☆今日の聖書物語 *

マルコによる福音 4:21-25

　また彼らに言われた、「ますの下や寝台の下に置くために、あかりを持ってくることがあろうか。燭台の上に置くためではないか。

　なんでも、隠されているもので、現れないものはなく、秘密にされているもので、明るみに出ないものはない。

　聞く耳のある者は聞くがよい」。

　また彼らに言われた、「聞くことがらに注意しなさい。あなたがたの量るそのはかりで、自分にも量り与えられ、その上になお増し加えられるであろう。

　だれでも、持っている人は更に与えられ、持っていない人は、持っているものまでも取り上げられるであろう」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 4:21-25

　今日のこの福音は昨日の箇所の続きで、イエス様は人々に神の言葉を聴く人の姿勢について話されています。だからこの箇所は、ただそのまま抜き出して考えようとすると、書かれてある言葉の意味はわかるとしても、イエス様の言わんとすることの意味がわかり辛くなってしまうところでもあります。

　イエス様がここで言われている「ともしび」は神様のみ言葉のことだととらえることが出来ます。神様の言葉を聴く人は、それを胸に秘めて隠したりすると意味がないということでしょう。そうするのではなくて、神の言葉を実行して人々に表されるべきだとイエス様は諭しておられるのです。更に神の言葉は人の心の中の隠れているものを照らし出す力を持っていることも私たちに悟らせています。

　「何を聞いているか注意しなさい」と言われます。神の言葉に耳を傾けているか、それをちゃんと聴いているかどうか振り返りを促されます。自分の聴きたいことだけ、自分の耳に心地よいことだけを聴こうとすると、神様の言葉はあまり聞こえてこなくなるわけです。

　神様の言葉を聴く耳を持つ人、持っている人になりなさいと、イエス様は私たちに訴えておられるのが聞こえますか？

　すなわち、モーセが、律法に従ってすべての戒めを民全体に宣言したとき、水と赤色の羊毛とヒソプとの外に、子牛とやぎとの血を取って、契約書と民全体とにふりかけ、

　そして、「これは、神があなたがたに対して立てられた契約の血である」と言った。

　彼はまた、幕屋と儀式用の器具いっさいにも、同様に血をふりかけた。

　こうして、ほとんどすべての物が、律法に従い、血によってきよめられたのである。血を流すことなしには、罪のゆるしはあり得ない。

9:23
　このように、天にあるもののひな型は、これらのものできよめられる必要があるが、天にあるものは、これらより更にすぐれたいけにえで、きよめられねばならない。

9:24
　ところが、キリストは、ほんとうのものの模型にすぎない、手で造った聖所にはいらないで、上なる天にはいり、今やわたしたちのために神のみまえに出て下さったのである。

