マルコによる福音16:15-20
そして彼らに言われた、「全世界に出て行って、すべての造られたものに福音を宣べ伝えよ。
信じてバプテスマを受ける者は救われる。しかし、不信仰の者は罪に定められる。
信じる者には、このようなしるしが伴う。すなわち、彼らはわたしの名で悪霊を追い出し、新しい言葉を語り、
へびをつかむであろう。また、毒を飲んでも、決して害を受けない。病人に手をおけば、いやされる」。
主イエスは彼らに語り終ってから、天にあげられ、神の右にすわられた。
弟子たちは出て行って、至る所で福音を宣べ伝えた。主も彼らと共に働き、御言に伴うしるしをもって、その確かなことをお示しになった。

テオピロよ、わたしは先に第一巻を著わして、イエスが行い、また教えはじめてから、

お選びになった使徒たちに、聖霊によって命じたのち、天に上げられた日までのことを、ことごとくしるした。
1:3
イエスは苦難を受けたのち、自分の生きていることを数々の確かな証拠によって示し、四十日にわたってたびたび彼らに現れて、神の国のことを語られた。
1:4
そして食事を共にしているとき、彼らにお命じになった、「エルサレムから離れないで、かねてわたしから聞いていた父の約束を待っているがよい。
1:5
すなわち、ヨハネは水でバプテスマを授けたが、あなたがたは間もなく聖霊によって、バプテスマを授けられるであろう」。
1:6
さて、弟子たちが一緒に集まったとき、イエスに問うて言った、「主よ、イスラエルのために国を復興なさるのは、この時なのですか」。
1:7
彼らに言われた、「時期や場合は、父がご自分の権威によって定めておられるのであって、あなたがたの知る限りではない。
1:8
ただ、聖霊があなたがたにくだる時、あなたがたは力を受けて、エルサレム、ユダヤとサマリヤの全土、さらに地のはてまで、わたしの証人となるであろう」。

こう言い終ると、イエスは彼らの見ている前で天に上げられ、雲に迎えられて、その姿が見えなくなった。

イエスの上って行かれるとき、彼らが天を見つめていると、見よ、白い衣を着たふたりの人が、彼らのそばに立っていて

言った、「ガリラヤの人たちよ、なぜ天を仰いで立っているのか。あなたがたを離れて天に上げられたこのイエスは、天に上って行かれるのをあなたがたが見たのと同じ有様で、またおいでになるであろう」。

さて、主にある囚人であるわたしは、あなたがたに勧める。あなたがたが召されたその召しにふさわしく歩き、

できる限り謙虚で、かつ柔和であり、寛容を示し、愛をもって互に忍びあい、

平和のきずなで結ばれて、聖霊による一致を守り続けるように努めなさい。
4:4
からだは一つ、御霊も一つである。あなたがたが召されたのは、一つの望みを目ざして召されたのと同様である。

主は一つ、信仰は一つ、バプテスマは一つ。
4:6
すべてのものの上にあり、すべてのものを貫き、すべてのものの内にいます、すべてのものの父なる神は一つである。

しかし、キリストから賜わる賜物のはかりに従って、わたしたちひとりびとりに、恵みが与えられている。

そこで、こう言われている、
「彼は高いところに上った時、
とりこを捕えて引き行き、
人々に賜物を分け与えた」。

さて「上った」と言う以上、また地下の低い底にも降りてこられたわけではないか。
4:10
降りてこられた者自身は、同時に、あらゆるものに満ちるために、もろもろの天の上にまで上られたかたなのである。
4:11
そして彼は、ある人を使徒とし、ある人を預言者とし、ある人を伝道者とし、ある人を牧師、教師として、お立てになった。
4:12
それは、聖徒たちをととのえて奉仕のわざをさせ、キリストのからだを建てさせ、
4:13
わたしたちすべての者が、神の子を信じる信仰の一致と彼を知る知識の一致とに到達し、全き人となり、ついに、キリストの満ちみちた徳の高さにまで至るためである。

こうして、わたしたちはもはや子供ではないので、だまし惑わす策略により、人々の悪巧みによって起る様々な教の風に吹きまわされたり、もてあそばれたりすることがなく、

愛にあって真理を語り、あらゆる点において成長し、かしらなるキリストに達するのである。

また、キリストを基として、全身はすべての節々の助けにより、しっかりと組み合わされ結び合わされ、それぞれの部分は分に応じて働き、からだを成長させ、愛のうちに育てられていくのである。

そこで、わたしは主にあっておごそかに勧める。あなたがたは今後、異邦人がむなしい心で歩いているように歩いてはならない。

彼らの知力は暗くなり、その内なる無知と心の硬化とにより、神のいのちから遠く離れ、

自ら無感覚になって、ほしいままにあらゆる不潔な行いをして、放縦に身をゆだねている。

しかしあなたがたは、そのようにキリストに学んだのではなかった。

あなたがたはたしかに彼に聞き、彼にあって教えられて、イエスにある真理をそのまま学んだはずである。

すなわち、あなたがたは、以前の生活に属する、情欲に迷って滅び行く古き人を脱ぎ捨て、

Gospel: Mark 16:15-20
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.
16 He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
17 These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19 So then the Lord,‡ after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

1 The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,
2 until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.
3 To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking about God’s Kingdom.
4 Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
5 For John indeed baptised in water, but you will be baptised in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
6 Therefore when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
7 He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
9 When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold,* two men stood by them in white clothing,
11 who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”
*1:10: “Behold”, from “?δο?”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.

1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,

5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ;
