を結べば死を免れ、

8章18節
　知恵と交わす愛には優れた楽しみがあり、／その手の業には量り難い富があると。また、知恵と語り合うことこそ賢明であり、／知恵と言葉を交わすことこそ名誉であると。そこでわたしは、／知恵をわがものにしようと巡り歩いた。

8章19節
　わたしは気立ての良い若者で、／善良な魂を恵まれていた。

　いやむしろ、善良だったので、／わたしは清い体に入った。

　わたしは知っている。神がくださるのでなければ、／知恵を得ることはできないことを。恵みの与え主を知るのは、賢明なことである。そこでわたしは主に向かい、／心の底からこう祈った。

2 that you might fear Yahweh your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

3 Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.

4 Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God; Yahweh is one:

5 and you shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

6 These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart;

23 Many, indeed, have been made priests, because they are hindered from continuing by death.

24 But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable.

25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

26 For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

27 who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

28 For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.

28b Knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”

29 Jesus answered, “The greatest is, ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:

30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’‡This is the first commandment.

31 The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’§There is no other commandment greater than these.”

32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,

33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.”
No one dared ask him any question after that.

1 But she * reaches from one end of the world to the other with full strength,
And ordereth all things † graciously.

2 Her I loved and sought out from my youth,
And I sought to take her for my bride,
And I became enamoured of her beauty.

3 She glorifieth her noble birth in that it is given her to live with God,
And the Sovereign Lord of all loved her.

4 For she is initiated into the knowledge of God,
And she ‡ chooseth out for him his works.

5 But if riches are a desired possession in life,
What is richer than wisdom, which works all things?

6 § And if understanding works,
Who more than ** wisdom is an artificer of the things that are?

7 And if a man loves righteousness,
†† The fruits of wisdom's labor are virtues,
For she teaches soberness and understanding, righteousness and courage;
And there is nothing in life for men more profitable than these.

8 And if a man longeth even for much experience,
She knows ‡‡ the things of old, and §§ divineth the things to come:
She understands subtilties of speeches and interpretations of dark sayings:
She foresees signs and wonders, and the issues of seasons and times. .

9 I determined therefore to take her to me to live with me,

10 Because of her I shall have glory among multitudes,
And honor in the sight of elders, though I be young.

11 I shall be found of a quick conceit when I give judgement,

And when I open my lips, they shall give heed to me;
And if I continue speaking, they shall lay their hand upon their mouth.

13 Because of her I shall have immortality,

And nations shall be subjected to me.

15 Dread princes shall fear me when they hear of me:
Among my §§§ people I shall show myself a good ruler, and in war courageous.

16 When I am come into my house, I shall find rest with her;
For converse with her has no bitterness,
And to live with her has no pain, but gladness and joy.

17 When I considered these things in myself,
And took thought in my heart how that in kinship to wisdom is immortality,

18 And in her friendship is good delight,
And in the labors of her hands is wealth that fails not,
And in * assiduous communing with her is understanding,
And great renown in having fellowship with her words,
I went about seeking how to take her to myself.

19 Now I was † a child of parts, and a good soul fell to my lot;

20 Nay rather, being good, I came into a body undefiled.

21 But perceiving that I could not otherwise ‡ possess wisdom except God gave her me