9:25
　大祭司は、年ごとに、自分以外のものの血をたずさえて聖所にはいるが、キリストは、そのように、たびたびご自身をささげられるのではなかった。

24 He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.

25 For whoever has, to him will more be given, and he who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”

19 Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,

☆今日の聖書物語 *

マルコによる福音 4:1-20

　イエスはまたも、海べで教えはじめられた。おびただしい群衆がみもとに集まったので、イエスは舟に乗ってすわったまま、海上におられ、群衆はみな海に沿って陸地にいた。

　イエスは譬で多くの事を教えられたが、その教の中で彼らにこう言われた、

　「聞きなさい、種まきが種をまきに出て行った。

　まいているうちに、道ばたに落ちた種があった。すると、鳥がきて食べてしまった。

　ほかの種は土の薄い石地に落ちた。そこは土が深くないので、すぐ芽を出したが、

　日が上ると焼けて、根がないために枯れてしまった。

　ほかの種はいばらの中に落ちた。すると、いばらが伸びて、ふさいでしまったので、実を結ばなかった。

　ほかの種は良い地に落ちた。そしてはえて、育って、ますます実を結び、三十倍、六十倍、百倍にもなった」。

　そして言われた、「聞く耳のある者は聞くがよい」。

　イエスがひとりになられた時、そばにいた者たちが、十二弟子と共に、これらの譬について尋ねた。

　そこでイエスは言われた、「あなたがたには神の国の奥義が授けられているが、ほかの者たちには、すべてが譬で語られる。

　それは
『彼らは見るには見るが、認めず、
聞くには聞くが、悟らず、
悔い改めてゆるされることがない』ためである」。

　また彼らに言われた、「あなたがたはこの譬がわからないのか。それでは、どうしてすべての譬がわかるだろうか。

　種まきは御言をまくのである。

　道ばたに御言がまかれたとは、こういう人たちのことである。すなわち、御言を聞くと、すぐにサタンがきて、彼らの中にまかれた御言を、奪って行くのである。

　同じように、石地にまかれたものとは、こういう人たちのことである。御言を聞くと、すぐに喜んで受けるが、

　自分の中に根がないので、しばらく続くだけである。そののち、御言のために困難や迫害が起ってくると、すぐつまずいてしまう。

　また、いばらの中にまかれたものとは、こういう人たちのことである。御言を聞くが、

　世の心づかいと、富の惑わしと、その他いろいろな欲とがはいってきて、御言をふさぐので、実を結ばなくなる。

　また、良い地にまかれたものとは、こういう人たちのことである。御言を聞いて受けいれ、三十倍、六十倍、百倍の実を結ぶのである」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 4:1-20

　小学生の頃、学校の裏にあった荒れ放題の畑を長い時間をかけてきれいな畑にしたことがあります。畑にはなったものの、石だらけ。たくさんの小石を取り除く作業が続きました。石も拾い終わり、一人ひとりうねを作ってサツマイモを植えました。秋には収穫祭（サツマイモ料理ばかりですが）がありました。次の年は各自好きな花の種を植え、育てました。とてもなつかしい思い出です。さて、今日の福音は種まきのたとえ話です。ある種は道端に、ある種は石地に、ある種は茨の中、そしてある種は良い土地へと落ちていきます。なかなか成長していかないのは、種にとって土地が大切だからです。良い土地に落ちた種はたくさんの実をつけます。福音の後半には、このたとえの説明があります。もう一度じっくり読んでみましょう。・・・私たちにも御言葉が蒔かれています。実り多いものとなりますよう、ただ聞くだけでなく、その御言葉を生きる者として生活していきたいものです。

Gospel : Mark 4:1-20

1 Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea, and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.

2 He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,

3 “Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow,

4 and as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds* came and devoured it.

5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.

6 When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

7 Others fell amongst the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8 Others fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some produced thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much.”

9 He said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”

10 When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.

11 He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,

12 that ‘seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’”☆

13 He said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?

14 The farmer sows the word.

15 The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them.

16 These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.

17 They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.

18 Others are those who are sown amongst the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,

19 and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

20 Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”

15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,

then he says,

17 “I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”☆

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

　さて、イエスの母と兄弟たちとがきて、外に立ち、人をやってイエスを呼ばせた。

　ときに、群衆はイエスを囲んですわっていたが、「ごらんなさい。あなたの母上と兄弟、姉妹たちが、外であなたを尋ねておられます」と言った。

　すると、イエスは彼らに答えて言われた、「わたしの母、わたしの兄弟とは、だれのことか」。

　そして、自分をとりかこんで、すわっている人々を見まわして、言われた、「ごらんなさい、ここにわたしの母、わたしの兄弟がいる。

　神のみこころを行う者はだれでも、わたしの兄弟、また姉妹、また母なのである」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 3:31-35

　イエスの身内は「彼は気が変になった」と告げられてイエスを連れ戻しに来ました。この記事をして「身内でさえイエスにつまずいた」とする解釈がありますが、そうかもしれないし、そうでないかもしれません。社会的には、身内の異常を告げられて放っておけるものではありません。少なくともどんな状態かを確認に行くでしょう。確認した後で、イエスがおかしくなったと思ったのなら、つまずきと言えるでしょうが、その点について聖書は詳細を語りません。つまり、そんなこと（身内がつまずいたかどうか）には関心がありません。重要なのは35節の結語であり、そのポイントは「行う」ということばです。

　もしできたとすれば、儀式にたずさわる者たちは、一度きよめられた以上、もはや罪の自覚がなくなるのであるから、ささげ物をすることがやんだはずではあるまいか。

　しかし実際は、年ごとに、いけにえによって罪の思い出がよみがえって来るのである。

10:4
　なぜなら、雄牛ややぎなどの血は、罪を除き去ることができないからである。

　それだから、キリストがこの世にこられたとき、次のように言われた、
「あなたは、いけにえやささげ物を望まれないで、
わたしのために、からだを備えて下さった。

10:6
　あなたは燔祭や罪祭を好まれなかった。

10:7
　その時、わたしは言った、
『神よ、わたしにつき、
巻物の書物に書いてあるとおり、
見よ、御旨を行うためにまいりました』」。

10:8
　ここで、初めに、「あなたは、いけにえとささげ物と燔祭と罪祭と（すなわち、律法に従ってささげられるもの）を望まれず、好まれもしなかった」とあり、

10:9
　次に、「見よ、わたしは御旨を行うためにまいりました」とある。すなわち、彼は、後のものを立てるために、初めのものを廃止されたのである。

10:10
　この御旨に基きただ一度イエス・キリストのからだがささげられたことによって、わたしたちはきよめられたのである。

33 He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”

34 Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!

