☆今日の聖書物語 *

ルカによる福音 15:1-3, 11-32

　さて、取税人や罪人たちが皆、イエスの話を聞こうとして近寄ってきた。

　するとパリサイ人や律法学者たちがつぶやいて、「この人は罪人たちを迎えて一緒に食事をしている」と言った。

　そこでイエスは彼らに、この譬をお話しになった、

　また言われた、「ある人に、ふたりのむすこがあった。

　ところが、弟が父親に言った、『父よ、あなたの財産のうちでわたしがいただく分をください』。そこで、父はその身代をふたりに分けてやった。

　それから幾日もたたないうちに、弟は自分のものを全部とりまとめて遠い所へ行き、そこで放蕩に身を持ちくずして財産を使い果した。

　何もかも浪費してしまったのち、その地方にひどいききんがあったので、彼は食べることにも窮しはじめた。

　そこで、その地方のある住民のところに行って身を寄せたところが、その人は彼を畑にやって豚を飼わせた。

　彼は、豚の食べるいなご豆で腹を満たしたいと思うほどであったが、何もくれる人はなかった。

　そこで彼は本心に立ちかえって言った、『父のところには食物のあり余っている雇人が大ぜいいるのに、わたしはここで飢えて死のうとしている。

　立って、父のところへ帰って、こう言おう、父よ、わたしは天に対しても、あなたにむかっても、罪を犯しました。

　もう、あなたのむすこと呼ばれる資格はありません。どうぞ、雇人のひとり同様にしてください』。

　そこで立って、父のところへ出かけた。まだ遠く離れていたのに、父は彼をみとめ、哀れに思って走り寄り、その首をだいて接吻した。

　むすこは父に言った、『父よ、わたしは天に対しても、あなたにむかっても、罪を犯しました。もうあなたのむすこと呼ばれる資格はありません』。

　しかし父は僕たちに言いつけた、『さあ、早く、最上の着物を出してきてこの子に着せ、指輪を手にはめ、はきものを足にはかせなさい。

　また、肥えた子牛を引いてきてほふりなさい。食べて楽しもうではないか。

　このむすこが死んでいたのに生き返り、いなくなっていたのに見つかったのだから』。それから祝宴がはじまった。

　ところが、兄は畑にいたが、帰ってきて家に近づくと、音楽や踊りの音が聞えたので、

　ひとりの僕を呼んで、『いったい、これは何事なのか』と尋ねた。

　僕は答えた、『あなたのご兄弟がお帰りになりました。無事に迎えたというので、父上が肥えた子牛をほふらせなさったのです』。

　兄はおこって家にはいろうとしなかったので、父が出てきてなだめると、

　兄は父にむかって言った、『わたしは何か年もあなたに仕えて、一度でもあなたの言いつけにそむいたことはなかったのに、友だちと楽しむために子やぎ一匹も下さったことはありません。

　それだのに、遊女どもと一緒になって、あなたの身代を食いつぶしたこのあなたの子が帰ってくると、そのために肥えた子牛をほふりなさいました』。

　すると父は言った、『子よ、あなたはいつもわたしと一緒にいるし、またわたしのものは全部あなたのものだ。

　しかし、このあなたの弟は、死んでいたのに生き返り、いなくなっていたのに見つかったのだから、喜び祝うのはあたりまえである』」。

ルカによる福音 15:1-3, 11-32

15:1
　さて、取税人や罪人たちが皆、イエスの話を聞こうとして近寄ってきた。

15:2
　するとパリサイ人や律法学者たちがつぶやいて、「この人は罪人たちを迎えて一緒に食事をしている」と言った。

15:3
　そこでイエスは彼らに、この譬をお話しになった、

Gospel: Luke 15:1-3, 11-32

1 Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.

2 The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.”

3 He told them this parable.

11 He said, “A certain man had two sons.

12 The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of your property.’ He divided his livelihood between them.

13 Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and travelled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living.

14 When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need.

15 He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.

16 He wanted to fill his belly with the husks that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any.

17 But when he came to himself he said, ‘How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough to spare, and I’m dying with hunger!

18 I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.

19 I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants.”’

20 “He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.

23 Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;

24 for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ They began to celebrate.

