☆今日の聖書物語
ヨハネによる福音 17:11b-19
聖なる父よ、わたしに賜わった御名によって彼らを守って下さい。それはわたしたちが一つであるように、彼らも一つになるためであります。
わたしが彼らと一緒にいた間は、あなたからいただいた御名によって彼らを守り、また保護してまいりました。彼らのうち、だれも滅びず、ただ滅びの子だけが滅びました。それは聖書が成就するためでした。
今わたしはみもとに参ります。そして世にいる間にこれらのことを語るのは、わたしの喜びが彼らのうちに満ちあふれるためであります。
わたしは彼らに御言を与えましたが、世は彼らを憎みました。わたしが世のものでないように、彼らも世のものではないからです。
わたしがお願いするのは、彼らを世から取り去ることではなく、彼らを悪しき者から守って下さることであります。
わたしが世のものでないように、彼らも世のものではありません。
真理によって彼らを聖別して下さい。あなたの御言は真理であります。
あなたがわたしを世につかわされたように、わたしも彼らを世につかわしました。
また彼らが真理によって聖別されるように、彼らのためわたし自身を聖別いたします。

☆今日の『み言葉』
ヨハネによる福音 17:11b-19
「受けるよりは与える方が幸いである。」
福音書には記されていない、キリストの言葉が、第1朗読、使徒言行録のパウロの話の中で紹介されています。
普通「与えるよりは受けるほうが幸せ」と考えがちな私たちの意識をまさにひっくり返してくれる教えです。
フィリピンで生活していたとき、フィリピンの人々がたとえ貧しくても客人をとことんもてなし、喜ぶ姿をみて、この言葉の意味を学んだものでした。おやつのパンを配ると、それを独り占めにすることなく、自分の弟や妹に分けてあげて、うれしそうに食べていた子供たちの笑顔も思い出します。
与える喜びを通して感じる幸せをたくさん味わうようにしたいものです。

17:11
わたしはもうこの世にはいなくなりますが、彼らはこの世に残っており、わたしはみもとに参ります。聖なる父よ、わたしに賜わった御名によって彼らを守って下さい。それはわたしたちが一つであるように、彼らも一つになるためであります。
17:12
わたしが彼らと一緒にいた間は、あなたからいただいた御名によって彼らを守り、また保護してまいりました。彼らのうち、だれも滅びず、ただ滅びの子だけが滅びました。それは聖書が成就するためでした。
17:13

どうか、あなたがた自身に気をつけ、また、すべての群れに気をくばっていただきたい。聖霊は、神が御子の血であがない取られた神の教会を牧させるために、あなたがたをその群れの監督者にお立てになったのである。
20:29
わたしが去った後、狂暴なおおかみが、あなたがたの中にはいり込んできて、容赦なく群れを荒すようになることを、わたしは知っている。
20:30
また、あなたがた自身の中からも、いろいろ曲ったことを言って、弟子たちを自分の方に、ひっぱり込もうとする者らが起るであろう。
20:31
だから、目をさましていなさい。そして、わたしが三年の間、夜も昼も涙をもって、あなたがたひとりびとりを絶えずさとしてきたことを、忘れないでほしい。
20:32
今わたしは、主とその恵みの言とに、あなたがたをゆだねる。御言には、あなたがたの徳をたて、聖別されたすべての人々と共に、御国をつがせる力がある。

わたしは、人の金や銀や衣服をほしがったことはない。

あなたがた自身が知っているとおり、わたしのこの両手は、自分の生活のためにも、また一緒にいた人たちのためにも、働いてきたのだ。

わたしは、あなたがたもこのように働いて、弱い者を助けなければならないこと、また『受けるよりは与える方が、さいわいである』と言われた主イエスの言葉を記憶しているべきことを、万事について教え示したのである」。

こう言って、パウロは一同と共にひざまずいて祈った。

みんなの者は、はげしく泣き悲しみ、パウロの首を抱いて、幾度も接吻し、

ヨハネの第一の手紙 5:1-12
5:1
すべてイエスのキリストであることを信じる者は、神から生れた者である。すべて生んで下さったかたを愛する者は、そのかたから生れた者をも愛するのである。
5:2
神を愛してその戒めを行えば、それによってわたしたちは、神の子たちを愛していることを知るのである。
5:3
神を愛するとは、すなわち、その戒めを守ることである。そして、その戒めはむずかしいものではない。
5:4
なぜなら、すべて神から生れた者は、世に勝つからである。そして、わたしたちの信仰こそ、世に勝たしめた勝利の力である。
5:5
世に勝つ者はだれか。イエスを神の子と信じる者ではないか。
5:6
このイエス・キリストは、水と血とをとおってこられたかたである。水によるだけではなく、水と血とによってこられたのである。そのあかしをするものは、御霊である。御霊は真理だからである。
5:7
あかしをするものが、三つある。
5:8
御霊と水と血とである。そして、この三つのものは一致する。
5:9
わたしたちは人間のあかしを受けいれるが、しかし、神のあかしはさらにまさっている。神のあかしというのは、すなわち、御子について立てられたあかしである。
5:10
神の子を信じる者は、自分のうちにこのあかしを持っている。神を信じない者は、神を偽り者とする。神が御子についてあかしせられたそのあかしを、信じていないからである。
5:11
そのあかしとは、神が永遠のいのちをわたしたちに賜わり、かつ、そのいのちが御子のうちにあるということである。
5:12
御子を持つ者はいのちを持ち、神の御子を持たない者はいのちを持っていない。

Gospel : John 17:11b-19
11b Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. Those whom you have given me I have kept. None of them is lost, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
13 But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.
14 I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.☆
18 As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.
19 For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

28 Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and ‡ God which he purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in amongst you, not sparing the flock.
30 Men will arise from amongst your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.
32 Now, brothers,§ I entrust you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance amongst all those who are sanctified.
33 I coveted no one’s silver, or gold, or clothing.
34 You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities, and those who were with me.
35 In all things I gave you an example, that so labouring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
36 When he had spoken these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
37 They all wept a lot, and fell on Paul’s neck and kissed him,
38 sorrowing most of all because of the word which he had spoken, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.
