マタイによる福音 15:29-37
イエスはそこを去って、ガリラヤの海べに行き、それから山に登ってそこにすわられた。
すると大ぜいの群衆が、足なえ、不具者、盲人、おし、そのほか多くの人々を連れてきて、イエスの足もとに置いたので、彼らをおいやしになった。
群衆は、おしが物を言い、不具者が直り、足なえが歩き、盲人が見えるようになったのを見て驚き、そしてイスラエルの神をほめたたえた。
イエスは弟子たちを呼び寄せて言われた、「この群衆がかわいそうである。もう三日間もわたしと一緒にいるのに、何も食べるものがない。しかし、彼らを空腹のままで帰らせたくはない。恐らく途中で弱り切ってしまうであろう」。
弟子たちは言った、「荒野の中で、こんなに大ぜいの群衆にじゅうぶん食べさせるほどたくさんのパンを、どこで手に入れましょうか」。
イエスは弟子たちに「パンはいくつあるか」と尋ねられると、「七つあります。また小さい魚が少しあります」と答えた。
そこでイエスは群衆に、地にすわるようにと命じ、
七つのパンと魚とを取り、感謝してこれをさき、弟子たちにわたされ、弟子たちはこれを群衆にわけた。
一同の者は食べて満腹した。そして残ったパンくずを集めると、七つのかごにいっぱいになった。

☆今日の『み言葉』
マタイによる福音 15:29-37
「これほど大勢の人に十分食べさせるほどのパンが、どこから手に入れるでしょうか。」（マタイ15：29-37）
イエスがガリラヤに戻り、山に登って教えられる。そこには、さまざまな病気や困難をかかえた大勢の群衆が、イエスにいやしていただくためにそばにやって来る。人数はますます増える。もう三日も続いている。
その様子を見たイエスは、「群集がかわいそうだ」、「空腹のままで解散させたくはない」と、弟子たちに食べ物を与えるように指示する。
人々の飢えを満たすために弟子たちに力を願う。そうです。イエスはその時もそして今も、あなたを通じて困っている人を助けたいと願っている。「これほど大勢の人に十分食べさせるほどのパンがどこから手に入るでしょうか」。弟子たちが力不足を感じるのは当たり前。この砂漠地帯でどうすればよいのか。イエスが弟子たち頼まれたのは、今あるものを持ってきなさいということだ。決して全員のパンを持ってくるようにと言っているわけではない。普通は、不可能なことだとあきらめて何もしないはずだ。しかし、弟子たちと同じように、自分たちの力のなさを痛感して、今あるものを差し出してイエスに願うことが大切なのだ。弟子たちのようにイエスにわたしたちの小さな力をゆだねよう。
イエスよ、わたしたちのわずかなパンにあなたの大きな助けを加えて、今日も奇跡を起こしてください。

イザヤ書 25:6-10a
25:6
万軍の主はこの山で、すべての民のために肥えたものをもって祝宴を設け、久しくたくわえたぶどう酒をもって祝宴を設けられる。すなわち髄の多い肥えたものと、よく澄んだ長くたくわえたぶどう酒をもって祝宴を設けられる。
25:7
また主はこの山で、すべての民のかぶっている顔おおいと、すべての国のおおっているおおい物とを破られる。
25:8
主はとこしえに死を滅ぼし、主なる神はすべての顔から涙をぬぐい、その民のはずかしめを全地の上から除かれる。これは主の語られたことである。
25:9
その日、人は言う、「見よ、これはわれわれの神である。わたしたちは彼を待ち望んだ。彼はわたしたちを救われる。これは主である。わたしたちは彼を待ち望んだ。わたしたちはその救を喜び楽しもう」と。

それに良いぶどうを植え、
その中に物見やぐらを建て、
またその中に酒ぶねを掘り、
良いぶどうの結ぶのを待ち望んだ。
ところが結んだものは野ぶどうであった。
5:3
それで、エルサレムに住む者とユダの人々よ、
どうか、わたしとぶどう畑との間をさばけ。
5:4
わたしが、ぶどう畑になした事のほかに、
何かなすべきことがあるか。
わたしは良いぶどうの結ぶのを待ち望んだのに、
どうして野ぶどうを結んだのか。
5:5
それで、わたしが、ぶどう畑になそうとすることを、
あなたがたに告げる。
わたしはそのまがきを取り去って、
食い荒されるにまかせ、そのかきをとりこわして、
踏み荒されるにまかせる。
5:6
わたしはこれを荒して、
刈り込むことも、耕すこともせず、
おどろと、いばらとを生えさせ、
また雲に命じて、その上に雨を降らさない。
5:7
万軍の主のぶどう畑はイスラエルの家であり、
主が喜んでそこに植えられた物は、
ユダの人々である。
主はこれに公平を望まれたのに、
見よ、流血。
正義を望まれたのに、
見よ、叫び。

Gospel: Matthew 15:29-37
29 Jesus departed there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there.
30 Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,
31 so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing---and they glorified the God of Israel.
32 Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”
33 The disciples said to him, “Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”
34 Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?”
They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
35 He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;
36 and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
37 They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.

Isaiah 25:6-10a
6 In this mountain, the LORD of Armies will make all peoples a feast of choice meat,* a feast of choice wines, of choice meat full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.
7 He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for the LORD has spoken it.
9 It shall be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is the LORD! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”
10a For in this mountain the LORD’s hand will rest.
