（マルコによる福音 12:28b-34）
（ひとりの律法学者がきて）イエスに質問した、「すべてのいましめの中で、どれが第一のものですか」。
イエスは答えられた、「第一のいましめはこれである、『イスラエルよ、聞け。主なるわたしたちの神は、ただひとりの主である。
心をつくし、精神をつくし、思いをつくし、力をつくして、主なるあなたの神を愛せよ』。
第二はこれである、『自分を愛するようにあなたの隣り人を愛せよ』。これより大事ないましめは、ほかにない」。
そこで、この律法学者はイエスに言った、「先生、仰せのとおりです、『神はひとりであって、そのほかに神はない』と言われたのは、ほんとうです。

それゆえ、イスラエルよ、聞いて、それを守り行え。そうすれば、あなたはさいわいを得、あなたの先祖の神、主があなたに言われたように、乳と蜜の流れる国で、あなたの数は大いに増すであろう。

かつ、死ということがあるために、務を続けることができないので、多くの人々が祭司に立てられるのである。

そこでまた、彼は、いつも生きていて彼らのためにとりなしておられるので、彼によって神に来る人々を、いつも救うことができるのである。

このように、聖にして、悪も汚れもなく、罪人とは区別され、かつ、もろもろの天よりも高くされている大祭司こそ、わたしたちにとってふさわしいかたである。
7:27
彼は、ほかの大祭司のように、まず自分の罪のため、次に民の罪のために、日々、いけにえをささげる必要はない。なぜなら、自分をささげて、一度だけ、それをされたからである。
7:28
律法は、弱さを身に負う人間を立てて大祭司とするが、律法の後にきた誓いの御言は、永遠に全うされた御子を立てて、大祭司としたのである。

Gospel : Mark 12:28b-34
28b One of the scribes came, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”
29 Jesus answered, “The greatest is, ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one:
30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
31 The second is like this, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he,
33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.”
No one dared ask him any question after that.

Deuteronomy 6:2-6
2 that you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you; you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
4 Hear, Israel: the LORD is our God. The LORD is one.
5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
6 These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart;

Hebrews 7:23-28
23 Many, indeed, have been made priests, because they are hindered from continuing by death.
24 But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable.
25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
26 For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath which came after the law appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.

ある安息日のこと、食事をするために、あるパリサイ派のかしらの家にはいって行かれたが、人々はイエスの様子をうかがっていた。
客に招かれた者たちが上座を選んでいる様子をごらんになって、彼らに一つの譬を語られた。
「婚宴に招かれたときには、上座につくな。あるいは、あなたよりも身分の高い人が招かれているかも知れない。
その場合、あなたとその人とを招いた者がきて、『このかたに座を譲ってください』と言うであろう。そのとき、あなたは恥じ入って末座につくことになるであろう。
むしろ、招かれた場合には、末座に行ってすわりなさい。そうすれば、招いてくれた人がきて、『友よ、上座の方へお進みください』と言うであろう。そのとき、あなたは席を共にするみんなの前で、面目をほどこすことになるであろう。
おおよそ、自分を高くする者は低くされ、自分を低くする者は高くされるであろう」。

今日の福音では、お返しができない人を宴会に招待しなさいというメッセージがあります。
私たちが、何か人に物を贈ったり、もてなしたりするときには、これから、「よろしくお願いします」というあいさつや、好意をもたれることを期待して行うことが多いと思います。
わたしたちは、家族や友人に尽くしているのに理解されないとき、「これだけしてあげているのに、なんで私の気持ちを理解してくれないんだろう。」と思うことがあるかもしれません。
そんなわたしたちに今日の福音は、あえてチャレンジをしてきています。
わたしたちが人を受け入れ、愛するというときに、もし見返りを求めるなら、それは自分が受け入れてもらいたいから受け入れるのであり、愛されたいから愛するのです。
それは、自然なことかもしれません。しかし、イエスが私たちに示してくださった愛は、無償の愛であり、自分を憎む者に対しても注がれる愛です。
その愛に生きるよう、わたしたちも招かれているのです。

