イエスがこう話しておられるとき、群衆の中からひとりの女が声を張りあげて言った、「あなたを宿した胎、あなたが吸われた乳房は、なんとめぐまれていることでしょう」。
しかしイエスは言われた、「いや、めぐまれているのは、むしろ、神の言を聞いてそれを守る人たちである」。

ルカによる福音 11:27-28
「幸いなのは神の言葉を聞き、それを守る人である」。これは、今日の福音にある主イエスの言葉です。聖書には多くの人々に福音を伝える主の姿があり、また、主を喜び迎える人々の姿もあります。幸いな者とは神の言葉を聞き、それを守る人です。わたしたちも神の言葉を聞き、そして主を思い起こします。一日のはじまりは神をほめたたえることであり、祈りを通して毎日の生活に向かっていきます。今日も一日、「神の言葉を聞き、それを守る人」として共に過ごすことができますように。

もろもろの国民をふるい立たせ、

周囲のすべての国民をさばく。

かまを入れよ、作物は熟した。
来て踏め、
酒ぶねは満ち、石がめはあふれている。
彼らの悪が大きいからだ。

群衆また群衆は、さばきの谷におる。
主の日がさばきの谷に近いからである。

日も月も暗くなり、星もその光を失う。

主はシオンから大声で叫び、
エルサレムから声を出される。
天も地もふるい動く。
しかし主はその民の避け所、
イスラエルの人々のとりでである。

主は言われる、
「わたしは地のおもてからすべてのものを一掃する」。

主は言われる、
「わたしは人も獣も一掃し、
空の鳥、海の魚をも一掃する。
わたしは悪人を倒す。
わたしは地のおもてから人を絶ち滅ぼす」。

「わたしはユダとエルサレムの
すべての住民との上に手を伸べる。
わたしはこの所からバアルの残党と、

共につどい、集まれ。

すなわち、もみがらのように追いやられる前に、
主の激しい怒りがまだあなたがたに臨まない前に、

すべて主の命令を行うこの地のへりくだる者よ、

Gospel: Luke 11:27-28
27 It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice, and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!”
28 But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”

Joel 3:12-21（The New American Bible, Revised Edition (NABRE) 4:12-21）
12 “Let the nations arouse themselves,
and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat;
for there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
13 Put in the sickle;
for the harvest is ripe.
Come, tread, for the wine press is full,
the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.”
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!
For the day of the LORD is near, in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon are darkened,
and the stars withdraw their shining.
16 The LORD will roar from Zion,
and thunder from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth will shake;
but the LORD will be a refuge to his people,
and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
17 “So you will know that I am the LORD, your God,
dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain.
Then Jerusalem will be holy,
and no strangers will pass through her any more.
18 It will happen in that day,
that the mountains will drop down sweet wine,
the hills will flow with milk,
all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters,
and a fountain will flow out from the LORD’s house,
and will water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt will be a desolation,
and Edom will be a desolate wilderness,
for the violence done to the children of Judah,
because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah will be inhabited forever,
and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 I will cleanse their blood,
that I have not cleansed:
for the LORD dwells in Zion.”