25 “Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing.

26 He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on.

27 He said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.’

28 But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him.

29 But he answered his father, ‘Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.

30 But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.’

31 “He said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.

32 But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’”

9a The LORD said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt off of you.”

10 The children of Israel encamped in Gilgal. They kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening in the plains of Jericho.

11 They ate unleavened cakes and parched grain of the produce of the land on the next day after the Passover, in the same day.

12 The manna ceased on the next day, after they had eaten of the produce of the land. The children of Israel didn’t have manna any more; but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold,* all things have become new.

18 But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

　自分を義人だと自任して他人を見下げている人たちに対して、イエスはまたこの譬をお話しになった。

　「ふたりの人が祈るために宮に上った。そのひとりはパリサイ人であり、もうひとりは取税人であった。

　パリサイ人は立って、ひとりでこう祈った、『神よ、わたしはほかの人たちのような貪欲な者、不正な者、姦淫をする者ではなく、また、この取税人のような人間でもないことを感謝します。

　わたしは一週に二度断食しており、全収入の十分の一をささげています』。

　ところが、取税人は遠く離れて立ち、目を天にむけようともしないで、胸を打ちながら言った、『神様、罪人のわたしをおゆるしください』と。

　あなたがたに言っておく。神に義とされて自分の家に帰ったのは、この取税人であって、あのパリサイ人ではなかった。おおよそ、自分を高くする者は低くされ、自分を低くする者は高くされるであろう」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

ルカによる福音 18:9-14

　私たちはとかく、人と比べてしまいます。あぁ、あの人はいいなぁ。なんで自分はこんなについてないんだ。でもこれはまだかわいいほうです。あぁ、あんなのでなくてよかった、とか。自分のほうがましだなぁ、とか。こんな心の動きがあったら、少し用心しましょう！もし相手のうちにある宝を見つけきらないなら、それは自分の心が曇ってしまっているからかもしれません。神様は皆をその似姿に創られました。かならず誰でも神様からいただいた宝の輝きを持っているものです。ただ、それがうまく表現できなかったり、気づいていなかったり、気づいてもらえなかったり。

　神様、あなたからいただいた大切な心を曇らせてしまった。神様、あの人の中にある宝を十分に見つけてあげられなかった。だから、今私たちにできるのは、あの徴税人のように、『神様、わたしを憐れんでください。』と祈ることなのだろうと思います。

Gospel : Luke 18:9-14

9 He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.

10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.

11 The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: ‘God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

13 But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Hosea 6:1-6

1 “Come, and let us return to the LORD;
for he has torn us to pieces,
and he will heal us;
he has injured us,

マルコによる福音 12:28b-34

☆今日の『み言葉』

マルコによる福音 12:28b-34

　今日の福音における「あらゆる掟のうちでどれが第一か」という律法学者の質問に対してイエスは「神を愛することと隣人を愛すること」という答えで私たちに何が根本的なことか示されます。イエスの回答は複雑で理解困難なものではなく、簡潔で実際的です。神を愛することは抽象的なことではなく、具体的に私たち一人ひとりの身近にいる人を愛することから始まるということです。

　しかし、それは相手や自分の弱さ、自分の置かれている立場や過去のさまざまな出来事などが絡み合って近い存在であればあるほど難しいのかもしれません。だからこそ私たちは真摯に祈る(神に向かう）ことが必要なのでしょう。本気で隣人を愛そうと努力するなら祈りも本気の祈りに自然となっていくのかもしれません。

Gospel : Mark 12:28b-34

28b One of the scribes came, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”

29 Jesus answered, “The greatest is, ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:

30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’☆ This is the first commandment.

31 The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’☆ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,

33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.”