神は、あらかじめ知っておられたその民を、捨てることはされなかった。
11:11
そこで、わたしは問う、「彼らがつまずいたのは、倒れるためであったのか」。断じてそうではない。かえって、彼らの罪過によって、救が異邦人に及び、それによってイスラエルを奮起させるためである。
11:12
しかし、もし、彼らの罪過が世の富となり、彼らの失敗が異邦人の富となったとすれば、まして彼らが全部救われたなら、どんなにかすばらしいことであろう。
11:25
兄弟たちよ。あなたがたが知者だと自負することのないために、この奥義を知らないでいてもらいたくない。一部のイスラエル人がかたくなになったのは、異邦人が全部救われるに至る時までのことであって、
11:26
こうして、イスラエル人は、すべて救われるであろう。すなわち、次のように書いてある、
「救う者がシオンからきて、
ヤコブから不信心を追い払うであろう。
11:27
そして、これが、彼らの罪を除き去る時に、

1 When he went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread, they were watching him.
7 He spoke a parable to those who were invited, when he noticed how they chose the best seats, and said to them,
8 “When you are invited by anyone to a marriage feast, don’t sit in the best seat, since perhaps someone more honourable than you might be invited by him,
9 and he who invited both of you would come and tell you, ‘Make room for this person.’ Then you would begin, with shame, to take the lowest place.
10 But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes, he may tell you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honoured in the presence of all who sit at the table with you.
11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”

1 I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:
11 I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

2 Behold, a certain man who had dropsy was in front of him.
3 Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
4 But they were silent.
He took him, and healed him, and let him go.
5 He answered them, “Which of you, if your son or an ox fell into a well, wouldn’t immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”
6 They couldn’t answer him regarding these things.

1 I tell the truth in Christ. I am not lying, my conscience testifying with me in the Holy Spirit,
2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart.
3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers’ sake, my relatives according to the flesh,

このころ、イエスは祈るために山へ行き、夜を徹して神に祈られた。
夜が明けると、弟子たちを呼び寄せ、その中から十二人を選び出し、これに使徒という名をお与えになった。
すなわち、ペテロとも呼ばれたシモンとその兄弟アンデレ、ヤコブとヨハネ、ピリポとバルトロマイ、
マタイとトマス、アルパヨの子ヤコブと、熱心党と呼ばれたシモン、
ヤコブの子ユダ、それからイスカリオテのユダ。このユダが裏切者となったのである。
そして、イエスは彼らと一緒に山を下って平地に立たれたが、大ぜいの弟子たちや、ユダヤ全土、エルサレム、ツロとシドンの海岸地方などからの大群衆が、
教を聞こうとし、また病気をなおしてもらおうとして、そこにきていた。そして汚れた霊に悩まされている者たちも、いやされた。
また群衆はイエスにさわろうと努めた。それは力がイエスの内から出て、みんなの者を次々にいやしたからである。

（ルカによる福音 6:12-19）
12使徒の中でも、あまり目立たない聖シモンと聖ユダ。
今日の福音の中でも、この二人は最後の方に紹介されています。
聖シモンは12使徒の一人として列挙されている以外知られてはいません。
エジプトとペルシャで宣教した後、聖ユダと一緒に殉教したと言われています。
聖ユダは、イスカリオテのユダと同じ名前だったために、混同、誤解されて長い間、不当に冷遇されたようです。
でも、このことから19世紀ごろになると、無実の罪に苦しむ人、誤解による失意の内にある人たちの守護の聖人として大切にされるようになります。
現代でも誤解や偏見、無理解、不当な差別を受けて苦しむ人がたくさんいます。
他人ごとではなく、時にそんな体験を自分がしたりもするものです。
そんな苦しみから解放されるように、その痛みが恵みに変わるように、理解されずに殉教の死を遂げた二人の使徒の取り次ぎを求めて祈りましょう。

