マタイによる福音 5:13-16
5:13
あなたがたは、地の塩である。もし塩のききめがなくなったら、何によってその味が取りもどされようか。もはや、なんの役にも立たず、ただ外に捨てられて、人々にふみつけられるだけである。
5:14
あなたがたは、世の光である。山の上にある町は隠れることができない。
5:15
また、あかりをつけて、それを枡の下におく者はいない。むしろ燭台の上において、家の中のすべてのものを照させるのである。
5:16
そのように、あなたがたの光を人々の前に輝かし、そして、人々があなたがたのよいおこないを見て、天にいますあなたがたの父をあがめるようにしなさい。

しかし国に雨がなかったので、しばらくしてその川はかれた。

その時、主の言葉が彼に臨んで言った、

「立ってシドンに属するザレパテへ行って、そこに住みなさい。わたしはそのところのやもめ女に命じてあなたを養わせよう」。
17:10
そこで彼は立ってザレパテへ行ったが、町の門に着いたとき、ひとりのやもめ女が、その所でたきぎを拾っていた。彼はその女に声をかけて言った、「器に水を少し持ってきて、わたしに飲ませてください」。
17:11
彼女が行って、それを持ってこようとした時、彼は彼女を呼んで言った、「手に一口のパンを持ってきてください」。
17:12
彼女は言った、「あなたの神、主は生きておられます。わたしにはパンはありません。ただ、かめに一握りの粉と、びんに少しの油があるだけです。今わたしはたきぎ二、三本を拾い、うちへ帰って、わたしと子供のためにそれを調理し、それを食べて死のうとしているのです」。
17:13
エリヤは彼女に言った、「恐れるにはおよばない。行って、あなたが言ったとおりにしなさい。しかしまず、それでわたしのために小さいパンを、一つ作って持ってきなさい。その後、あなたと、あなたの子供のために作りなさい。
17:14
『主が雨を地のおもてに降らす日まで、かめの粉は尽きず、びんの油は絶えない』とイスラエルの神、主が言われるからです」。
17:15
彼女は行って、エリヤが言ったとおりにした。彼女と彼および彼女の家族は久しく食べた。

かえって、おのれをむなしうして僕のかたちをとり、人間の姿になられた。その有様は人と異ならず、

おのれを低くして、死に至るまで、しかも十字架の死に至るまで従順であられた。
2:9
それゆえに、神は彼を高く引き上げ、すべての名にまさる名を彼に賜わった。
2:10
それは、イエスの御名によって、天上のもの、地上のもの、地下のものなど、あらゆるものがひざをかがめ、
2:11
また、あらゆる舌が、「イエス・キリストは主である」と告白して、栄光を父なる神に帰するためである。

Gospel Matthew 5:13-16
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavour, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
15 Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
16 Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

7 After a while, the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.
8 the LORD’s word came to him, saying,
9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain you.”
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, and said, “Please get me a little water in a jar, that I may drink.”
11 As she was going to get it, he called to her, and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”
12 She said, “As the LORD your God lives, I don’t have a cake, but a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a jar. Behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go and do as you have said; but make me a little cake from it first, and bring it out to me, and afterward make some for you and for your son.
14 For the LORD, the God of Israel says, ‘The jar of meal will not run out, and the jar of oil will not fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain on the earth.’”
15 She went and did according to the saying of Elijah; and she, and he, and her house, ate many days.
16 The jar of meal didn’t run out, and the jar of oil did not fail, according to the LORD’s word, which he spoke by Elijah.
