マタイによる福音 5:27-32
5:27
『姦淫するな』と言われていたことは、あなたがたの聞いているところである。
5:28
しかし、わたしはあなたがたに言う。だれでも、情欲をいだいて女を見る者は、心の中ですでに姦淫をしたのである。
5:29
もしあなたの右の目が罪を犯させるなら、それを抜き出して捨てなさい。五体の一部を失っても、全身が地獄に投げ入れられない方が、あなたにとって益である。
5:30
もしあなたの右の手が罪を犯させるなら、それを切って捨てなさい。五体の一部を失っても、全身が地獄に落ち込まない方が、あなたにとって益である。
5:31
また『妻を出す者は離縁状を渡せ』と言われている。
5:32
しかし、わたしはあなたがたに言う。だれでも、不品行以外の理由で自分の妻を出す者は、姦淫を行わせるのである。また出された女をめとる者も、姦淫を行うのである。

その所で彼はほら穴にはいって、そこに宿った

主は言われた、「出て、山の上で主の前に、立ちなさい」。その時主は通り過ぎられ、主の前に大きな強い風が吹き、山を裂き、岩を砕いた。しかし主は風の中におられなかった。風の後に地震があったが、地震の中にも主はおられなかった。
19:12
地震の後に火があったが、火の中にも主はおられなかった。火の後に静かな細い声が聞えた。
19:13
エリヤはそれを聞いて顔を外套に包み、出てほら穴の口に立つと、彼に語る声が聞えた、「エリヤよ、あなたはここで何をしているのか」。
19:14
彼は言った、「わたしは万軍の神、主のために非常に熱心でありました。イスラエルの人々はあなたの契約を捨て、あなたの祭壇をこわし、刀であなたの預言者たちを殺したからです。ただわたしだけ残りましたが、彼らはわたしの命を取ろうとしています」。

主は彼に言われた、「あなたの道を帰って行って、ダマスコの荒野におもむき、ダマスコに着いて、ハザエルに油を注ぎ、スリヤの王としなさい。

またニムシの子エヒウに油を注いでイスラエルの王としなさい。またアベルメホラのシャパテの子エリシャに油を注いで、あなたに代って預言者としなさい。

わたしがそう言うのは、キリストの十字架に敵対して歩いている者が多いからである。わたしは、彼らのことをしばしばあなたがたに話したが、今また涙を流して語る。

彼らの最後は滅びである。彼らの神はその腹、彼らの栄光はその恥、彼らの思いは地上のことである。

わたしはユウオデヤに勧め、またスントケに勧める。どうか、主にあって一つ思いになってほしい。

ついては、真実な協力者よ。あなたにお願いする。このふたりの女を助けてあげなさい。彼らは、「いのちの書」に名を書きとめられているクレメンスや、その他の同労者たちと協力して、福音のためにわたしと共に戦ってくれた女たちである。

あなたがたは、主にあっていつも喜びなさい。繰り返して言うが、喜びなさい。

あなたがたの寛容を、みんなの人に示しなさい。主は近い。
4:6
何事も思い煩ってはならない。ただ、事ごとに、感謝をもって祈と願いとをささげ、あなたがたの求めるところを神に申し上げるがよい。
4:7
そうすれば、人知ではとうてい測り知ることのできない神の平安が、あなたがたの心と思いとを、キリスト・イエスにあって守るであろう。
4:8
最後に、兄弟たちよ。すべて真実なこと、すべて尊ぶべきこと、すべて正しいこと、すべて純真なこと、すべて愛すべきこと、すべてほまれあること、また徳といわれるもの、称賛に値するものがあれば、それらのものを心にとめなさい。
4:9
あなたがたが、わたしから学んだこと、受けたこと、聞いたこと、見たことは、これを実行しなさい。そうすれば、平和の神が、あなたがたと共にいますであろう。

28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.***

Behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
12 After the earthquake a fire passed; but the LORD was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a still small voice.
13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Behold, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
14 He said, “I have been very jealous for the LORD, the God of Armies; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”
15 The LORD said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.
16 Anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi to be king over Israel; and anoint Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah to be prophet in your place.