　さて、イエスが悪霊を追い出しておられた。それは、おしの霊であった。悪霊が出て行くと、おしが物を言うようになったので、群衆は不思議に思った。

　その中のある人々が、「彼は悪霊のかしらベルゼブルによって、悪霊どもを追い出しているのだ」と言い、

　またほかの人々は、イエスを試みようとして、天からのしるしを求めた。

　しかしイエスは、彼らの思いを見抜いて言われた、「おおよそ国が内部で分裂すれば自滅してしまい、また家が分れ争えば倒れてしまう。

　そこでサタンも内部で分裂すれば、その国はどうして立ち行けよう。あなたがたはわたしがベルゼブルによって悪霊を追い出していると言うが、

　もしわたしがベルゼブルによって悪霊を追い出すとすれば、あなたがたの仲間はだれによって追い出すのであろうか。だから、彼らがあなたがたをさばく者となるであろう。

　しかし、わたしが神の指によって悪霊を追い出しているのなら、神の国はすでにあなたがたのところにきたのである。

　強い人が十分に武装して自分の邸宅を守っている限り、その持ち物は安全である。

　しかし、もっと強い者が襲ってきて彼に打ち勝てば、その頼みにしていた武具を奪って、その分捕品を分けるのである。

　わたしの味方でない者は、わたしに反対するものであり、わたしと共に集めない者は、散らすものである。

☆今日の『み言葉』

ルカによる福音 11:14-23

　「わたしが神の指で悪霊を追い出しているのであれば、神の国はあなたたちのところに来ているのだ。」
　復活祭を準備する四旬節も半ばを迎えている。四旬節を迎えると断食、苦行、節制、犠牲などと、あまり歓迎したくないような言葉が飛びかいがちである。そして、実際にそうしたことを実行しているキリスト者が大勢いることと思う。

　しかし、断食、苦行、節制をし、犠牲を捧げたとしても、その人がすぐ傍の人をないがしろにしたり、その人の必要を知りながらも応えなかったりしたとすれば、その断食などの行為にはどんな意味があるだろうか。

　「神の国はあなたたちのところに来ている」、確かにそうだと思う。四旬節中には回心という言葉も盛んにつかわれる。そして、実際に生き方を１８０度方向転換する人とか、心を神に向け直す人がいる。素晴らしいことだと思う。しかし、もう一つ足りない。それは、エンジン(モーター)が回転することによって車が走るように、心を回転させるということである。

　イエス・キリストの大きな魅力は、福音をことばに止めることなく行動でも福音を説いたということである。多くの言葉を口にするよりキリストのように福音を生きる者になりたい。たとえ、苦しみがあったとしてもイエス・キリストとともにその苦しみを背負って生きる者は、イエス・キリストの復活にも与る者となることを信じて。

14 He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. When the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the multitudes marvelled.

15 But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”

16 Others, testing him, sought from him a sign from heaven.

17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.

18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

19 But if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore will they be your judges.

20 But if I by God’s finger cast out demons, then God’s Kingdom has come to you.

21 “When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe.

22 But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armour in which he trusted, and divides his plunder.

23 “He that is not with me is against me. He who doesn’t gather with me scatters.

マタイによる福音 5:17-19

　わたしが律法や預言者を廃するためにきた、と思ってはならない。廃するためではなく、成就するためにきたのである。

　よく言っておく。天地が滅び行くまでは、律法の一点、一画もすたることはなく、ことごとく全うされるのである。

　それだから、これらの最も小さいいましめの一つでも破り、またそうするように人に教えたりする者は、天国で最も小さい者と呼ばれるであろう。しかし、これをおこないまたそう教える者は、天国で大いなる者と呼ばれるであろう。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マタイによる福音 5:17-19

　たった一つの最も小さな掟を破るか、守るか。神の国においては、このほんの僅かな差が人々の評価に大きく影響するようです。「分っていても、努力していてさえも実行できないことが山ほどあるのに、たった一つ守れなかっただけで最も小さな者と呼ばれるなんて･･･私などとても神の国に入ることができないのでは」という嘆きの声が聞こえて来そうですが、どうか心配しないで。そういう方々こそ、神の国でお互いを支え合う必要があります。安心して神の国の建設に努めましょう。

　神の国で評価を下げる要素は、掟を破ることそのものよりも、むしろ、人にもそうするように勧める態度です。こういう人は掟や教えを守る努力はしません。自分の弱さを克服しようとしないので、神の助けを必要としません。救いを必要としません。神の国とは、神の御旨が行われる場(＝状態)のことで、つまりは救いが行き渡るための場(＝媒体)でもありますから、救いを求めていない人々に対しては充分に機能しないのです。ですから、「自分たちは正しい」と信じて止まないファリサイ派や律法学者は、神の国に「決して入ることはできない」(ﾏﾀｲ5章20節参照)と言われてしまいます。自分が相応しくないと思ったら、･･･その時こそチャンスです。