35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”

Hebrews 10:1-10

1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

2 Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?

3 But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.

4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

5 Therefore when he comes into the world, he says,
“Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire,
but you prepared a body for me.

6 You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.

7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me)
to do your will, O God.’”☆

8 Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),

9 then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,

10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

☆今日の聖書物語 *

マルコによる福音 3:22-30

　また、エルサレムから下ってきた律法学者たちも、「彼はベルゼブルにとりつかれている」と言い、「悪霊どものかしらによって、悪霊どもを追い出しているのだ」とも言った。

　そこでイエスは彼らを呼び寄せ、譬をもって言われた、「どうして、サタンがサタンを追い出すことができようか。

　もし国が内部で分れ争うなら、その国は立ち行かない。

　また、もし家が内わで分れ争うなら、その家は立ち行かないであろう。

　もしサタンが内部で対立し分争するなら、彼は立ち行けず、滅んでしまう。

　だれでも、まず強い人を縛りあげなければ、その人の家に押し入って家財を奪い取ることはできない。縛ってからはじめて、その家を略奪することができる。

　よく言い聞かせておくが、人の子らには、その犯すすべての罪も神をけがす言葉も、ゆるされる。

　しかし、聖霊をけがす者は、いつまでもゆるされず、永遠の罪に定められる」。

　そう言われたのは、彼らが「イエスはけがれた霊につかれている」と言っていたからである。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 3:22-30

　今日の福音のエピソードの中で、イエスは「どんな罪もすべて赦されるが、聖霊を冒涜する者は永遠に赦されず、永遠に罪の責めを負う」ときわめて厳しい言葉を残されている。

　冒涜と訳されたギリシア語は、宗教的には「けがす」という意味で、ほとんど「神をけがす」ことを指している。イエスは「聖霊をけがす罪」だけは赦されないと言われた。それでは「聖霊を汚す赦されざる罪」とは何だろう。一言で言えば「頑なに改心を拒む」ことである。拒むにはいろいろ訳があるだろう。ある人は絶望し、ある人は思い上がって神の救いの手を拒むかもしれない。人間の恐ろしさは神の救いの手を拒む自由があるということである。

　ここでシスチーナ礼拝堂のミケランジェロの最後の審判の絵を思い起こしたい。向かって左下に地獄に落ちていく人々が描かれているが、そこに筋骨逞しい天使が落ちていく人間を鎖で引き上げている構図がある。（ちなみに天使に羽など生えていない。また世の中全体が男も長髪の時代に、短髪の格闘技に出そうな青年である。）その天使の手にある鎖をよく見るとそれは、ロザリオである。人間という者は、所詮、罪の重荷で落ちていく、それを神の恵みが引っ張り上げていく、ミケランジェロの神学が見事に描かれている。

　私たちは全能の神を信じているという。この神の全能さを、私たちはどこに見ているのだろう。天地創造の話をイメージする人は多いだろう。しかし神の全能は、自由であるがゆえに罪深く、下へ下へと落ちていく人間を、がっちり引き上げてくださる恵みのうちに、むしろ現わされているのである。赦されない罪の話に不安を感じる人は、救いの恵みに現われる神の全能を思い起して欲しい。

ヘブル人への手紙 9:15, 24-28

　それだから、キリストは新しい契約の仲保者なのである。それは、彼が初めの契約のもとで犯した罪過をあがなうために死なれた結果、召された者たちが、約束された永遠の国を受け継ぐためにほかならない。

9:24
　ところが、キリストは、ほんとうのものの模型にすぎない、手で造った聖所にはいらないで、上なる天にはいり、今やわたしたちのために神のみまえに出て下さったのである。

9:25
　大祭司は、年ごとに、自分以外のものの血をたずさえて聖所にはいるが、キリストは、そのように、たびたびご自身をささげられるのではなかった。

　もしそうだとすれば、世の初めから、たびたび苦難を受けねばならなかったであろう。しかし事実、ご自身をいけにえとしてささげて罪を取り除くために、世の終りに、一度だけ現れたのである。

Gospel : Mark 3:22-30

22 The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons.”

23 He summoned them, and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?

24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

26 If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end.

27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.

28 Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;

29 but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.”*

30__because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”

15 For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

25 nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,

26 or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgement,

28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.