すると、ある人がイエスに、「主よ、救われる人は少ないのですか」と尋ねた。
そこでイエスは人々にむかって言われた、「狭い戸口からはいるように努めなさい。事実、はいろうとしても、はいれない人が多いのだから。
家の主人が立って戸を閉じてしまってから、あなたがたが外に立ち戸をたたき始めて、『ご主人様、どうぞあけてください』と言っても、主人はそれに答えて、『あなたがたがどこからきた人なのか、わたしは知らない』と言うであろう。
そのとき、『わたしたちはあなたとご一緒に飲み食いしました。また、あなたはわたしたちの大通りで教えてくださいました』と言い出しても、
彼は、『あなたがたがどこからきた人なのか、わたしは知らない。悪事を働く者どもよ、みんな行ってしまえ』と言うであろう。
あなたがたは、アブラハム、イサク、ヤコブやすべての預言者たちが、神の国にはいっているのに、自分たちは外に投げ出されることになれば、そこで泣き叫んだり、歯がみをしたりするであろう。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（ルカによる福音 13:22-30）
「主よ、救われる者は少ないのでしょうか」この人は、十字架上の死を前にしたイエスに向かって聞いています。
よく受験勉強を「狭い門」にたとえることがあります。
受験する学校が決まり受験の日が決まっていて、試験科目も決まっていたとします。
そのような状況で、受験生が担任の先生に、「あの学校に合格する者は少ないのでしょうか。心配でたまりません」と言ったとします。
そのとき、担任の先生は何と言うでしょうか。
「そんなことを聞きにくる暇があったら、自分が決めた目標に向かって勉強しなさい」ということでしょう。
イエスの時代の神学者の間では、だれが救われるかという論争があったようです。
わずかな人間だけが救われるという先生がいれば、神様の寛大さによってイスラエル人たち皆が救われるという学者もいました。
イエスが言いたいのは、だれが救われるか、人数はどれぐらいかということよりも、救いの条件について語られるのです。
まして、イエスの道は受験ではなく、十字架といういのちをささげる愛の道です。
救いを得るためには、「狭い門」から入る必要があります。
聖パウロが言うように、自分の中にキリストの受難と死を受け入れ、へりくだりの道を主とともに進みながらその教えに生きることです。
マザー・テレサのように、”A ＬＩＶＩＮＧ ＬＯＶＥ ＩＮ ＡＣＴＩＯＮ”が、私たちの救いの基準です。あなたはどう思いますか。

そして、人の心を探り知るかたは、御霊の思うところがなんであるかを知っておられる。なぜなら、御霊は、聖徒のために、神の御旨にかなうとりなしをして下さるからである。

Gospel : Luke 13:22-30
22 He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and travelling on to Jerusalem.
23 One said to him, “Lord, are they few who are saved?”
He said to them,
24 “Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able.
25 When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ then he will answer and tell you, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’
26 Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
27 He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’
28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets, in God’s Kingdom, and yourselves being thrown outside.
29 They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in God’s Kingdom.
30 Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last.”

そこで言われた、「神の国は何に似ているか。またそれを何にたとえようか。
一粒のからし種のようなものである。ある人がそれを取って庭にまくと、育って木となり、空の鳥もその枝に宿るようになる」。
また言われた、「神の国を何にたとえようか。
パン種のようなものである。女がそれを取って三斗の粉の中に混ぜると、全体がふくらんでくる」。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（ルカによる福音 13:18-21）
福音はルカから「からし種とパン種のたとえ」でした。
この二つの喩は神の国の喩ですが、始めの行「そこで、イエスは言われた(毎日のミサでは、「その時、イエスは言われた」)」の「そこで」が「それ故」或いは「従って」と言う語ですから、先行の安息日の癒しの意味を説明する役割を持っています。
ここでの二つの喩は、その中心が小さな初めと大きな終わりと言うコントラストにあります。
これを安息日の癒しに応用すると、18年間も病魔に犯されて腰の曲がっていた女が、イエスの言葉の介入によって一瞬の内に真っ直ぐになると言う、古い惨めさから新しい完全さへの転換のコントラストは、見えざる神の国の実現の見える徴です。
それは人目には小さく惨めなからし種が空の鳥も巣を作るほど大きくなり、僅かなパン種が3サトンの粉を膨らまして、沢山のパンを作ると言うコントラストに似ています。
そして先の癒しは、安息日の癒しとしての問題性を抱えて居るので、後の二つの喩にはもう一つの意味が在ります。
イエスの神の支配ｯ神の国は、律法の遵守によって来るものでは無く、律法の枠内に閉じ込められるものでも無く、ユダヤ民族内に限定されるものでも有りません。
からし種に於いて「木の枝に空の鳥が巣を作る」と言う表象は、旧約における異邦人の表象です。
これによって神の支配がユダヤ民族に限定されない事が示唆されます。
パン種の喩の場合も僅かなパン種が3サトンの粉を膨らませて沢山のパンになると言う時、無数の多くの人々が神の国を受ける事を意味し、これはイエスが神の国を教えて殆ど成功しなかった、ユダヤ民族の限界を超える可能性を示しています。