　そのとき、ペテロがイエスのもとにきて言った、「主よ、兄弟がわたしに対して罪を犯した場合、幾たびゆるさねばなりませんか。七たびまでですか」。

　イエスは彼に言われた、「わたしは七たびまでとは言わない。七たびを七十倍するまでにしなさい。

　それだから、天国は王が僕たちと決算をするようなものだ。

　決算が始まると、一万タラントの負債のある者が、王のところに連れられてきた。

　しかし、返せなかったので、主人は、その人自身とその妻子と持ち物全部とを売って返すように命じた。

　そこで、この僕はひれ伏して哀願した、『どうぞお待ちください。全部お返しいたしますから』。

　僕の主人はあわれに思って、彼をゆるし、その負債を免じてやった。

　その僕が出て行くと、百デナリを貸しているひとりの仲間に出会い、彼をつかまえ、首をしめて『借金を返せ』と言った。

　そこでこの仲間はひれ伏し、『どうか待ってくれ。返すから』と言って頼んだ。

　しかし承知せずに、その人をひっぱって行って、借金を返すまで獄に入れた。

　その人の仲間たちは、この様子を見て、非常に心をいため、行ってそのことをのこらず主人に話した。

　そこでこの主人は彼を呼びつけて言った、『悪い僕、わたしに願ったからこそ、あの負債を全部ゆるしてやったのだ。

　わたしがあわれんでやったように、あの仲間をあわれんでやるべきではなかったか』。

　そして主人は立腹して、負債全部を返してしまうまで、彼を獄吏に引きわたした。

　あなたがためいめいも、もし心から兄弟をゆるさないならば、わたしの天の父もまたあなたがたに対して、そのようになさるであろう」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マタイによる福音 18:21-35

　ペトロが主に質問します。「兄弟がわたしに対して罪を犯したなら、何回赦すべきでしょうか。７回までですか。」主は答えられます。「７回どころか７の70倍までも赦しなさい。」主が語られるのは神の憐れみの姿であります。どこまでも赦しなさいというメッセージを、わたしたちも毎日の生活の中で振り返り、心を高めてすごしていきたいものです。

　憐れみ深いという生き方は、神がわたしたちをいかに愛してくださっているかを、強く思い起こすものです。だからこそ、兄弟に対して赦さなければなりません。毎日の生活の出来事の中に、神の大事な恵みがあります。小さいところ、目に付かないところ、そこにこそ神の豊かさがかくされています。今日出会う人びと共に、神を賛美することができますように。

　アザルヤは立ち止まり、火の中で、口を開いて次のように祈った。

Gospel : Matthew 18:21-35

21 Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”

22 Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

23 Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.

24 When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.†

25 But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’

27 The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

28 “But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii,‡ and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’

29 “So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’

30 He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.

31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord called him in, and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.

33 Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’

34 His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him.

35 So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”

　六か月目に、御使ガブリエルが、神からつかわされて、ナザレというガリラヤの町の一処女のもとにきた。

　この処女はダビデ家の出であるヨセフという人のいいなづけになっていて、名をマリヤといった。

　御使がマリヤのところにきて言った、「恵まれた女よ、おめでとう、主があなたと共におられます」。

　この言葉にマリヤはひどく胸騒ぎがして、このあいさつはなんの事であろうかと、思いめぐらしていた。

　すると御使が言った、「恐れるな、マリヤよ、あなたは神から恵みをいただいているのです。

　見よ、あなたはみごもって男の子を産むでしょう。その子をイエスと名づけなさい。

　彼は大いなる者となり、いと高き者の子と、となえられるでしょう。そして、主なる神は彼に父ダビデの王座をお与えになり、

　彼はとこしえにヤコブの家を支配し、その支配は限りなく続くでしょう」。

　そこでマリヤは御使に言った、「どうして、そんな事があり得ましょうか。わたしにはまだ夫がありませんのに」。

　御使が答えて言った、「聖霊があなたに臨み、いと高き者の力があなたをおおうでしょう。それゆえに、生れ出る子は聖なるものであり、神の子と、となえられるでしょう。

☆今日の『み言葉』

ルカによる福音 1:26-38

　今日は、「イエスの母となる」と言う神のメッセージが、天使ガブリエルによってマリアに告げられたことを記念する日です。

　当時、自分が救い主の母になるかもしれないと、ナザレの女性たちはひそかな期待を持っていたようですが、マリアにはそのような考えはありませんでした。「なのに」、「どうして」という戸惑いがマリアにありました。

