＜今日の聖書物語 *＞
（マルコによる福音 5:1-20）
こうして彼らは海の向こう岸、ゲラサ人の地に着いた。
それから、イエスが舟からあがられるとすぐに、けがれた霊につかれた人が墓場から出てきて、イエスに出会った。
この人は墓場をすみかとしており、もはやだれも、鎖でさえも彼をつなぎとめて置けなかった。
彼はたびたび足かせや鎖でつながれたが、鎖を引きちぎり、足かせを砕くので、だれも彼を押えつけることができなかったからである。
そして、夜昼たえまなく墓場や山で叫びつづけて、石で自分のからだを傷つけていた。
ところが、この人がイエスを遠くから見て、走り寄って拝し、
大声で叫んで言った、「いと高き神の子イエスよ、あなたはわたしとなんの係わりがあるのです。神に誓ってお願いします。どうぞ、わたしを苦しめないでください」。
それは、イエスが、「けがれた霊よ、この人から出て行け」と言われたからである。
また彼に、「なんという名前か」と尋ねられると、「レギオンと言います。大ぜいなのですから」と答えた。
そして、自分たちをこの土地から追い出さないようにと、しきりに願いつづけた。
さて、そこの山の中腹に、豚の大群が飼ってあった。
霊はイエスに願って言った、「わたしどもを、豚にはいらせてください。その中へ送ってください」。
イエスがお許しになったので、けがれた霊どもは出て行って、豚の中へはいり込んだ。すると、その群れは二千匹ばかりであったが、がけから海へなだれを打って駆け下り、海の中でおぼれ死んでしまった。
豚を飼う者たちが逃げ出して、町や村にふれまわったので、人々は何事が起ったのかと見にきた。
そして、イエスのところにきて、悪霊につかれた人が着物を着て、正気になってすわっており、それがレギオンを宿していた者であるのを見て、恐れた。
また、それを見た人たちは、悪霊につかれた人の身に起った事と豚のこととを、彼らに話して聞かせた。
そこで、人々はイエスに、この地方から出て行っていただきたいと、頼みはじめた。
イエスが舟に乗ろうとされると、悪霊につかれていた人がお供をしたいと願い出た。
しかし、イエスはお許しにならないで、彼に言われた、「あなたの家族のもとに帰って、主がどんなに大きなことをしてくださったか、またどんなにあわれんでくださったか、それを知らせなさい」。
そこで、彼は立ち去り、そして自分にイエスがしてくださったことを、ことごとくデカポリスの地方に言いひろめ出したので、人々はみな驚き怪しんだ。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 5:1-20）
直前の話、嵐の湖（マルコ4：35〜41）で示されたように、湖は悪の象徴です。
今日の箇所では、その湖の中に汚れた存在である豚（ユダヤ人にとって）がなだれ込んで溺れ死にます。
豚が豚死、失礼、頓死しました。
豚の存在からわかるように、ここはユダヤ人にとって異邦人の地であるデカポリス地方です。
イエスの宣教により、異邦の地も清められていく象徴として、この話があるのです。
想像してみると、ややおぞましくもあり滑稽でもある豚事件（豚くん、ごめんね）ですが、表面的な部分に振り回されると、その事件の中心にいるイエスと、彼が行った神の業を見落としてしまいます。
この事件をどう見るかによって、イエスに「その地方から出て行ってもらいたい」という人々と同じ態度をとるか、イエスに「一緒に行きたい」と願うこの人のようになるかが分かれます。

ひとりの使者がダビデのところにきて、「イスラエルの人々の心はアブサロムに従いました」と言った。
15:14
ダビデは、自分と一緒にエルサレムにいるすべての家来に言った、「立て、われわれは逃げよう。そうしなければアブサロムの前からのがれることはできなくなるであろう。急いで行くがよい。さもないと、彼らが急ぎ追いついて、われわれに害をこうむらせ、つるぎをもって町を撃つであろう」。
15:30
ダビデはオリブ山の坂道を登ったが、登る時に泣き、その頭をおおい、はだしで行った。彼と共にいる民もみな頭をおおって登り、泣きながら登った。

ダビデ王がバホリムにきた時、サウルの家の一族の者がひとりそこから出てきた。その名をシメイといい、ゲラの子である。彼は出てきながら絶えずのろった。

そして彼はダビデとダビデ王のもろもろの家来に向かって石を投げた。その時、民と勇士たちはみな王の左右にいた。

シメイはのろう時にこう言った、「血を流す人よ、よこしまな人よ、立ち去れ、立ち去れ。
16:8
あなたが代って王となったサウルの家の血をすべて主があなたに報いられたのだ。主は王国をあなたの子アブサロムの手に渡された。見よ、あなたは血を流す人だから、災に会うのだ」。
16:9
時にゼルヤの子アビシャイは王に言った、「この死んだ犬がどうしてわが主、王をのろってよかろうか。わたしに、行って彼の首を取らせてください」。
16:10
しかし王は言った、「ゼルヤの子たちよ、あなたがたと、なんのかかわりがあるのか。彼がのろうのは、主が彼に、『ダビデをのろえ』と言われたからであるならば、だれが、『あなたはどうしてこういうことをするのか』と言ってよいであろうか」。
16:11
ダビデはまたアビシャイと自分のすべての家来とに言った、「わたしの身から出たわが子がわたしの命を求めている。今、このベニヤミンびととしてはなおさらだ。彼を許してのろわせておきなさい。主が彼に命じられたのだ。
16:12
主はわたしの悩みを顧みてくださるかもしれない。また主はきょう彼ののろいにかえて、わたしに善を報いてくださるかも知れない」。

Gospel : Mark 5:1-20
1 They came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
2 When he had come out of the boat, immediately a man with an unclean spirit met him out of the tombs.
3 He lived in the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains,
4 because he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Nobody had the strength to tame him.
5 Always, night and day, in the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out, and cutting himself with stones.
6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and bowed down to him,
7 and crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, don’t torment me.”
8 For he said to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”
9 He asked him, “What is your name?”
He said to him, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”
10 He begged him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now on the mountainside there was a great herd of pigs feeding.
12 All the demons begged him, saying, “Send us into the pigs, that we may enter into them.”
13 At once Jesus gave them permission. The unclean spirits came out and entered into the pigs. The herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and they were drowned in the sea.
14 Those who fed them fled, and told it in the city and in the country.
The people came to see what it was that had happened.
15 They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, even him who had the legion; and they were afraid.
16 Those who saw it declared to them what happened to him who was possessed by demons, and about the pigs.
17 They began to beg him to depart from their region.
18 As he was entering into the boat, he who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him.
19 He didn’t allow him, but said to him, “Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you.”
20 He went his way, and began to proclaim in Decapolis how Jesus had done great things for him, and everyone marvelled.