　わたしたちの間に成就された出来事を、最初から親しく見た人々であって、

　御言に仕えた人々が伝えたとおり物語に書き連ねようと、多くの人が手を着けましたが、

　テオピロ閣下よ、わたしもすべての事を初めから詳しく調べていますので、ここに、それを順序正しく書きつづって、閣下に献じることにしました。

　すでにお聞きになっている事が確実であることを、これによって十分に知っていただきたいためであります。

　それからイエスは御霊の力に満ちあふれてガリラヤへ帰られると、そのうわさがその地方全体にひろまった。

　イエスは諸会堂で教え、みんなの者から尊敬をお受けになった。

　それからお育ちになったナザレに行き、安息日にいつものように会堂にはいり、聖書を朗読しようとして立たれた。

　すると預言者イザヤの書が手渡されたので、その書を開いて、こう書いてある所を出された、

　「主の御霊がわたしに宿っている。
貧しい人々に福音を宣べ伝えさせるために、
わたしを聖別してくださったからである。
主はわたしをつかわして、
囚人が解放され、盲人の目が開かれることを告げ知らせ、
打ちひしがれている者に自由を得させ、

　主のめぐみの年を告げ知らせるのである」。

　イエスは聖書を巻いて係りの者に返し、席に着かれると、会堂にいるみんなの者の目がイエスに注がれた。

　そこでイエスは、「この聖句は、あなたがたが耳にしたこの日に成就した」と説きはじめられた。

ネヘミヤ記 8:2-4a, 5-6, 8-10

　祭司エズラは七月の一日に律法を携えて来て、男女の会衆およびすべて聞いて悟ることのできる人々の前にあらわれ、

　水の門の前にある広場で、あけぼのから正午まで、男女および悟ることのできる人々の前でこれを読んだ。民はみな律法の書に耳を傾けた。

　学者エズラはこの事のために、かねて設けた木の台の上に立った

　エズラはすべての民の前にその書を開いた。彼はすべての民よりも高い所にいたからである。彼が書を開くと、すべての民は起立した。

　エズラは大いなる神、主をほめ、民は皆その手をあげて、「アァメン、アァメン」と言って答え、こうべをたれ、地にひれ伏して主を拝した。

　からだが一つであっても肢体は多くあり、また、からだのすべての肢体が多くあっても、からだは一つであるように、キリストの場合も同様である。

1:1 Since many have undertaken to set in order a narrative concerning those matters which have been fulfilled amongst us,

2 even as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word delivered them to us,

3 it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus;

4 that you might know the certainty concerning the things in which you were instructed.

14 Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.

15 He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

16 He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

17 The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to heal the broken hearted,*
to proclaim release to the captives,
recovering of sight to the blind,
to deliver those who are crushed,

19 and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”☆

20 He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

2 Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly, both men and women, and all who could hear with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.

3 He read from it before the wide place that was in front of the water gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women, and of those who could understand. The ears of all the people were attentive to the book of the law.

4a Ezra the scribe stood on a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose;

5 Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people (for he was above all the people), and when he opened it, all the people stood up.

6 Then Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God.

26 When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

28 God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.

29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?

30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

ルカによる福音 10:1-9

　その後、主は別に七十二人を選び、行こうとしておられたすべての町や村へ、ふたりずつ先におつかわしになった。

　そのとき、彼らに言われた、「収穫は多いが、働き人が少ない。だから、収穫の主に願って、その収穫のために働き人を送り出すようにしてもらいなさい。

　さあ、行きなさい。わたしがあなたがたをつかわすのは、小羊をおおかみの中に送るようなものである。

　財布も袋もくつも持って行くな。だれにも道であいさつするな。

　どこかの家にはいったら、まず『平安がこの家にあるように』と言いなさい。

　もし平安の子がそこにおれば、あなたがたの祈る平安はその人の上にとどまるであろう。もしそうでなかったら、それはあなたがたの上に帰って来るであろう。

　それで、その同じ家に留まっていて、家の人が出してくれるものを飲み食いしなさい。働き人がその報いを得るのは当然である。家から家へと渡り歩くな。

　どの町へはいっても、人々があなたがたを迎えてくれるなら、前に出されるものを食べなさい。

☆今日の『み言葉』

ルカによる福音 10:1-9

　今日の福音書で、イエスはわたしたちに要請する。「収穫は多いが、働き手が少ない。働き手を送ってくださるよう、収穫の主に願いなさい。」

　イエスは、救いを待つ人々を目の当たりにして、嘆息する。「働き手が少ない！！」と。このイエスの願いに「わたしをお使いください。」と、申し出るのが、受洗者。寛大に自分を差し出すことが受洗者の務め。イエスの手足となって、サービスに専念していくことが求められる。