イエスの神の支配ｯ神の国は、律法の遵守によって来るものでは無く、律法の枠内に閉じ込められるものでも無く、ユダヤ民族内に限定されるものでも有りません。
からし種に於いて「木の枝に空の鳥が巣を作る」と言う表象は、旧約における異邦人の表象です。
これによって神の支配がユダヤ民族に限定されない事が示唆されます。
パン種の喩の場合も僅かなパン種が3サトンの粉を膨らませて沢山のパンになると言う時、無数の多くの人々が神の国を受ける事を意味し、これはイエスが神の国を教えて殆ど成功しなかった、ユダヤ民族の限界を超える可能性を示しています。

Gospel : Luke 13:18-21
13 He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight, and glorified God.
14 The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”
15 Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?
16 Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”
17 As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed, and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
18 He said, “What is God’s Kingdom like? To what shall I compare it?
19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and put in his own garden. It grew, and became a large tree, and the birds of the sky live in its branches.”
20 Again he said, “To what shall I compare God’s Kingdom?
21 It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed towards us.
19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

安息日に、ある会堂で教えておられると、
そこに十八年間も病気の霊につかれ、かがんだままで、からだを伸ばすことの全くできない女がいた。
イエスはこの女を見て、呼びよせ、「女よ、あなたの病気はなおった」と言って、
手をその上に置かれた。すると立ちどころに、そのからだがまっすぐになり、そして神をたたえはじめた。
ところが会堂司は、イエスが安息日に病気をいやされたことを憤り、群衆にむかって言った、「働くべき日は六日ある。その間に、なおしてもらいにきなさい。安息日にはいけない」。
主はこれに答えて言われた、「偽善者たちよ、あなたがたはだれでも、安息日であっても、自分の牛やろばを家畜小屋から解いて、水を飲ませに引き出してやるではないか。
それなら、十八年間もサタンに縛られていた、アブラハムの娘であるこの女を、安息日であっても、その束縛から解いてやるべきではなかったか」。
こう言われたので、イエスに反対していた人たちはみな恥じ入った。そして群衆はこぞって、イエスがなされたすべてのすばらしいみわざを見て喜んだ。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（ルカによる福音 13:10-17）
英国に留学した人に聞いたことがあります。
たまたま下宿した家庭が熱心なユダヤ教徒の家だったそうです。
英国とドイツは料理が美味しくないことで有名ですが、厨房の仕事さえも労働とみなして禁じていたその家庭の安息日の食事は悲惨だったとか。
今日の福音にでてくる会堂長の安息日理解も似たようなもの。
安息日は何歩以上歩いてはいけない、厨房の仕事は労働にあたるなどの禁止規定で頭の中はいっぱいだったのでしょう。
その会堂長の言動に対して、イエスはいいます。
「偽善者たちよ。18年間もサタンに縛られていた、アブラハムの娘たるこの女を、安息日であっても、その束縛から解いてやるべきではなかったか」。
ある聖書学者は、この＜安息日であっても＞という言葉は＜安息日においてこそ＞と訳すことができるといいます。
「安息日においてこそ、その束縛から解いてやるべきではなかったか」。
この＜べき＞というのは、道徳律がそのように強いるという意味ではありません。
原文はむしろ、「必ずそうなるはず」という意味だそうです。
主イエスはおかしいと思っておられた。
当然あるべきことが起こっていないことをいぶかっておられた。
むしろ安息日だからこそ、この女性の長年の痛みや辛さが顧みられてしかるべきではなかったかと。
安息日だから、その日の料理にふだんよりも心がこもっていたら、ユダヤ教の家庭でのホームステイも印象が異なっていたかもしれません。