15:13 A messenger came to David, saying, “The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom.”
14 David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, “Arise, and let us flee; or else none of us will escape from Absalom. Hurry to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring down evil on us, and strike the city with the edge of the sword.”
30 David went up by the ascent of the Mount of Olives, and wept as he went up; and he had his head covered, and went barefoot: and all the people who were with him each covered his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.
16:5 When king David came to Bahurim, behold, a man of the family of Saul’s house came out, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera. He came out and cursed as he came.
6 He cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David, and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.
7 Shimei said when he cursed, “Be gone, be gone, you man of blood, and base fellow!
8 The LORD has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! the LORD has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”
9 Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, “Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Please let me go over and take off his head.”
10 The king said, “What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? Because he curses, and because the LORD has said to him, ‘Curse David;’ who then shall say, ‘Why have you done so?’”
11 David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, “Behold, my son, who came out of my bowels, seeks my life. How much more this Benjamite, now? Leave him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD has invited him.
12 It may be that the LORD will look on the wrong done to me, and that the LORD will repay me good for the cursing of me today.”
13 So David and his men went by the way; and Shimei went along on the hillside opposite him, and cursed as he went, threw stones at him, and threw dust.

そこでイエスは、「この聖句は、あなたがたが耳にしたこの日に成就した」と説きはじめられた。
すると、彼らはみなイエスをほめ、またその口から出て来るめぐみの言葉に感嘆して言った、「この人はヨセフの子ではないか」。
そこで彼らに言われた、「あなたがたは、きっと『医者よ、自分自身をいやせ』ということわざを引いて、カペナウムで行われたと聞いていた事を、あなたの郷里のこの地でもしてくれ、と言うであろう」。
それから言われた、「よく言っておく。預言者は、自分の郷里では歓迎されないものである。
よく聞いておきなさい。エリヤの時代に、三年六か月にわたって天が閉じ、イスラエル全土に大ききんがあった際、そこには多くのやもめがいたのに、

Gospel : Luke 4:21-30
21 He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
22 All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”
23 He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this parable, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”
24 He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.
25 But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.
26 Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
27 There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”
28 They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things.
29 They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.
30 But he, passing through the middle of them, went his way.

Jeremiah 1:4-5, 17-19
4 Now the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
5 “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.
Before you were born, I sanctified you.
I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
17 “You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and say to them all that I command you. Don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.
18 For, behold, I have made you today a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
19 They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you”, says the LORD, “to rescue you.”

12:31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
13:1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burnt, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,
5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
10 but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.
13 But now faith, hope, and love remain--these three. The greatest of these is love.

さてその日、夕方になると、イエスは弟子たちに、「向こう岸へ渡ろう」と言われた。
そこで、彼らは群衆をあとに残し、イエスが舟に乗っておられるまま、乗り出した。ほかの舟も一緒に行った。
すると、激しい突風が起り、波が舟の中に打ち込んできて、舟に満ちそうになった。
ところがイエス自身は、舳の方でまくらをして、眠っておられた。そこで、弟子たちはイエスをおこして、「先生、わたしどもがおぼれ死んでも、おかまいにならないのですか」と言った。
イエスは起きあがって風をしかり、海にむかって、「静まれ、黙れ」と言われると、風はやんで、大なぎになった。
イエスは彼らに言われた、「なぜ、そんなにこわがるのか。どうして信仰がないのか」。
彼らは恐れおののいて、互に言った、「いったい、この方はだれだろう。風も海も従わせるとは」。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 4:35-41）
弟子たちがイエスさまと一緒に舟に乗り、湖の向こう岸に渡ろうとした時のことです。
突然の嵐に、弟子たちは大慌てです。風も強く、波も高いので舟が水浸しです。
イエスさまはそばにおられますが、眠っておられます。
弟子たちの様子とは対照的です。
イエスさまを起こすと、イエスさまは嵐を静めてくださいました。
「なぜ怖がるのか。まだ信じないのか」とおっしゃいまた。
私たちは福音書を読み、イエスさまのことを知ります。
イエスさまがどんな方であるのか、弟子たちと同じ思いにあるとも言えましょう。
私たちの生活の中にも試練があります。
今日の福音に出てくる湖での突然の嵐のようにです。
その試練は、ただただ悪いものともいいきれません。
私たちの生活を見直す機会であったり、神さまの方向に目を向けることに気づかせてくれるものかもしれません。
そのような時にこそ私たち一人ひとりが、それぞれいただいた信仰を深めることができますように。

今日の福音に出てくる湖での突然の嵐のようにです。
その試練は、ただただ悪いものともいいきれません。
私たちの生活を見直す機会であったり、神さまの方向に目を向けることに気づかせてくれるものかもしれません。
そのような時にこそ私たち一人ひとりが、それぞれいただいた信仰を深めることができますように。

富んでいる人は非常に多くの羊と牛を持っていたが、

貧しい人は自分が買った一頭の小さい雌の小羊のほかは何も持っていなかった。彼がそれを育てたので、その小羊は彼および彼の子供たちと共に成長し、彼の食物を食べ、彼のわんから飲み、彼のふところで寝て、彼にとっては娘のようであった。
12:4
時に、ひとりの旅びとが、その富んでいる人のもとにきたが、自分の羊または牛のうちから一頭を取って、自分の所にきた旅びとのために調理することを惜しみ、その貧しい人の小羊を取って、これを自分の所にきた人のために調理した」。
12:5
ダビデはその人の事をひじょうに怒ってナタンに言った、「主は生きておられる。この事をしたその人は死ぬべきである。