　その時の心構えとして、わたしを前面に押し出さないこと、常にイエスが前に出ていることが必要。そうでなければ、イエスの危惧が現実化してしまう。「わたしがあなたがたを遣わす。それは、狼の群れの中に小羊を送り込むようなものだ。」その人が前面に押し出され、自分がやっているのだと錯覚した時、狼（悪魔）の餌食と化してしまうから。

　イエスの要請に応え、「収穫の主に、働き手をお送りください。」と、父なる神に嘆願すると同時に、「わたしをお使いください。」と差し出す勇気を祈り求めましょう。

　そして彼らに言われた、「全世界に出て行って、すべての造られたものに福音を宣べ伝えよ。

　信じてバプテスマを受ける者は救われる。しかし、不信仰の者は罪に定められる。

　信じる者には、このようなしるしが伴う。すなわち、彼らはわたしの名で悪霊を追い出し、新しい言葉を語り、

　へびをつかむであろう。また、毒を飲んでも、決して害を受けない。病人に手をおけば、いやされる」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 16:15-18

　今日は、教会典礼と共に使徒聖パウロの回心を祝います。この方の名はサウロ、ラテン語ではパウロと言われています。彼はタルソス出身の本格的なユダヤ人でありました。少年の時からエルサレムに遊学し、ガマリエルの膝下に、モーゼの律法や旧約聖書などをみっちり学んで、狂信的なユダヤ教徒となりました。そのために、祖先伝来の習慣や考え方と違うキリスト教を蛇蝎ごとくきらい、その教会を絶滅させる事こそ自分の使命だと考えるようになりました。

　ところでダマスコの有名な出来事は彼の回心の土台となりました。「サウロ、サウロ、どうして私を迫害するのか」光線の中からおごそかな声が響いた。「主よ、あなたは誰ですか」とサウロはおそれるその声に問いかけました。「私はお前の迫害するイエスです。そのとき信仰の光がサウロの心の中をくまなく照らされました。この恩恵のちぎりに、サウロの霊魂を固く閉ざしたからは粉々に砕かれ、以前の古いサウロは新しいパウロに生まれ変わりました。自分が違っていた事に気づくと、パウロはじっとしていませんでした。過去を反省すると同時に、新しい理想を目指して進もうとする行動の人でした。すぐに彼は聞き返したのです。「主よ、私はどうしたらいいのでしょうか」、立って町へ行きなさい。お前のなすべき事はそこで知らせるであろう。パウロはこの答えに力を得え、立ち上がりました。

　ダマスコでパウロはまる三日の間、何も食べずに、断食をしながら、深い痛快の涙と共に熱心な祈りを捧げました。その後、キリストの名を伝えるために、選んだ器となりました。その翌日からパウロはユダヤ教の会堂に出かけて、キリストが神の子であり、救い主である事をのべ始めました。

　パウロの回心の物語は、私達を大きな希望で満たします。彼はイエスの弟子を迫害し、非常に重大な過ちを犯していました。それにもかかわらずイエスは彼をあわれみ、全時代を超える最も偉大な聖人の一人とされました。彼の回心は、イエスの憐みと恵みが最悪の罪人さえも新しく造り変えてしまうという励ましのしるしです。恵みは律法の業や自分の功徳に左右されず、ユダヤ人と異邦人の差別なく、あらゆる人、あらゆる時代に及びます。

　そこで彼は言葉をついで言った、「わたしはキリキヤのタルソで生れたユダヤ人であるが、この都で育てられ、ガマリエルのひざもとで先祖伝来の律法について、きびしい薫陶を受け、今日の皆さんと同じく神に対して熱心な者であった。

　そして、この道を迫害し、男であれ女であれ、縛りあげて獄に投じ、彼らを死に至らせた。

　そこで主が彼に言われた、「立って、『真すぐ』という名の路地に行き、ユダの家でサウロというタルソ人を尋ねなさい。彼はいま祈っている。

　彼はアナニヤという人がはいってきて、手を自分の上において再び見えるようにしてくれるのを、幻で見たのである」。

　アナニヤは答えた、「主よ、あの人がエルサレムで、どんなにひどい事をあなたの聖徒たちにしたかについては、多くの人たちから聞いています。

　そして彼はここでも、御名をとなえる者たちをみな捕縛する権を、祭司長たちから得てきているのです」。

　しかし、主は仰せになった、「さあ、行きなさい。あの人は、異邦人たち、王たち、またイスラエルの子らにも、わたしの名を伝える器として、わたしが選んだ者である。

　わたしの名のために彼がどんなに苦しまなければならないかを、彼に知らせよう」。

　そこでアナニヤは、出かけて行ってその家にはいり、手をサウロの上において言った、「兄弟サウロよ、あなたが来る途中で現れた主イエスは、あなたが再び見えるようになるため、そして聖霊に満たされるために、わたしをここにおつかわしになったのです」。