　「聖霊があなたに降り、いと高き方の力があなたを包む」。天使のこの言葉を耳にした時、神のメッセージは引き受けられました。

　わたしたちは、本当に有り難いことだと胸を撫ぜおろしますが、それに続く数々のマリアの苦労には気づかされません。神の考えのすべてを心底から納得されたのは、おん子が息を引き取った時だったでしょうか。聖霊が降臨した時でしょうか。体の腐敗を免れておん子のもとに行かれた時でしょうか。

　その間、マリアを支えた信仰を、わたしたちの生活に反映させる恵みをいただきたいものです。

Gospel : Luke 1:26-38

26 Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, of David’s house. The virgin’s name was Mary.

28 Having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, you highly favoured one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you amongst women!”

29 But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered what kind of salutation this might be.

30 The angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God.

31 Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and give birth to a son, and will call his name ‘Jesus.’

32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David,

33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his Kingdom.”

34 Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?”

35 The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.

36 Behold, Elizabeth, your relative, also has conceived a son in her old age; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.

37 For nothing spoken by God is impossible.Ӡ

38 Mary said, “Behold, the servant of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.”
The angel departed from her.


†1:37: or, “For everything spoken by God is possible.”

7:10 The LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,

11 “Ask a sign of the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.”

12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.”

13 He said, “Listen now, house of David. Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God also?

14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.*

8 Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),

9 then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,

10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

出エジプト 3:1-8a, 13-15

3:1
　モーセは妻の父、ミデヤンの祭司エテロの羊の群れを飼っていたが、その群れを荒野の奥に導いて、神の山ホレブにきた。

3:2
　ときに主の使は、しばの中の炎のうちに彼に現れた。彼が見ると、しばは火に燃えているのに、そのしばはなくならなかった。

3:3
　モーセは言った、「行ってこの大きな見ものを見、なぜしばが燃えてしまわないかを知ろう」。

3:4
　主は彼がきて見定ようとするのを見、神はしばの中から彼を呼んで、「モーセよ、モーセよ」と言われた。彼は「ここにいます」と言った。

3:5
　神は言われた、「ここに近づいてはいけない。足からくつを脱ぎなさい。あなたが立っているその場所は聖なる地だからである」。

Gospel: Luke 13:1-9

1 Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

2 Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things?

3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.

4 Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?

5 I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.”

6 He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.

7 He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’

8 He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it, and fertilise it.

9 If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

Exodus 3:1-8a, 13-15

1 Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.

2 The LORD’s* angel appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burnt with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3 Moses said, “I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.”
4 When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses! Moses!”
He said, “Here I am.”

5 He said, “Don’t come close. Take your sandals off of your feet, for the place you are standing on is holy ground.”

Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look at God.

7 The LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

8 I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

13 Moses said to God, “Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you;’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What should I tell them?”

14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

15 God said moreover to Moses, “You shall tell the children of Israel this, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.