それゆえに、兄弟たちよ。わたしたちは、果すべき責任を負っている者であるが、肉に従って生きる責任を肉に対して負っているのではない。

なぜなら、もし、肉に従って生きるなら、あなたがたは死ぬ外はないからである。しかし、霊によってからだの働きを殺すなら、あなたがたは生きるであろう。
8:14
すべて神の御霊に導かれている者は、すなわち、神の子である。
8:15
あなたがたは再び恐れをいだかせる奴隷の霊を受けたのではなく、子たる身分を授ける霊を受けたのである。その霊によって、わたしたちは「アバ、父よ」と呼ぶのである。
8:16
御霊みずから、わたしたちの霊と共に、わたしたちが神の子であることをあかしして下さる。
8:17
もし子であれば、相続人でもある。神の相続人であって、キリストと栄光を共にするために苦難をも共にしている以上、キリストと共同の相続人なのである。

それから、彼らはエリコにきた。そして、イエスが弟子たちや大ぜいの群衆と共にエリコから出かけられたとき、テマイの子、バルテマイという盲人のこじきが、道ばたにすわっていた。
ところが、ナザレのイエスだと聞いて、彼は「ダビデの子イエスよ、わたしをあわれんでください」と叫び出した。
多くの人々は彼をしかって黙らせようとしたが、彼はますます激しく叫びつづけた、「ダビデの子イエスよ、わたしをあわれんでください」。
イエスは立ちどまって「彼を呼べ」と命じられた。そこで、人々はその盲人を呼んで言った、「喜べ、立て、おまえを呼んでおられる」。
そこで彼は上着を脱ぎ捨て、踊りあがってイエスのもとにきた。
イエスは彼にむかって言われた、「わたしに何をしてほしいのか」。その盲人は言った、「先生、見えるようになることです」。
そこでイエスは言われた、「行け、あなたの信仰があなたを救った」。すると彼は、たちまち見えるようになり、イエスに従って行った。

30:7
悲しいかな、その日は大いなる日であって、
それに比べるべき日はない。
それはヤコブの悩みの時である。
しかし彼はそれから救い出される。
30:8
万軍の主は仰せられる、その日わたしは彼らの首からそのくびきを砕き離し、彼らの束縛を解く。異邦の人はもはや、彼らを使役することをしない。
30:9
彼らはその神、主と、わたしが彼らのために立てるその王ダビデに仕える。

5:1
大祭司なるものはすべて、人間の中から選ばれて、罪のために供え物といけにえとをささげるように、人々のために神に仕える役に任じられた者である。

彼は自分自身、弱さを身に負うているので、無知な迷っている人々を、思いやることができると共に、

その弱さのゆえに、民のためだけではなく自分自身のためにも、罪についてささげものをしなければならないのである。

かつ、だれもこの栄誉ある務を自分で得るのではなく、アロンの場合のように、神の召しによって受けるのである。

同様に、キリストもまた、大祭司の栄誉を自分で得たのではなく、
「あなたこそは、わたしの子。

Gospel : Mark 10:46-52
46 They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.
47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 Jesus stood still, and said, “Call him.”
They called the blind man, saying to him, “Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!”
50 He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
51 Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”
The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may see again.”
52 Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus on the way.

Jeremiah 31:7-9
7 For the LORD says,
“Sing with gladness for Jacob,
and shout for the chief of the nations.
Publish, praise, and say,
‘the LORD, save your people,
the remnant of Israel!’
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country,

along with the blind and the lame,
the woman with child and her who travails with child together.
They will return as a great company.
9 They shall come with weeping; and with petitions will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

Hebrews 5:1-6
1 For every high priest, being taken from amongst men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
2 The high priest can deal gently with those who are ignorant and going astray, because he himself is also surrounded with weakness.
3 Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.
4 Nobody takes this honour on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was.
5 So also Christ didn’t glorify himself to be made a high priest, but it was he who said to him,
“You are my Son.
Today I have become your father.”
6 As he says also in another place,
“You are a priest forever,
after the order of Melchizedek.”

