マタイによる福音 5:33-37

5:33
　また昔の人々に『いつわり誓うな、誓ったことは、すべて主に対して果せ』と言われていたことは、あなたがたの聞いているところである。

5:34
　しかし、わたしはあなたがたに言う。いっさい誓ってはならない。天をさして誓うな。そこは神の御座であるから。

5:35
　また地をさして誓うな。そこは神の足台であるから。またエルサレムをさして誓うな。それは『大王の都』であるから。

5:36
　また、自分の頭をさして誓うな。あなたは髪の毛一すじさえ、白くも黒くもすることができない。

5:37
　あなたがたの言葉は、ただ、しかり、しかり、否、否、であるべきだ。それ以上に出ることは、悪から来るのである。

列王紀上 19:19-21

19:19
　さてエリヤはそこを去って行って、シャパテの子エリシャに会った。彼は十二くびきの牛を前に行かせ、自分は十二番目のくびきと共にいて耕していた。エリヤは彼のかたわらを通り過ぎて外套を彼の上にかけた。

19:20
　エリシャは牛を捨て、エリヤのあとに走ってきて言った、「わたしの父母に口づけさせてください。そして後あなたに従いましょう」。エリヤは彼に言った、「行ってきなさい。わたしはあなたに何をしましたか」。

19:21
　エリシャは彼を離れて帰り、ひとくびきの牛を取って殺し、牛のくびきを燃やしてその肉を煮、それを民に与えて食べさせ、立って行ってエリヤに従い、彼に仕えた。

ピリピ人への手紙 4:10-23

4:10
　さて、わたしが主にあって大いに喜んでいるのは、わたしを思う心が、あなたがたに今またついに芽ばえてきたことである。実は、あなたがたは、わたしのことを心にかけてくれてはいたが、よい機会がなかったのである。

4:11
　わたしは乏しいから、こう言うのではない。わたしは、どんな境遇にあっても、足ることを学んだ。

4:12
　わたしは貧に処する道を知っており、富におる道も知っている。わたしは、飽くことにも飢えることにも、富むことにも乏しいことにも、ありとあらゆる境遇に処する秘けつを心得ている。

4:13
　わたしを強くして下さるかたによって、何事でもすることができる。

4:14
　しかし、あなたがたは、よくもわたしと患難を共にしてくれた。

4:15
　ピリピの人たちよ。あなたがたも知っているとおり、わたしが福音を宣伝し始めたころ、マケドニヤから出かけて行った時、物のやりとりをしてわたしの働きに参加した教会は、あなたがたのほかには全く無かった。

4:16
　またテサロニケでも、一再ならず、物を送ってわたしの欠乏を補ってくれた。

4:17
　わたしは、贈り物を求めているのではない。わたしの求めているのは、あなたがたの勘定をふやしていく果実なのである。

4:18
　わたしは、すべての物を受けてあり余るほどである。エパフロデトから、あなたがたの贈り物をいただいて、飽き足りている。それは、かんばしいかおりであり、神の喜んで受けて下さる供え物である。

4:19
　わたしの神は、ご自身の栄光の富の中から、あなたがたのいっさいの必要を、キリスト・イエスにあって満たして下さるであろう。

4:20
　わたしたちの父なる神に、栄光が世々限りなくあるように、アァメン。

4:21
　キリスト・イエスにある聖徒のひとりびとりに、よろしく。わたしと一緒にいる兄弟たちから、あなたがたによろしく。

4:22
　すべての聖徒たちから、特にカイザルの家の者たちから、よろしく。

4:23
　主イエス・キリストの恵みが、あなたがたの霊と共にあるように。

Gospel Matthew 5:33-37

33 “Again you have heard that it was said to them of old time, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’

34 but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;

35 nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

36 Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.

37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.

1 Kings 19:19-21

19 So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was ploughing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth. Elijah went over to him, and put his mantle on him.

20 Elisha left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, “Let me please kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.”
He said to him, “Go back again; for what have I done to you?”

21 He returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their meat with the instruments of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him.