かつその人はこの事をしたため、またあわれまなかったため、その小羊を四倍にして償わなければならない」。

ナタンはダビデに言った、「あなたがその人です。イスラエルの神、主はこう仰せられる、

あなたがわたしを軽んじてヘテびとウリヤの妻をとり、自分の妻としたので、つるぎはいつまでもあなたの家を離れないであろう』。

主はこう仰せられる、『見よ、わたしはあなたの家からあなたの上に災を起すであろう。わたしはあなたの目の前であなたの妻たちを取って、隣びとに与えるであろう。その人はこの太陽の前で妻たちと一緒に寝るであろう。

ダビデはナタンに言った、「わたしは主に罪をおかしました」。ナタンはダビデに言った、「主もまたあなたの罪を除かれました。あなたは死ぬことはないでしょう。

しかしあなたはこの行いによって大いに主を侮ったので、あなたに生れる子供はかならず死ぬでしょう」。

こうしてナタンは家に帰った。
さて主は、ウリヤの妻がダビデに産んだ子を撃たれたので、病気になった。

Gospel : Mark 4:35-41
35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.”
36 Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
37 A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
38 He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are dying?”
39 He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?”
41 They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

2 Samuel 12:1-7a, 10-17
1 The LORD sent Nathan to David. He came to him, and said to him, “There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 The rich man had very many flocks and herds,
3 but the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and raised. It grew up together with him, and with his children. It ate of his own food, drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was like a daughter to him.
4 A traveller came to the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to prepare for the wayfaring man who had come to him, but took the poor man’s lamb, and prepared it for the man who had come to him.”
5 David’s anger burnt hot against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD lives, the man who has done this deserves to die!
6 He must restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity!”
7a Nathan said to David, “You are the man. This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says:
10 Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken Uriah the Hittite’s wife to be your wife.’
11 “This is what the LORD says: ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbour, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.
12 For you did this secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.’”
13 David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.”
Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin. You will not die.
14 However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the LORD’s enemies to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you will surely die.”
15 Nathan departed to his house.
The LORD struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it was very sick.
16 David therefore begged God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night on the ground.
17 The elders of his house arose beside him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, and he didn’t eat bread with them.

また言われた、「神の国は、ある人が地に種をまくようなものである。
夜昼、寝起きしている間に、種は芽を出して育って行くが、どうしてそうなるのか、その人は知らない。
地はおのずから実を結ばせるもので、初めに芽、つぎに穂、つぎに穂の中に豊かな実ができる。
実がいると、すぐにかまを入れる。刈入れ時がきたからである」。
また言われた、「神の国を何に比べようか。また、どんな譬で言いあらわそうか。
それは一粒のからし種のようなものである。地にまかれる時には、地上のどんな種よりも小さいが、
まかれると、成長してどんな野菜よりも大きくなり、大きな枝を張り、その陰に空の鳥が宿るほどになる」。
イエスはこのような多くの譬で、人々の聞く力にしたがって、御言を語られた。
譬によらないでは語られなかったが、自分の弟子たちには、ひそかにすべてのことを解き明かされた。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 4:26-34）
小銭を入れてジュースも、お菓子も、ラーメンなどもすぐに手に入る生活に慣れているインスタント時代の私たちには、「待つ」こと、静かに待って見守るということに困難を感じています。
何でも「早く」得られることに期待しがちな私たちにとって、イエスのこのたとえ話は印象的です。
急な変化と結果はめったにないことを諭させるたとえです。
人生の変化・・聖変化には人間の活動やイニシアチブよりも人間の開きと協力が要ります。
後は神様のペースに委ねるほかはないのでは・・と思います。
早く人を「信者にする」焦りが、「信じない信者」を生み出すこととなり、この現状は日本でも見られるのではないでしょうか。
「実る」までのステップは、決して飛ばせるものではないのです。
じっくりと「福音化」をせずに進もうとするならば、「秘蹟化」も上手く行かないのは当然のことと言えます。
天の国は人間に働かれる神様の業ですが、神様のスピードには永遠の余裕があります。

春になって、王たちが戦いに出るに及んで、ダビデはヨアブおよび自分と共にいる家来たち、並びにイスラエルの全軍をつかわした。彼らはアンモンの人々を滅ぼし、ラバを包囲した。しかしダビデはエルサレムにとどまっていた。
11:2
さて、ある日の夕暮、ダビデは床から起き出て、王の家の屋上を歩いていたが、屋上から、ひとりの女がからだを洗っているのを見た。その女は非常に美しかった。
11:3
ダビデは人をつかわしてその女のことを探らせたが、ある人は言った、「これはエリアムの娘で、ヘテびとウリヤの妻バテシバではありませんか」。
11:4a
そこでダビデは使者をつかわして、その女を連れてきた。女は彼の所にきて、彼はその女と寝た。

こうして女はその家に帰った。

女は妊娠したので、人をつかわしてダビデに告げて言った、「わたしは子をはらみました」。

そこでダビデはヨアブに、「ヘテびとウリヤをわたしの所につかわせ」と言ってやったので、ヨアブはウリヤをダビデの所につかわした。

ウリヤがダビデの所にきたので、ダビデは、ヨアブはどうしているか、民はどうしているか、戦いはうまくいっているかとたずねた。

そしてダビデはウリヤに言った、「あなたの家に行って、足を洗いなさい」。ウリヤは王の家を出ていったが、王の贈り物が彼の後に従った。

しかしウリヤは王の家の入口で主君の家来たちと共に寝て、自分の家に帰らなかった。

人々がダビデに、「ウリヤは自分の家に帰りませんでした」と告げたので、

ダビデは彼を招いて自分の前で食い飲みさせ、彼を酔わせた。夕暮になって彼は出ていって、その床に、主君の家来たちと共に寝た。そして自分の家には下って行かなかった。

朝になってダビデはヨアブにあてた手紙を書き、ウリヤの手に託してそれを送った。

彼はその手紙に、「あなたがたはウリヤを激しい戦いの最前線に出し、彼の後から退いて、彼を討死させよ」と書いた。

ヨアブは町を囲んでいたので、勇士たちがいると知っていた場所にウリヤを置いた。
11:17
町の人々が出てきてヨアブと戦ったので、民のうち、ダビデの家来たちにも、倒れるものがあり、ヘテびとウリヤも死んだ。