（ルカによる福音 13:1-9）
ちょうどその時、ある人々がきて、ピラトがガリラヤ人たちの血を流し、それを彼らの犠牲の血に混ぜたことを、イエスに知らせた。
そこでイエスは答えて言われた、「それらのガリラヤ人が、そのような災難にあったからといって、他のすべてのガリラヤ人以上に罪が深かったと思うのか。
あなたがたに言うが、そうではない。あなたがたも悔い改めなければ、みな同じように滅びるであろう。
また、シロアムの塔が倒れたためにおし殺されたあの十八人は、エルサレムの他の全住民以上に罪の負債があったと思うか。
あなたがたに言うが、そうではない。あなたがたも悔い改めなければ、みな同じように滅びるであろう」。
それから、この譬を語られた、「ある人が自分のぶどう園にいちじくの木を植えて置いたので、実を捜しにきたが見つからなかった。
そこで園丁に言った、『わたしは三年間も実を求めて、このいちじくの木のところにきたのだが、いまだに見あたらない。その木を切り倒してしまえ。なんのために、土地をむだにふさがせて置くのか』。
すると園丁は答えて言った、『ご主人様、ことしも、そのままにして置いてください。そのまわりを掘って肥料をやって見ますから。
それで来年実がなりましたら結構です。もしそれでもだめでしたら、切り倒してください』」。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（ルカによる福音 13:1-9）
ぶどう園の主人が植えたイチジクの実を探しに３年通っているというたとえ話が出てくる。
次のように読み替えると味わいが違ってくるように思う。
ぶどう園の主人＝父なる神様。
ぶどう園＝教会、または世界。
イチジクの木＝私。
園丁＝イエス様。
父なる神様は私をこの世に、この教会に遣わされ、成果を待っておられる。
しかし、何の成果も上げられない私。
そんな私を見捨てないでと父なる神様に取り次ぐイエス様。
そのイエス様はいろいろな手立てを準備して（御聖体、許しの秘蹟など）、わたしが実を結ぶよう取り計らってくださっている。
待ってくださる父なる神様、世話をしてくださるイエス様に感謝し、聖なる人となるよう、回心の道を歩み始めましょう！

こういうわけで、今やキリスト・イエスにある者は罪に定められることがない。
8:2
なぜなら、キリスト・イエスにあるいのちの御霊の法則は、罪と死との法則からあなたを解放したからである。
8:3
律法が肉により無力になっているためになし得なかった事を、神はなし遂げて下さった。すなわち、御子を、罪の肉の様で罪のためにつかわし、肉において罪を罰せられたのである。
8:4
これは律法の要求が、肉によらず霊によって歩くわたしたちにおいて、満たされるためである。
8:5

ちょうどその時、ある人々がきて、ピラトがガリラヤ人たちの血を流し、それを彼らの犠牲の血に混ぜたことを、イエスに知らせた。
13:2
そこでイエスは答えて言われた、「それらのガリラヤ人が、そのような災難にあったからといって、他のすべてのガリラヤ人以上に罪が深かったと思うのか。
13:3
あなたがたに言うが、そうではない。あなたがたも悔い改めなければ、みな同じように滅びるであろう。
13:4
また、シロアムの塔が倒れたためにおし殺されたあの十八人は、エルサレムの他の全住民以上に罪の負債があったと思うか。
13:5
あなたがたに言うが、そうではない。あなたがたも悔い改めなければ、みな同じように滅びるであろう」。

それから、この譬を語られた、「ある人が自分のぶどう園にいちじくの木を植えて置いたので、実を捜しにきたが見つからなかった。

そこで園丁に言った、『わたしは三年間も実を求めて、このいちじくの木のところにきたのだが、いまだに見あたらない。その木を切り倒してしまえ。なんのために、土地をむだにふさがせて置くのか』。

すると園丁は答えて言った、『ご主人様、ことしも、そのままにして置いてください。そのまわりを掘って肥料をやって見ますから。

律法が肉により無力になっているためになし得なかった事を、神はなし遂げて下さった。すなわち、御子を、罪の肉の様で罪のためにつかわし、肉において罪を罰せられたのである。