　するとたちどころに、サウロの目から、うろこのようなものが落ちて、元どおり見えるようになった。そこで彼は立ってバプテスマを受け、

　また食事をとって元気を取りもどした。
サウロは、ダマスコにいる弟子たちと共に数日間を過ごしてから、

　ただちに諸会堂でイエスのことを宣べ伝え、このイエスこそ神の子であると説きはじめた。

　これを聞いた人たちはみな非常に驚いて言った、「あれは、エルサレムでこの名をとなえる者たちを苦しめた男ではないか。その上ここにやってきたのも、彼らを縛りあげて、祭司長たちのところへひっぱって行くためではなかったか」。

　しかし、サウロはますます力が加わり、このイエスがキリストであることを論証して、ダマスコに住むユダヤ人たちを言い伏せた。

12 One Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well reported of by all the Jews who lived in Damascus,

13 came to me, and standing by me said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight!’ In that very hour I looked up at him.

14 He said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.

15 For you will be a witness for him to all men of what you have seen and heard.

16 Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptised, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’

6 But† rise up, and enter into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

7 The men who travelled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.

8 Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one. They led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

9 He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.

10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!”
He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.”

11 The Lord said to him, “Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judah‡ for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

12 and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”

13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.

14 Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

15 But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

17 Ananias departed, and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me, that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

18 Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptised.

19 He took food and was strengthened. Saul stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.

20 Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that he is the Son of God.

21 All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

22 But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 3:7-12

　イエスの召命（の自覚）にもし、プロセスがあるとすると、一体どんなものだったのでしょうか？理想の自分と現実の自分の間に罪に関わる葛藤はなかったものの、「神の子」と呼ばれるという自己超越の段階へ一足飛びで向かうことに待ったをかけられる様子が今日の福音で述べられています。神の子として生きることがイエスの召命とするなら、彼はそのプロセスを自らの成熟の道程ととらえていたのかもしれません。自らの類ない召命の完成にむけて、癒しや交わりそして神からの良き知らせを宣言するといった毎日の積み重ねを大事にされた姿が伝わってきます。イエスはまだまだ、他の町や村に行かなくてはいけないのです。まだまだ多くの人に神の愛を伝えなくてはいけないのです。イエス自身の成功や挫折もそこには織り交ざっていることでしょう。喜びも悲しみも、心地よさも疲れもひっくるめて、イエスは全部受け入れることを良しとしました。自己超越の体験のまえに十字架があって、その道を今日も歩まれるイエスにわたしの小さな歩みを重ねたいと思います。きっと力がいただけると信じながら。

ヘブル人への手紙 7:25--8:6

　そこでまた、彼は、いつも生きていて彼らのためにとりなしておられるので、彼によって神に来る人々を、いつも救うことができるのである。

　このように、聖にして、悪も汚れもなく、罪人とは区別され、かつ、もろもろの天よりも高くされている大祭司こそ、わたしたちにとってふさわしいかたである。

7:27
　彼は、ほかの大祭司のように、まず自分の罪のため、次に民の罪のために、日々、いけにえをささげる必要はない。なぜなら、自分をささげて、一度だけ、それをされたからである。

　律法は、弱さを身に負う人間を立てて大祭司とするが、律法の後にきた誓いの御言は、永遠に全うされた御子を立てて、大祭司としたのである。

　以上述べたことの要点は、このような大祭司がわたしたちのためにおられ、天にあって大能者の御座の右に座し、

　おおよそ、大祭司が立てられるのは、供え物やいけにえをささげるためにほかならない。したがって、この大祭司もまた、何かささぐべき物を持っておられねばならない。

　そこで、もし彼が地上におられたなら、律法にしたがって供え物をささげる祭司たちが、現にいるのだから、彼は祭司ではあり得なかったであろう。

　彼らは、天にある聖所のひな型と影とに仕えている者にすぎない。それについては、モーセが幕屋を建てようとしたとき、御告げを受け、「山で示された型どおりに、注意してそのいっさいを作りなさい」と言われたのである。

　ところがキリストは、はるかにすぐれた務を得られたのである。それは、さらにまさった約束に基いて立てられた、さらにまさった契約の仲保者となられたことによる。

Gospel : Mark 3:7-12

7 Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,

8 from Jerusalem, from Idumaea, beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came to him.