また言われた、「神の国は、ある人が地に種をまくようなものである。
4:27
夜昼、寝起きしている間に、種は芽を出して育って行くが、どうしてそうなるのか、その人は知らない。
4:28
地はおのずから実を結ばせるもので、初めに芽、つぎに穂、つぎに穂の中に豊かな実ができる。
4:29
実がいると、すぐにかまを入れる。刈入れ時がきたからである」。
4:30
また言われた、「神の国を何に比べようか。また、どんな譬で言いあらわそうか。
4:31
それは一粒のからし種のようなものである。地にまかれる時には、地上のどんな種よりも小さいが、
4:32
まかれると、成長してどんな野菜よりも大きくなり、大きな枝を張り、その陰に空の鳥が宿るほどになる」。
4:33
イエスはこのような多くの譬で、人々の聞く力にしたがって、御言を語られた。
4:34
譬によらないでは語られなかったが、自分の弟子たちには、ひそかにすべてのことを解き明かされた。

春になって、王たちが戦いに出るに及んで、ダビデはヨアブおよび自分と共にいる家来たち、並びにイスラエルの全軍をつかわした。彼らはアンモンの人々を滅ぼし、ラバを包囲した。しかしダビデはエルサレムにとどまっていた。
11:2
さて、ある日の夕暮、ダビデは床から起き出て、王の家の屋上を歩いていたが、屋上から、ひとりの女がからだを洗っているのを見た。その女は非常に美しかった。
11:3
ダビデは人をつかわしてその女のことを探らせたが、ある人は言った、「これはエリアムの娘で、ヘテびとウリヤの妻バテシバではありませんか」。
11:4a
そこでダビデは使者をつかわして、その女を連れてきた。女は彼の所にきて、彼はその女と寝た。
11:4c
こうして女はその家に帰った。
11:5
女は妊娠したので、人をつかわしてダビデに告げて言った、「わたしは子をはらみました」。
11:6
そこでダビデはヨアブに、「ヘテびとウリヤをわたしの所につかわせ」と言ってやったので、ヨアブはウリヤをダビデの所につかわした。
11:7
ウリヤがダビデの所にきたので、ダビデは、ヨアブはどうしているか、民はどうしているか、戦いはうまくいっているかとたずねた。
11:8
そしてダビデはウリヤに言った、「あなたの家に行って、足を洗いなさい」。ウリヤは王の家を出ていったが、王の贈り物が彼の後に従った。
11:9
しかしウリヤは王の家の入口で主君の家来たちと共に寝て、自分の家に帰らなかった。
11:10a
人々がダビデに、「ウリヤは自分の家に帰りませんでした」と告げたので、
11:13
ダビデは彼を招いて自分の前で食い飲みさせ、彼を酔わせた。夕暮になって彼は出ていって、その床に、主君の家来たちと共に寝た。そして自分の家には下って行かなかった。
11:14
朝になってダビデはヨアブにあてた手紙を書き、ウリヤの手に託してそれを送った。
11:15
彼はその手紙に、「あなたがたはウリヤを激しい戦いの最前線に出し、彼の後から退いて、彼を討死させよ」と書いた。
11:16
ヨアブは町を囲んでいたので、勇士たちがいると知っていた場所にウリヤを置いた。
11:17
町の人々が出てきてヨアブと戦ったので、民のうち、ダビデの家来たちにも、倒れるものがあり、ヘテびとウリヤも死んだ。

Gospel : Mark 4:26-34
26 He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he doesn’t know how.
28 For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
29 But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
30 He said, “How will we liken God’s Kingdom? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?
31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
32 yet when it is sown, grows up, and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”
33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
34 Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.

1 At the return of the year, at the time when kings go out, David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem.
2 At evening, David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. From the roof, he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to look at.
3 David sent and enquired after the woman. One said, “Isn’t this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, Uriah the Hittite’s wife?”
4a David sent messengers, and took her; and he lay with her;
4c and she returned to her house.
5 The woman conceived; and she sent and told David, and said, “I am with child.”
6 David sent to Joab, “Send me Uriah the Hittite.” Joab sent Uriah to David.
7 When Uriah had come to him, David asked him how Joab did, and how the people fared, and how the war prospered.
8 David said to Uriah, “Go down to your house and wash your feet.” Uriah departed out of the king’s house, and a gift from the king was sent after him.
9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and didn’t go down to his house.
10a When they had told David, saying, “Uriah didn’t go down to his house,”
13 When David had called him, he ate and drink before him; and he made him drunk. At evening, he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but didn’t go down to his house.
14 In the morning, David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
15 He wrote in the letter, saying, “Send Uriah to the forefront of the hottest battle, and retreat from him, that he may be struck, and die.”
16 When Joab kept watch on the city, he assigned Uriah to the place where he knew that valiant men were.
17 The men of the city went out, and fought with Joab. Some of the people fell, even of David’s servants; and Uriah the Hittite died also.