　さて、取税人や罪人たちが皆、イエスの話を聞こうとして近寄ってきた。

　するとパリサイ人や律法学者たちがつぶやいて、「この人は罪人たちを迎えて一緒に食事をしている」と言った。

　そこでイエスは彼らに、この譬をお話しになった、

　また言われた、「ある人に、ふたりのむすこがあった。

　ところが、弟が父親に言った、『父よ、あなたの財産のうちでわたしがいただく分をください』。そこで、父はその身代をふたりに分けてやった。

　それから幾日もたたないうちに、弟は自分のものを全部とりまとめて遠い所へ行き、そこで放蕩に身を持ちくずして財産を使い果した。

　何もかも浪費してしまったのち、その地方にひどいききんがあったので、彼は食べることにも窮しはじめた。

　そこで、その地方のある住民のところに行って身を寄せたところが、その人は彼を畑にやって豚を飼わせた。

　彼は、豚の食べるいなご豆で腹を満たしたいと思うほどであったが、何もくれる人はなかった。

　そこで彼は本心に立ちかえって言った、『父のところには食物のあり余っている雇人が大ぜいいるのに、わたしはここで飢えて死のうとしている。

　立って、父のところへ帰って、こう言おう、父よ、わたしは天に対しても、あなたにむかっても、罪を犯しました。

　もう、あなたのむすこと呼ばれる資格はありません。どうぞ、雇人のひとり同様にしてください』。

　そこで立って、父のところへ出かけた。まだ遠く離れていたのに、父は彼をみとめ、哀れに思って走り寄り、その首をだいて接吻した。

　むすこは父に言った、『父よ、わたしは天に対しても、あなたにむかっても、罪を犯しました。もうあなたのむすこと呼ばれる資格はありません』。

　しかし父は僕たちに言いつけた、『さあ、早く、最上の着物を出してきてこの子に着せ、指輪を手にはめ、はきものを足にはかせなさい。

　また、肥えた子牛を引いてきてほふりなさい。食べて楽しもうではないか。

　このむすこが死んでいたのに生き返り、いなくなっていたのに見つかったのだから』。それから祝宴がはじまった。

　ところが、兄は畑にいたが、帰ってきて家に近づくと、音楽や踊りの音が聞えたので、

　ひとりの僕を呼んで、『いったい、これは何事なのか』と尋ねた。

　僕は答えた、『あなたのご兄弟がお帰りになりました。無事に迎えたというので、父上が肥えた子牛をほふらせなさったのです』。

　兄はおこって家にはいろうとしなかったので、父が出てきてなだめると、

　兄は父にむかって言った、『わたしは何か年もあなたに仕えて、一度でもあなたの言いつけにそむいたことはなかったのに、友だちと楽しむために子やぎ一匹も下さったことはありません。

　それだのに、遊女どもと一緒になって、あなたの身代を食いつぶしたこのあなたの子が帰ってくると、そのために肥えた子牛をほふりなさいました』。

　すると父は言った、『子よ、あなたはいつもわたしと一緒にいるし、またわたしのものは全部あなたのものだ。

　しかし、このあなたの弟は、死んでいたのに生き返り、いなくなっていたのに見つかったのだから、喜び祝うのはあたりまえである』」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

ルカによる福音 15:1-3, 11-32

　四旬節第２週の終わりの日を迎えた私たちに、教会は広い心、温かい心の持ち主へ軌道修正するように呼びかけ、有名な「いつくしみ深い父親のたとえ話」を読み聞かせます。

　かたくなで、正義感に強く、自分の非は認めたくなく、軽く人を非難する傾きを持つ私たちに、かかわる人の弱さを大目に見て、ゆるし、受け入れて行くように勧めてくれます。日常の営みを振り返るとき、兄さんの生き方をしているなぁとおもいます。正義感が強く、「これが悪い。あれが悪い。」と批判ばかりして、かかわる人を受け入れていない私がいる。かたくなに父なる神の誘いを拒み続ける私がいる。

　そんな私に父なる神は「弟のように素直になりなさい。そんなに片意地張ってがむしゃらに生きなくてもいいじゃない？そんなに強がらなくってもいいじゃない？もっと自分の弱さを認めて、助けを求めたら、どう？」こんな問いかけをされているような気がします。

Gospel : Luke 15:1-3, 11-32

1 Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.

2 The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.”

3 He told them this parable.

11 He said, “A certain man had two sons.

12 The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of your property.’ He divided his livelihood between them.

13 Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and travelled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living.

14 When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need.

15 He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.

16 He wanted to fill his belly with the husks that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any.

17 But when he came to himself he said, ‘How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough to spare, and I’m dying with hunger!

18 I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.

19 I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants.”’

20 “He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.

23 Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate;

24 for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ They began to celebrate.

25 “Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing.

26 He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on.

27 He said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.’

28 But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him.

29 But he answered his father, ‘Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.

30 But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.’

31 “He said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.