9 He spoke to his disciples that a little boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they wouldn’t press on him.

10 For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.

11 The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, “You are the Son of God!”

12 He sternly warned them that they should not make him known.

Hebrews 7:25--8:6

7:25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

26 For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

27 who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

28 For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.

8:1 Now in the things which we are saying, the main point is this. We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

2 a servant of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.

3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer.

4 For if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, seeing there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law;

5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses was warned by God when he was about to make the tabernacle, for he said, “See, you shall make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.”☆

6 But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.

　すると、イエスは片手のなえたその人に、「立って、中へ出てきなさい」と言い、

　人々にむかって、「安息日に善を行うのと悪を行うのと、命を救うのと殺すのと、どちらがよいか」と言われた。彼らは黙っていた。

　イエスは怒りを含んで彼らを見まわし、その心のかたくななのを嘆いて、その人に「手を伸ばしなさい」と言われた。そこで手を伸ばすと、その手は元どおりになった。

　パリサイ人たちは出て行って、すぐにヘロデ党の者たちと、なんとかしてイエスを殺そうと相談しはじめた。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 3:1-6

　今日の福音は、マルコ独特のイエス描写が印象的です。「イエスは怒って人々を見回し、彼らのかたくなな心を悲しみながら・・・」イエスは怒りを感じています。そして怒りのこもったまなざしで人々を見回します。「イエスが怒るのはちょっと都合が悪い・・・」と思われる方もいらっしゃると思いますが、イエスも怒るのです。では、何に対して怒ったのか。人々のかたくなな心に対して。

　では、かたくなさとは何か。人々のかたくなさとは、恐らくこういうことではないかと思います。人々も、ファリサイ派の人々も、ヘロデ派の人々も、イエスの問い「安息日に律法で許されているのは、善を行うことか、悪を行うことか。命を救うことか、殺すことか。」に対する答えを知っているのです。もちろん、善を行うことであり、命を救うことです。こんなことは誰でも分かる。しかし、彼らは「黙っていた。」イエスを陥れるために。彼らの中にはそれ以外の思いはありません。片手が萎えて何年も辛い思いをしてきた人のことは眼中にありません。いや、むしろ、その人の辛い人生を利用してイエスを試し、陥れようとしているのです。イエスの怒りはこの心のかたくなさに向けられていると考えられます。

　私たちの心の動きに、似たようなことはないかどうか、もう一度反省したいものです。

　ある安息日に、イエスは麦畑の中をとおって行かれた。そのとき弟子たちが、歩きながら穂をつみはじめた。

　すると、パリサイ人たちがイエスに言った、「いったい、彼らはなぜ、安息日にしてはならぬことをするのですか」。

　そこで彼らに言われた、「あなたがたは、ダビデとその供の者たちとが食物がなくて飢えたとき、ダビデが何をしたか、まだ読んだことがないのか。

　すなわち、大祭司アビアタルの時、神の家にはいって、祭司たちのほか食べてはならぬ供えのパンを、自分も食べ、また供の者たちにも与えたではないか」。

　また彼らに言われた、「安息日は人のためにあるもので、人が安息日のためにあるのではない。

　それだから、人の子は、安息日にもまた主なのである」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 2:23-28

　安息日に守らなければならない規則がたくさんあります。なぜでしょう。今日、わたしたちは主イエスが語る言葉に耳を傾けています。安息日は、人のために定められた。人が安息日のためにあるのではない」と。いつだったか「正しいことも愛をもって行いなさい」という言葉が心に響きました。正しいことを規則通りに、決まっていることとして行うだけでなく、愛をもって・・・というのが大切でしょう。わたしたちは主イエスの言葉に耳を傾けます。安息日の主でありますから。