また彼らに言われた、「ますの下や寝台の下に置くために、あかりを持ってくることがあろうか。燭台の上に置くためではないか。
なんでも、隠されているもので、現れないものはなく、秘密にされているもので、明るみに出ないものはない。
聞く耳のある者は聞くがよい」。
また彼らに言われた、「聞くことがらに注意しなさい。あなたがたの量るそのはかりで、自分にも量り与えられ、その上になお増し加えられるであろう。
だれでも、持っている人は更に与えられ、持っていない人は、持っているものまでも取り上げられるであろう」。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 4:21-25）
今日のこの福音は昨日の箇所の続きで、イエス様は人々に神の言葉を聴く人の姿勢について話されています
だからこの箇所は、ただそのまま抜き出して考えようとすると、書かれてある言葉の意味はわかるとしても、イエス様の言わんとすることの意味がわかり辛くなってしまうところでもあります。
イエス様がここで言われている「ともしび」は神様のみ言葉のことだととらえることが出来ます。
神様の言葉を聴く人は、それを胸に秘めて隠したりすると意味がないということでしょう。
そうするのではなくて、神の言葉を実行して人々に表されるべきだとイエス様は諭しておられるのです。
更に神の言葉は人の心の中の隠れているものを照らし出す力を持っていることも私たちに悟らせています。
「何を聞いているか注意しなさい」と言われます。
神の言葉に耳を傾けているか、それをちゃんと聴いているかどうか振り返りを促されます。
自分の聴きたいことだけ、自分の耳に心地よいことだけを聴こうとすると、神様の言葉はあまり聞こえてこなくなるわけです。
神様の言葉を聴く耳を持つ人、持っている人になりなさいと、イエス様は私たちに訴えておられるのが聞こえますか？

21 He said to them, “Is the lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand?
22 For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light.
23 If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”
24 He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.
25 For whoever has, to him will more be given, and he who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”

2 Samuel 7:18-19, 24-29
18 Then David the king went in, and sat before the LORD; and he said, “Who am I, Lord the LORD, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
19 This was yet a small thing in your eyes, Lord GOD; but you have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come; and this amongst men, Lord GOD!
24 You established for yourself your people Israel to be your people forever; and you, LORD, became their God.
25 Now, LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm it forever, and do as you have spoken.

そのとき、彼らに言われた、「収穫は多いが、働き人が少ない。だから、収穫の主に願って、その収穫のために働き人を送り出すようにしてもらいなさい。
さあ、行きなさい。わたしがあなたがたをつかわすのは、小羊をおおかみの中に送るようなものである。
財布も袋もくつも持って行くな。だれにも道であいさつするな。
どこかの家にはいったら、まず『平安がこの家にあるように』と言いなさい。
もし平安の子がそこにおれば、あなたがたの祈る平安はその人の上にとどまるであろう。もしそうでなかったら、それはあなたがたの上に帰って来るであろう。

今日の福音書で、イエスはわたしたちに要請する。
「収穫は多いが、働き手が少ない。働き手を送ってくださるよう、収穫の主に願いなさい。」
イエスは、救いを待つ人々を目の当たりにして、嘆息する。
「働き手が少ない！！」と。このイエスの願いに「わたしをお使いください。」と、申し出るのが、受洗者。寛大に自分を差し出すことが受洗者の務め。イエスの手足となって、サービスに専念していくことが求められる。
その時の心構えとして、わたしを前面に押し出さないこと、常にイエスが前に出ていることが必要。
そうでなければ、イエスの危惧が現実化してしまう。
「わたしがあなたがたを遣わす。それは、狼の群れの中に小羊を送り込むようなものだ。」その人が前面に押し出され、自分がやっているのだと錯覚した時、狼（悪魔）の餌食と化してしまうから。

Gospel : Mark 4:1-20
1 Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea, and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
2 He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
3 “Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow,
4 and as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
6 When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7 Others fell amongst the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8 Others fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some produced thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much.”
9 He said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”
10 When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
11 He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
12 that ‘seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’”
13 He said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
14 The farmer sows the word.
15 The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
16 These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
17 They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
18 Others are those who are sown amongst the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
19 and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
20 Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, according to the promise of the life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 I thank God, whom I serve as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience. How unceasing is my memory of you in my petitions, night and day
4 longing to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy;
5 having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you; which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.
6 For this cause, I remind you that you should stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
8 Therefore don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,

そして彼らに言われた、「全世界に出て行って、すべての造られたものに福音を宣べ伝えよ。
信じてバプテスマを受ける者は救われる。しかし、不信仰の者は罪に定められる。
信じる者には、このようなしるしが伴う。すなわち、彼らはわたしの名で悪霊を追い出し、新しい言葉を語り、
へびをつかむであろう。また、毒を飲んでも、決して害を受けない。病人に手をおけば、いやされる」。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 16:15-18）
今日は、教会典礼と共に使徒聖パウロの回心を祝います。
この方の名はサウロ、ラテン語ではパウロと言われています。
彼はタルソス出身の本格的なユダヤ人でありました。
少年の時からエルサレムに遊学し、ガマリエルの膝下に、モーゼの律法や旧約聖書などをみっちり学んで、狂信的なユダヤ教徒となりました。
そのために、祖先伝来の習慣や考え方と違うキリスト教を蛇蝎ごとくきらい、その教会を絶滅させる事こそ自分の使命だと考えるようになりました。
ところでダマスコの有名な出来事は彼の回心の土台となりました。
「サウロ、サウロ、どうして私を迫害するのか」光線の中からおごそかな声が響いた。
「主よ、あなたは誰ですか」とサウロはおそれるその声に問いかけました。
「私はお前の迫害するイエスです。」
そのとき信仰の光がサウロの心の中をくまなく照らされました。
この恩恵のちぎりに、サウロの霊魂を固く閉ざしたからは粉々に砕かれ、以前の古いサウロは新しいパウロに生まれ変わりました。
自分が違っていた事に気づくと、パウロはじっとしていませんでした。
過去を反省すると同時に、新しい理想を目指して進もうとする行動の人でした。
すぐに彼は聞き返したのです。
「主よ、私はどうしたらいいのでしょうか」、
「立って町へ行きなさい。お前のなすべき事はそこで知らせるであろう。」
パウロはこの答えに力を得え、立ち上がりました。
ダマスコでパウロはまる三日の間、何も食べずに、断食をしながら、深い痛快の涙と共に熱心な祈りを捧げました。
その後、キリストの名を伝えるために、選んだ器となりました。
その翌日からパウロはユダヤ教の会堂に出かけて、キリストが神の子であり、救い主である事をのべ始めました。
パウロの回心の物語は、私達を大きな希望で満たします。
彼はイエスの弟子を迫害し、非常に重大な過ちを犯していました。
それにもかかわらずイエスは彼をあわれみ、全時代を超える最も偉大な聖人の一人とされました。
彼の回心は、イエスの憐みと恵みが最悪の罪人さえも新しく造り変えてしまうという励ましのしるしです。
恵みは律法の業や自分の功徳に左右されず、ユダヤ人と異邦人の差別なく、あらゆる人、あらゆる時代に及びます。