32 But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’”

Micah 7:14-15, 18-20

14 Shepherd your people with your staff,
the flock of your heritage,
who dwell by themselves in a forest,
in the middle of fertile pasture land, let them feed;
in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

15 “As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt,
I will show them marvellous things.”

18 Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity,
and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage?
He doesn’t retain his anger forever,
because he delights in loving kindness.

☆今日の聖書物語 *

マタイによる福音 21:33-43, 45-46

　もう一つの譬を聞きなさい。ある所に、ひとりの家の主人がいたが、ぶどう園を造り、かきをめぐらし、その中に酒ぶねの穴を掘り、やぐらを立て、それを農夫たちに貸して、旅に出かけた。

　収穫の季節がきたので、その分け前を受け取ろうとして、僕たちを農夫のところへ送った。

　すると、農夫たちは、その僕たちをつかまえて、ひとりを袋だたきにし、ひとりを殺し、もうひとりを石で打ち殺した。

　また別に、前よりも多くの僕たちを送ったが、彼らをも同じようにあしらった。

　しかし、最後に、わたしの子は敬ってくれるだろうと思って、主人はその子を彼らの所につかわした。

　すると農夫たちは、その子を見て互に言った、『あれはあと取りだ。さあ、これを殺して、その財産を手に入れよう』。

　そして彼をつかまえて、ぶどう園の外に引き出して殺した。

　このぶどう園の主人が帰ってきたら、この農夫たちをどうするだろうか」。

　彼らはイエスに言った、「悪人どもを、皆殺しにして、季節ごとに収穫を納めるほかの農夫たちに、そのぶどう園を貸し与えるでしょう」。

　イエスは彼らに言われた、「あなたがたは、聖書でまだ読んだことがないのか、
『家造りらの捨てた石が
隅のかしら石になった。
これは主がなされたことで、
わたしたちの目には不思議に見える』。

　それだから、あなたがたに言うが、神の国はあなたがたから取り上げられて、御国にふさわしい実を結ぶような異邦人に与えられるであろう。

　祭司長たちやパリサイ人たちがこの譬を聞いたとき、自分たちのことをさして言っておられることを悟ったので、

　イエスを捕えようとしたが、群衆を恐れた。群衆はイエスを預言者だと思っていたからである。

☆今日の『み言葉』

マタイによる福音 21:33-43, 45-46

　このたとえ話は、農夫たちの残虐な姿が読む人に強烈な印象を与えます。収穫を受けるために送られた僕たちを次から次へと殺し、最後には跡取り息子までもぶどう園に連れ出して殺してしまいます。実に残酷な話です。

　イエスはまるで敵意とか残虐さなど、人間の醜い部分を強調しているかのように思えます。確かに人間の内面にはこのような一面が隠れているように思います。

　歴史を振り返って見ても、ナチスのホロコースト、ユーゴスラビアやウガンダ等の民族間の虐殺行為、あるいは宗教や思想の違い等から起こった殺戮、そして無差別に行われるテロ行為等、人間の尊厳を無視するかのような残虐な行為がいつの時代も繰り返されてきました。

　このような事を見るときに、「人間とはどこまで醜い存在なのか」ということを思いたくなります。しかし、それに対してイエスの人間としての姿というのは、私たちに人間の持つもう一面を示しておられます。それは愛に生きる美しい姿です。憐れみをもって、貧しい人たちや苦しむ人たちに手を差しのべられ、私たちのためにご自分の命までも惜しみなく与えられたイエスの姿は「人間とはなんて素晴らしい存在なのか」ということを思わされます。

　私たちも人を思いやり、命を尊重する豊かな人間性を持つために、イエスのように神を求め続けていかなければならないと思います。それは人間が最も人間らしく生きることができるのは神の力にほかならないからです。

　ヨセフは年寄り子であったから、イスラエルは他のどの子よりも彼を愛して、彼のために長そでの着物をつくった。

　兄弟たちは父がどの兄弟よりも彼を愛するのを見て、彼を憎み、穏やかに彼に語ることができなかった。

　さて兄弟たちがシケムに行って、父の羊の群れを飼っていたとき、

Gospel : Matthew 21:33-43, 45-46

33 “Hear another parable. There was a man who was a master of a household, who planted a vineyard, set a hedge about it, dug a wine press in it, built a tower, leased it out to farmers, and went into another country.