これは律法の要求が、肉によらず霊によって歩くわたしたちにおいて、満たされるためである。
8:5

Gospel : Luke 13:1-9
1 Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2 Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
4 Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.”
6 He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.
7 He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’
8 He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it, and fertilise it.
9 If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

Rom 8:1-11
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
3 For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
7 because the mind of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be.
8 Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
10 If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

それから南風が吹くと、暑つくなるだろう、と言う。果してそのとおりになる。
偽善者よ、あなたがたは天地の模様を見分けることを知りながら、どうして今の時代を見分けることができないのか。
また、あなたがたは、なぜ正しいことを自分で判断しないのか。
たとえば、あなたを訴える人と一緒に役人のところへ行くときには、途中でその人と和解するように努めるがよい。そうしないと、その人はあなたを裁判官のところへひっぱって行き、裁判官はあなたを獄吏に引き渡し、獄吏はあなたを獄に投げ込むであろう。
わたしは言って置く、最後の一レプタまでも支払ってしまうまでは、決してそこから出て来ることはできない」。

一日も早く和解しなさい。
互いに許し合いなさいと。
私たちは、しばしば、人との関わりのなかで怒ったり、恨んだり、批判したり、嫌ったり、ときには憎むこともある。
この人さえいなければと思うこともあるかも知れない。
そうしたドロドロしたものをいっぱい抱えながら、私たちはみな裁きの座に向って人生という道を歩いている。
怖いのは、私はいつ主の法廷に着くか知らないことである。
確実なのは、その日は「思いがけない時」に来るということである。
主は言われる。
日は暮れかけている。道にお前の長い影が射している。
よく見なさい。もう一つの影がある。
裁きの座で受ける判決は、もう出されて、お前が行く道に映っている。
和解しなさい。いまがそのときだ。
救いは「いま」にある。
着いてからでは、もう手遅れだ。
このみ言葉を、忘れず今日も歩もう。

もし、欲しないことをしているとすれば、それをしているのは、もはやわたしではなく、わたしの内に宿っている罪である。

55 When a south wind blows, you say, ‘There will be a scorching heat,’ and it happens.
56 You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you don’t interpret this time?
57 Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?
58 For when you are going with your adversary before the magistrate, try diligently on the way to be released from him, lest perhaps he drag you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.
59 I tell you, you will by no means get out of there, until you have paid the very last penny.”

18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don’t find it doing that which is good.

わたしは、火を地上に投じるためにきたのだ。火がすでに燃えていたならと、わたしはどんなに願っていることか。
しかし、わたしには受けねばならないバプテスマがある。そして、それを受けてしまうまでは、わたしはどんなにか苦しい思いをすることであろう。
あなたがたは、わたしが平和をこの地上にもたらすためにきたと思っているのか。あなたがたに言っておく。そうではない。むしろ分裂である。
というのは、今から後は、一家の内で五人が相分れて、三人はふたりに、ふたりは三人に対立し、
また父は子に、子は父に、母は娘に、娘は母に、しゅうとめは嫁に、嫁はしゅうとめに、対立するであろう」。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（ルカによる福音 12:49-53）
「私が来たのは、地上に火を投ずるためである」(ﾙｶ12.49)
悪と妥協しないイエスの気迫のこもった言葉です。
悪の世界を焼き滅ぼし、不純なものを焼き尽くす激しい憤りのようなものを感じさせる言葉です。
でも私は「火を投ずるために来た」というイエスの言葉に「信仰の火」「聖霊の火」をまず連想します。
まさにイエスが来られたのはこの世に信仰の灯火をともすため、聖霊による愛の炎、希望の炎、平和の炎を燃やすためだったのではないでしょうか。
幸いに私達にもその火はもたらされました。
その火が罪と妥協したり無気力な生活に流されたりしてかき消されることがないよう大事に守りたいものです。
私達の中に点火された火は、日々み言葉を聞き思い巡らすことによってますます燃え上がるのではないでしょうか。
イエスと共にエマオへ向かった二人の弟子は感動しながら言いました。
「道で話しておられた時、また聖書を説明してくださった時、私達の心は燃えていたではないか」(ﾙｶ24.32)。