ダマスコでパウロはまる三日の間、何も食べずに、断食をしながら、深い痛快の涙と共に熱心な祈りを捧げました。
その後、キリストの名を伝えるために、選んだ器となりました。
その翌日からパウロはユダヤ教の会堂に出かけて、キリストが神の子であり、救い主である事をのべ始めました。
パウロの回心の物語は、私達を大きな希望で満たします。
彼はイエスの弟子を迫害し、非常に重大な過ちを犯していました。
それにもかかわらずイエスは彼をあわれみ、全時代を超える最も偉大な聖人の一人とされました。
彼の回心は、イエスの憐みと恵みが最悪の罪人さえも新しく造り変えてしまうという励ましのしるしです。
恵みは律法の業や自分の功徳に左右されず、ユダヤ人と異邦人の差別なく、あらゆる人、あらゆる時代に及びます。

17 These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

3 “I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, instructed according to the strict tradition of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God, even as you all are today.
4 I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
5 As also the high priest and all the council of the elders testify, from whom also I received letters to the brothers, and travelled to Damascus to bring them also who were there to Jerusalem in bonds to be punished.
6 As I made my journey, and came close to Damascus, about noon, suddenly a great light shone around me from the sky.
7 I fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
8 I answered, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you persecute.’
9 “Those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they didn’t understand the voice of him who spoke to me.

また、エルサレムから下ってきた律法学者たちも、「彼はベルゼブルにとりつかれている」と言い、「悪霊どものかしらによって、悪霊どもを追い出しているのだ」とも言った。
そこでイエスは彼らを呼び寄せ、譬をもって言われた、「どうして、サタンがサタンを追い出すことができようか。
もし国が内部で分れ争うなら、その国は立ち行かない。
また、もし家が内わで分れ争うなら、その家は立ち行かないであろう。
もしサタンが内部で対立し分争するなら、彼は立ち行けず、滅んでしまう。
だれでも、まず強い人を縛りあげなければ、その人の家に押し入って家財を奪い取ることはできない。縛ってからはじめて、その家を略奪することができる。
よく言い聞かせておくが、人の子らには、その犯すすべての罪も神をけがす言葉も、ゆるされる。
しかし、聖霊をけがす者は、いつまでもゆるされず、永遠の罪に定められる」。
そう言われたのは、彼らが「イエスはけがれた霊につかれている」と言っていたからである。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 3:22-30）
今日の福音のエピソードの中で、イエスは「どんな罪もすべて赦されるが、聖霊を冒涜する者は永遠に赦されず、永遠に罪の責めを負う」ときわめて厳しい言葉を残されている。
冒涜と訳されたギリシア語は、宗教的には「けがす」という意味で、ほとんど「神をけがす」ことを指している。
イエスは「聖霊をけがす罪」だけは赦されないと言われた。
それでは「聖霊を汚す赦されざる罪」とは何だろう。
一言で言えば「頑なに改心を拒む」ことである。
拒むにはいろいろ訳があるだろう。
ある人は絶望し、ある人は思い上がって神の救いの手を拒むかもしれない。
人間の恐ろしさは神の救いの手を拒む自由があるということである。
ここでシスチーナ礼拝堂のミケランジェロの最後の審判の絵を思い起こしたい。
向かって左下に地獄に落ちていく人々が描かれているが、そこに筋骨逞しい天使が落ちていく人間を鎖で引き上げている構図がある。
（ちなみに天使に羽など生えていない。また世の中全体が男も長髪の時代に、短髪の格闘技に出そうな青年である。）
その天使の手にある鎖をよく見るとそれは、ロザリオである。
人間という者は、所詮、罪の重荷で落ちていく、それを神の恵みが引っ張り上げていく、ミケランジェロの神学が見事に描かれている。
私たちは全能の神を信じているという。
この神の全能さを、私たちはどこに見ているのだろう。
天地創造の話をイメージする人は多いだろう。
しかし神の全能は、自由であるがゆえに罪深く、下へ下へと落ちていく人間を、がっちり引き上げてくださる恵みのうちに、むしろ現わされているのである。
赦されない罪の話に不安を感じる人は、救いの恵みに現われる神の全能を思い起して欲しい。

このようにイスラエルの長老たちが皆、ヘブロンにいる王のもとにきたので、ダビデ王はヘブロンで主の前に彼らと契約を結んだ。そして彼らはダビデに油を注いでイスラエルの王とした。

ダビデは王となったとき三十歳で、四十年の間、世を治めた。

すなわちヘブロンで七年六か月ユダを治め、またエルサレムで三十三年、全イスラエルとユダを治めた。

王とその従者たちとはエルサレムへ行って、その地の住民エブスびとを攻めた。エブスびとはダビデに言った、「あなたはけっして、ここに攻め入ることはできない。かえって、めしいや足なえでも、あなたを追い払うであろう」。彼らが「ダビデはここに攻め入ることはできない」と思ったからである。

ところがダビデはシオンの要害を取った。これがダビデの町である。

イスラエルのすべての部族はヘブロンにいるダビデのもとにきて言った、「われわれは、あなたの骨肉です。
5:2
先にサウルがわれわれの王であった時にも、あなたはイスラエルを率いて出入りされました。そして主はあなたに、『あなたはわたしの民イスラエルを牧するであろう。またあなたはイスラエルの君となるであろう』と言われました」。
5:3
このようにイスラエルの長老たちが皆、ヘブロンにいる王のもとにきたので、ダビデ王はヘブロンで主の前に彼らと契約を結んだ。そして彼らはダビデに油を注いでイスラエルの王とした。
5:4
ダビデは王となったとき三十歳で、四十年の間、世を治めた。
5:5
すなわちヘブロンで七年六か月ユダを治め、またエルサレムで三十三年、全イスラエルとユダを治めた。
5:6
王とその従者たちとはエルサレムへ行って、その地の住民エブスびとを攻めた。エブスびとはダビデに言った、「あなたはけっして、ここに攻め入ることはできない。かえって、めしいや足なえでも、あなたを追い払うであろう」。彼らが「ダビデはここに攻め入ることはできない」と思ったからである。
5:7
ところがダビデはシオンの要害を取った。これがダビデの町である。
5:10
こうしてダビデはますます大いなる者となり、かつ万軍の神、主が彼と共におられた。

22 The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons.”
23 He summoned them, and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end.
27 But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
28 Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;
29 but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.”
30 --because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”

7 Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. This is David’s city.

