マタイによる福音 11:25-30

11:25
　そのときイエスは声をあげて言われた、「天地の主なる父よ。あなたをほめたたえます。これらの事を知恵のある者や賢い者に隠して、幼な子にあらわしてくださいました。

11:26
　父よ、これはまことにみこころにかなった事でした。

11:27
　すべての事は父からわたしに任せられています。そして、子を知る者は父のほかにはなく、父を知る者は、子と、父をあらわそうとして子が選んだ者とのほかに、だれもありません。

11:28
　すべて重荷を負うて苦労している者は、わたしのもとにきなさい。あなたがたを休ませてあげよう。

11:29
　わたしは柔和で心のへりくだった者であるから、わたしのくびきを負うて、わたしに学びなさい。そうすれば、あなたがたの魂に休みが与えられるであろう。

11:30
　わたしのくびきは負いやすく、わたしの荷は軽いからである」。

申命記 7:6-11

7:6
　あなたはあなたの神、主の聖なる民である。あなたの神、主は地のおもてのすべての民のうちからあなたを選んで、自分の宝の民とされた。

7:7
　主があなたがたを愛し、あなたがたを選ばれたのは、あなたがたがどの国民よりも数が多かったからではない。あなたがたはよろずの民のうち、もっとも数の少ないものであった。

7:8
　ただ主があなたがたを愛し、またあなたがたの先祖に誓われた誓いを守ろうとして、主は強い手をもってあなたがたを導き出し、奴隷の家から、エジプトの王パロの手から、あがない出されたのである。

7:9
　それゆえあなたは知らなければならない。あなたの神、主は神にましまし、真実の神にましまして、彼を愛し、その命令を守る者には、契約を守り、恵みを施して千代に及び、

7:10
　また彼を憎む者には、めいめいに報いて滅ぼされることを。主は自分を憎む者には猶予することなく、めいめいに報いられる。

7:11
　それゆえ、きょうわたしがあなたに命じる命令と、定めと、おきてとを守って、これを行わなければならない。

ヨハネの第一の手紙 4:7-16

4:7
　愛する者たちよ。わたしたちは互に愛し合おうではないか。愛は、神から出たものなのである。すべて愛する者は、神から生れた者であって、神を知っている。

4:8
　愛さない者は、神を知らない。神は愛である。

4:9
　神はそのひとり子を世につかわし、彼によってわたしたちを生きるようにして下さった。それによって、わたしたちに対する神の愛が明らかにされたのである。

4:10
　わたしたちが神を愛したのではなく、神がわたしたちを愛して下さって、わたしたちの罪のためにあがないの供え物として、御子をおつかわしになった。ここに愛がある。

4:11
　愛する者たちよ。神がこのようにわたしたちを愛して下さったのであるから、わたしたちも互に愛し合うべきである。

4:12
　神を見た者は、まだひとりもいない。もしわたしたちが互に愛し合うなら、神はわたしたちのうちにいまし、神の愛がわたしたちのうちに全うされるのである。

4:13
　神が御霊をわたしたちに賜わったことによって、わたしたちが神におり、神がわたしたちにいますことを知る。

4:14
　わたしたちは、父が御子を世の救主としておつかわしになったのを見て、そのあかしをするのである。

4:15
　もし人が、イエスを神の子と告白すれば、神はその人のうちにいまし、その人は神のうちにいるのである。

4:16
　わたしたちは、神がわたしたちに対して持っておられる愛を知り、かつ信じている。神は愛である。愛のうちにいる者は、神におり、神も彼にいます。

8:28
　神は、神を愛する者たち、すなわち、ご計画に従って召された者たちと共に働いて、万事を益となるようにして下さることを、わたしたちは知っている。

8:29
　神はあらかじめ知っておられる者たちを、更に御子のかたちに似たものとしようとして、あらかじめ定めて下さった。それは、御子を多くの兄弟の中で長子とならせるためであった。

8:30
　そして、あらかじめ定めた者たちを更に召し、召した者たちを更に義とし、義とした者たちには、更に栄光を与えて下さったのである。

8:31
　それでは、これらの事について、なんと言おうか。もし、神がわたしたちの味方であるなら、だれがわたしたちに敵し得ようか。

8:32
　ご自身の御子をさえ惜しまないで、わたしたちすべての者のために死に渡されたかたが、どうして、御子のみならず万物をも賜わらないことがあろうか。

8:33
　だれが、神の選ばれた者たちを訴えるのか。神は彼らを義とされるのである。

8:34
　だれが、わたしたちを罪に定めるのか。キリスト・イエスは、死んで、否、よみがえって、神の右に座し、また、わたしたちのためにとりなして下さるのである。

8:35
　だれが、キリストの愛からわたしたちを離れさせるのか。患難か、苦悩か、迫害か、飢えか、裸か、危難か、剣か。

8:36
　「わたしたちはあなたのために終日、
死に定められており、
ほふられる羊のように見られている」
と書いてあるとおりである。

8:37
　しかし、わたしたちを愛して下さったかたによって、わたしたちは、これらすべての事において勝ち得て余りがある。

8:38
　わたしは確信する。死も生も、天使も支配者も、現在のものも将来のものも、力あるものも、

8:39
　高いものも深いものも、その他どんな被造物も、わたしたちの主キリスト・イエスにおける神の愛から、わたしたちを引き離すことはできないのである。

Gospel Matthew 11:25-30

25 At that time, Jesus answered, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.

26 Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.

27 All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

28 “Come to me, all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Deuteronomy 7:6-11

6 For you are a holy people to the LORD your God. the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.

7 The LORD didn’t set his love on you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples:

8 but because the LORD loves you, and because he desires to keep the oath which he swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

9 Know therefore that the LORD your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with them who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,

10 and repays those who hate him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack to him who hates him. He will repay him to his face.

11 You shall therefore keep the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command you today, to do them.

1 John 4:7-16

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.

8 He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

9 By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice* for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.

13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Saviour of the world.

15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.

16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