マルコによる福音 2:23-28

2:23
　ある安息日に、イエスは麦畑の中をとおって行かれた。そのとき弟子たちが、歩きながら穂をつみはじめた。

2:24
　すると、パリサイ人たちがイエスに言った、「いったい、彼らはなぜ、安息日にしてはならぬことをするのですか」。

2:25
　そこで彼らに言われた、「あなたがたは、ダビデとその供の者たちとが食物がなくて飢えたとき、ダビデが何をしたか、まだ読んだことがないのか。

2:26
　すなわち、大祭司アビアタルの時、神の家にはいって、祭司たちのほか食べてはならぬ供えのパンを、自分も食べ、また供の者たちにも与えたではないか」。

2:27
　また彼らに言われた、「安息日は人のためにあるもので、人が安息日のためにあるのではない。

2:28
　それだから、人の子は、安息日にもまた主なのである」。

ヘブル人への手紙 6:10-20

6:10
　神は不義なかたではないから、あなたがたの働きや、あなたがたがかつて聖徒に仕え、今もなお仕えて、御名のために示してくれた愛を、お忘れになることはない。

6:11
　わたしたちは、あなたがたがひとり残らず、最後まで望みを持ちつづけるためにも、同じ熱意を示し、

6:12
　怠ることがなく、信仰と忍耐とをもって約束のものを受け継ぐ人々に見習う者となるように、と願ってやまない。

6:13
　さて、神がアブラハムに対して約束されたとき、さして誓うのに、ご自分よりも上のものがないので、ご自分をさして誓って、

6:14
　「わたしは、必ずあなたを祝福し、必ずあなたの子孫をふやす」と言われた。

6:15
　このようにして、アブラハムは忍耐強く待ったので、約束のものを得たのである。

6:16
　いったい、人間は自分より上のものをさして誓うのであり、そして、その誓いはすべての反対論を封じる保証となるのである。

6:17
　そこで、神は、約束のものを受け継ぐ人々に、ご計画の不変であることを、いっそうはっきり示そうと思われ、誓いによって保証されたのである。

6:18
　それは、偽ることのあり得ない神に立てられた二つの不変の事がらによって、前におかれている望みを捕えようとして世をのがれてきたわたしたちが、力強い励ましを受けるためである。

6:19
　この望みは、わたしたちにとって、いわば、たましいを安全にし不動にする錨であり、かつ「幕の内」にはいり行かせるものである。

6:20
　その幕の内に、イエスは、永遠にメルキゼデクに等しい大祭司として、わたしたちのためにさきがけとなって、はいられたのである。

Gospel : Mark 2:23-28

23 He was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.

24 The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”

25 He said to them, “Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry?he, and those who were with him?

26 How he entered into God’s house when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”

27 He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

28 Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”

Hebrews 6:10-20

10 For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labour of love which you showed towards his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.

11 We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,

12 that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherited the promises.

13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself,

14 saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”☆

15 Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

16 For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.

17 In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;

18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;

20 where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

☆今日の聖書物語 *

マルコによる福音 2:18-22

　ヨハネの弟子とパリサイ人とは、断食をしていた。そこで人々がきて、イエスに言った、「ヨハネの弟子たちとパリサイ人の弟子たちとが断食をしているのに、あなたの弟子たちは、なぜ断食をしないのですか」。

　するとイエスは言われた、「婚礼の客は、花婿が一緒にいるのに、断食ができるであろうか。花婿と一緒にいる間は、断食はできない。

　しかし、花婿が奪い去られる日が来る。その日には断食をするであろう。

　だれも、真新しい布ぎれを、古い着物に縫いつけはしない。もしそうすれば、新しいつぎは古い着物を引き破り、そして、破れがもっとひどくなる。

　まただれも、新しいぶどう酒を古い皮袋に入れはしない。もしそうすれば、ぶどう酒は皮袋をはり裂き、そして、ぶどう酒も皮袋もむだになってしまう。〔だから、新しいぶどう酒は新しい皮袋に入れるべきである〕」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 2:18-22

　今日の福音の前半部分「どうして断食しないのか」というくだりは、直前の記事（土曜日の福音箇所）の「どうして罪人と一緒に食事をするのか」という内容と呼応しています。

　それぞれの主語は「あなたの弟子たち」と「彼＝イエス」となっていますから、イエスと人々とが食事を共にすることの理由が双方の視点から問われ、また答えられていることになります。ですから、そういった視点から改めて良く読み込んでいき、イエスと食事を共にすること、即ちミサとは一体何であるかをじっくりと考えてみるといいでしょう。

　また後半部分では、この方法が新しい時代に向けた新しいやり方であるということが説かれています。旧約の象徴とも言える洗礼者ヨハネの時代からイエスによる救いの時代へと移り変わって行くとき、今までとは違った新しい方法が選ばれました。そして、この移り変わりは「遠い過去の一回限りの出来事」ではなく、一人ひとりに救いが訪れるときに幾度となく繰り返されていくことですから、救いを体験した人は今までとは違った、新しい生き方を選び取って行くようになります。

　ですから、救いとは何かを受けるばかりではなく、自らが生き方を変えて行くことにあるとも言えるのではないでしょうか。