＜今日の聖書物語 *＞
（ルカによる福音 1:1-4, 4:14-21）
わたしたちの間に成就された出来事を、最初から親しく見た人々であって、
御言に仕えた人々が伝えたとおり物語に書き連ねようと、多くの人が手を着けましたが、
テオピロ閣下よ、わたしもすべての事を初めから詳しく調べていますので、ここに、それを順序正しく書きつづって、閣下に献じることにしました。
すでにお聞きになっている事が確実であることを、これによって十分に知っていただきたいためであります。
それからイエスは御霊の力に満ちあふれてガリラヤへ帰られると、そのうわさがその地方全体にひろまった。
イエスは諸会堂で教え、みんなの者から尊敬をお受けになった。
それからお育ちになったナザレに行き、安息日にいつものように会堂にはいり、聖書を朗読しようとして立たれた。
すると預言者イザヤの書が手渡されたので、その書を開いて、こう書いてある所を出された、
「主の御霊がわたしに宿っている。
貧しい人々に福音を宣べ伝えさせるために、
わたしを聖別してくださったからである。
主はわたしをつかわして、
囚人が解放され、盲人の目が開かれることを告げ知らせ、
打ちひしがれている者に自由を得させ、
主のめぐみの年を告げ知らせるのである」。
イエスは聖書を巻いて係りの者に返し、席に着かれると、会堂にいるみんなの者の目がイエスに注がれた。
そこでイエスは、「この聖句は、あなたがたが耳にしたこの日に成就した」と説きはじめられた。

祭司エズラは七月の一日に律法を携えて来て、男女の会衆およびすべて聞いて悟ることのできる人々の前にあらわれ、

水の門の前にある広場で、あけぼのから正午まで、男女および悟ることのできる人々の前でこれを読んだ。民はみな律法の書に耳を傾けた。
8:4a
学者エズラはこの事のために、かねて設けた木の台の上に立った
8:5
エズラはすべての民の前にその書を開いた。彼はすべての民よりも高い所にいたからである。彼が書を開くと、すべての民は起立した。
8:6
エズラは大いなる神、主をほめ、民は皆その手をあげて、「アァメン、アァメン」と言って答え、こうべをたれ、地にひれ伏して主を拝した。
8:8
彼らはその書、すなわち神の律法をめいりょうに読み、その意味を解き明かしてその読むところを悟らせた。

総督であるネヘミヤと、祭司であり、学者であるエズラと、民を教えるレビびとたちはすべての民に向かって「この日はあなたがたの神、主の聖なる日です。嘆いたり、泣いたりしてはならない」と言った。すべての民が律法の言葉を聞いて泣いたからである。

そして彼らに言った、「あなたがたは去って、肥えたものを食べ、甘いものを飲みなさい。その備えのないものには分けてやりなさい。この日はわれわれの主の聖なる日です。憂えてはならない。主を喜ぶことはあなたがたの力です」。

からだが一つであっても肢体は多くあり、また、からだのすべての肢体が多くあっても、からだは一つであるように、キリストの場合も同様である。

なぜなら、わたしたちは皆、ユダヤ人もギリシヤ人も、奴隷も自由人も、一つの御霊によって、一つのからだとなるようにバプテスマを受け、そして皆一つの御霊を飲んだからである。
12:14
実際、からだは一つの肢体だけではなく、多くのものからできている。
12:15
もし足が、わたしは手ではないから、からだに属していないと言っても、それで、からだに属さないわけではない。
12:16
また、もし耳が、わたしは目ではないから、からだに属していないと言っても、それで、からだに属さないわけではない。
12:17
もしからだ全体が目だとすれば、どこで聞くのか。もし、からだ全体が耳だとすれば、どこでかぐのか。
12:18
そこで神は御旨のままに、肢体をそれぞれ、からだに備えられたのである。
12:19
もし、すべてのものが一つの肢体なら、どこにからだがあるのか。
12:20
ところが実際、肢体は多くあるが、からだは一つなのである。
12:21
目は手にむかって、「おまえはいらない」とは言えず、また頭は足にむかって、「おまえはいらない」とも言えない。
12:22
そうではなく、むしろ、からだのうちで他よりも弱く見える肢体が、かえって必要なのであり、
12:23
からだのうちで、他よりも見劣りがすると思えるところに、ものを着せていっそう見よくする。麗しくない部分はいっそう麗しくするが、
12:24
麗しい部分はそうする必要がない。神は劣っている部分をいっそう見よくして、からだに調和をお与えになったのである。
12:25
それは、からだの中に分裂がなく、それぞれの肢体が互にいたわり合うためなのである。
12:26
もし一つの肢体が悩めば、ほかの肢体もみな共に悩み、一つの肢体が尊ばれると、ほかの肢体もみな共に喜ぶ。
12:27
あなたがたはキリストのからだであり、ひとりびとりはその肢体である。
12:28
そして、神は教会の中で、人々を立てて、第一に使徒、第二に預言者、第三に教師とし、次に力あるわざを行う者、次にいやしの賜物を持つ者、また補助者、管理者、種々の異言を語る者をおかれた。

みんなが使徒だろうか。みんなが預言者だろうか。みんなが教師だろうか。みんなが力あるわざを行う者だろうか。

Gospel : Luke 1:1-4; 4:14-21
1:1 Since many have undertaken to set in order a narrative concerning those matters which have been fulfilled amongst us,
2 even as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word delivered them to us,
3 it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus;
4 that you might know the certainty concerning the things in which you were instructed.
4:14 Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.
15 He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