34 When the season for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the farmers, to receive his fruit.

35 The farmers took his servants, beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they treated them the same way.

37 But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

38 But the farmers, when they saw the son, said amongst themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’

39 So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”

41 They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers, who will give him the fruit in its season.”

42 Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures,
‘The stone which the builders rejected,
the same was made the head of the corner.
This was from the Lord.
It is marvellous in our eyes?’☆

43 “Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke about them. 46 When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.

22 Reuben said to them, “Shed no blood. Throw him into this pit that is in the wilderness, but lay no hand on him”?that he might deliver him out of their hand, to restore him to his father.

23 When Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped Joseph of his coat, the coat of many colours that was on him;

24 and they took him, and threw him into the pit. The pit was empty. There was no water in it.

25 They sat down to eat bread, and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites was coming from Gilead, with their camels bearing spices and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.

26 Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it if we kill our brother and conceal his blood?

27 Come, and let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites, and not let our hand be on him; for he is our brother, our flesh.” His brothers listened to him.

28a Midianites who were merchants passed by, and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver.

☆今日の聖書物語 *

ルカによる福音 16:19-31

　ある金持がいた。彼は紫の衣や細布を着て、毎日ぜいたくに遊び暮していた。

　ところが、ラザロという貧乏人が全身でき物でおおわれて、この金持の玄関の前にすわり、

　その食卓から落ちるもので飢えをしのごうと望んでいた。その上、犬がきて彼のでき物をなめていた。

　この貧乏人がついに死に、御使たちに連れられてアブラハムのふところに送られた。金持も死んで葬られた。

　そして黄泉にいて苦しみながら、目をあげると、アブラハムとそのふところにいるラザロとが、はるかに見えた。

　そこで声をあげて言った、『父、アブラハムよ、わたしをあわれんでください。ラザロをおつかわしになって、その指先を水でぬらし、わたしの舌を冷やさせてください。わたしはこの火炎の中で苦しみもだえています』。

　アブラハムが言った、『子よ、思い出すがよい。あなたは生前よいものを受け、ラザロの方は悪いものを受けた。しかし今ここでは、彼は慰められ、あなたは苦しみもだえている。

　そればかりか、わたしたちとあなたがたとの間には大きな淵がおいてあって、こちらからあなたがたの方へ渡ろうと思ってもできないし、そちらからわたしたちの方へ越えて来ることもできない』。

　そこで金持が言った、『父よ、ではお願いします。わたしの父の家へラザロをつかわしてください。

　わたしに五人の兄弟がいますので、こんな苦しい所へ来ることがないように、彼らに警告していただきたいのです』。

　アブラハムは言った、『彼らにはモーセと預言者とがある。それに聞くがよかろう』。

　金持が言った、『いえいえ、父アブラハムよ、もし死人の中からだれかが兄弟たちのところへ行ってくれましたら、彼らは悔い改めるでしょう』。

　アブラハムは言った、『もし彼らがモーセと預言者とに耳を傾けないなら、死人の中からよみがえってくる者があっても、彼らはその勧めを聞き入れはしないであろう』」。

☆今日の『み言葉』

ルカによる福音 16:19-31

　今日のエレミヤの預言の言葉に次のようにあります。「人の心は何にもまして、とらえ難く病んでいる。」私たちの心は、どうしようもなく病んでいる。まず、そのことを知っているのは、主なる神であり、私たちではないということです。

　最大の悲劇は、病んでいることを病んでいる本人が気がついていない場合です。直しようがない。それどころかこの病にかかると、自分が良かれと思っていることが、人を本当に傷つけてしまっていることさえ考えられます。「気づかない」病です。ルカにある、ファリサイ派の人と徴税人が神殿で祈る話があります。この病の典型です。そして「まったく、ファリサイ派は仕様がないな」と言った瞬間、実は私自身がその病にかかっていることになります。恐ろしい病です。少なくとも、自分もその病にあっという間にかかってしまうことに敏感であるようにしたいものです。