He has sent me to heal the broken hearted,
to proclaim release to the captives,

to deliver those who are crushed,

20 He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

3 He read from it before the wide place that was in front of the water gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women, and of those who could understand. The ears of all the people were attentive to the book of the law.
4a Ezra the scribe stood on a pulpit of wood,
5 Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people (for he was above all the people), and when he opened it, all the people stood up.
6 Then Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God.
All the people answered, “Amen, Amen,” with the lifting up of their hands. They bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
8 They read in the book, in the law of God, distinctly; and they gave the sense, so that they understood the reading.
9 Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people, said to all the people, “Today is holy to the LORD your God. Don’t mourn, nor weep.” For all the people wept when they heard the words of the law.
10 Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

15 If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body.
16 If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.
19 If they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now they are many members, but one body.
21 The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.”
22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
23 Those parts of the body which we think to be less honourable, on those we bestow more abundant honour; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety;
24 whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honour to the inferior part,
25 that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
26 When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
28 God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

1:1 Since many have undertaken to set in order a narrative concerning those matters which have been fulfilled amongst us,

4 that you might know the certainty concerning the things in which you were instructed.
4:14 Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.

（マルコによる福音 3:20-21）
今日読まれる短い福音の中で、イエスのところに来る二つの立場の人々がくっきりと対照的に描かれています。
それはイエスに救いを求め、一行に食事をする暇さえ与えないくらいに集まってくる群集と、「あの男は気が変になっている」と言ってイエスを取り押さえにきた身内の人たちです。
神の国を宣べ伝え、病気を癒すイエスのうわさが広まるにつけて、出身地、親族の間で彼は受け入れられていなかったことが窺えます。
もちろん私たちはイエスを変人と思うことはないですが、それでもこの群集のようにイエスを本当の救い主と信じ、その言葉を聴き、その力ある業を体験するために、イエスに出会うことを望んでいるでしょうか。
もしかしたら惰性的になんとなくイエスの言葉を聞き流してはいないでしょうか。
救いを求めて必死になってイエスに近づこうとする群衆の態度は私たちに信仰者のあるべき態度を教えてくれています。

20 The multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him: for they said, “He is insane.”

2 Samuel 1:1-4, 11-12, 19, 23-27
1 After the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had stayed two days in Ziklag;
2 on the third day, behold,* a man came out of the camp from Saul, with his clothes torn, and earth on his head. When he came to David, he fell to the earth, and showed respect.
3 David said to him, “Where do you come from?”
He said to him, “I have escaped out of the camp of Israel.”
4 David said to him, “How did it go? Please tell me.”
He answered, “The people have fled from the battle, and many of the people also have fallen and are dead. Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.”
11 Then David took hold on his clothes, and tore them; and all the men who were with him did likewise.
12 They mourned, wept, and fasted until evening, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they had fallen by the sword.
19 “Your glory, Israel, was slain on your high places!
How the mighty have fallen!
23 Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives.
In their death, they were not divided.
They were swifter than eagles.
They were stronger than lions.
24 You daughters of Israel, weep over Saul,
who clothed you delicately in scarlet,
who put ornaments of gold on your clothing.
25 How the mighty have fallen in the middle of the battle!
Jonathan was slain on your high places.
26 I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan.
You have been very pleasant to me.
Your love to me was wonderful,
passing the love of women.
27 How the mighty have fallen,
and the weapons of war have perished!”

さてイエスは山に登り、みこころにかなった者たちを呼び寄せられたので、彼らはみもとにきた。
そこで十二人をお立てになった。彼らを自分のそばに置くためであり、さらに宣教につかわし、
また悪霊を追い出す権威を持たせるためであった。
こうして、この十二人をお立てになった。そしてシモンにペテロという名をつけ、
またゼベダイの子ヤコブと、ヤコブの兄弟ヨハネ、彼らにはボアネルゲ、すなわち、雷の子という名をつけられた。
つぎにアンデレ、ピリポ、バルトロマイ、マタイ、トマス、アルパヨの子ヤコブ、タダイ、熱心党のシモン、
それからイスカリオテのユダ。このユダがイエスを裏切ったのである。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 3:13-19）
今日の福音ではイエスが弟子たちを選ぶ場面が描かれています。選ばれた12人は漁師であったり、徴税人であったり、「雷の子ら」と言われる兄弟であったりと、どうみても優れた存在だと思えません。
しかし、彼らはイエスが「これと思う人々」であったわけです。
私たち自身をふりかえってみましょう。
なぜ自分が信仰を得たのでしょうか？
考えてみると何か特別だからとか何かに優れているからとかいうわけでは勿論ありません。
それでは、なぜでしょうか？
イエスが私たち一人ひとりを「これと思う人」として呼んでくださったからに他なりません。
信仰は神からの恵みです。
今日もう一度そのことを思い起こし、感謝のうちにこの喜びに生きる一日にしたいものです。

またゼベダイの子ヤコブと、ヤコブの兄弟ヨハネ、彼らにはボアネルゲ、すなわち、雷の子という名をつけられた。
つぎにアンデレ、ピリポ、バルトロマイ、マタイ、トマス、アルパヨの子ヤコブ、タダイ、熱心党のシモン、
それからイスカリオテのユダ。このユダがイエスを裏切ったのである。

＜今日の『み言葉』＞
（マルコによる福音 3:13-19）
今日の福音ではイエスが弟子たちを選ぶ場面が描かれています。選ばれた12人は漁師であったり、徴税人であったり、「雷の子ら」と言われる兄弟であったりと、どうみても優れた存在だと思えません。
しかし、彼らはイエスが「これと思う人々」であったわけです。
私たち自身をふりかえってみましょう。
なぜ自分が信仰を得たのでしょうか？
考えてみると何か特別だからとか何かに優れているからとかいうわけでは勿論ありません。
それでは、なぜでしょうか？
イエスが私たち一人ひとりを「これと思う人」として呼んでくださったからに他なりません。
信仰は神からの恵みです。
今日もう一度そのことを思い起こし、感謝のうちにこの喜びに生きる一日にしたいものです。
