＜今日の聖書物語 *＞
（マタイによる福音 18:1-5, 10, 12-14）
そのとき、弟子たちがイエスのもとにきて言った、「いったい、天国ではだれがいちばん偉いのですか」。
すると、イエスは幼な子を呼び寄せ、彼らのまん中に立たせて言われた、
「よく聞きなさい。心をいれかえて幼な子のようにならなければ、天国にはいることはできないであろう。
この幼な子のように自分を低くする者が、天国でいちばん偉いのである。
また、だれでも、このようなひとりの幼な子を、わたしの名のゆえに受けいれる者は、わたしを受けいれるのである。
あなたがたは、これらの小さい者のひとりをも軽んじないように、気をつけなさい。あなたがたに言うが、彼らの御使たちは天にあって、天にいますわたしの父のみ顔をいつも仰いでいるのである。
あなたがたはどう思うか。ある人に百匹の羊があり、その中の一匹が迷い出たとすれば、九十九匹を山に残しておいて、その迷い出ている羊を捜しに出かけないであろうか。
もしそれを見つけたなら、よく聞きなさい、迷わないでいる九十九匹のためよりも、むしろその一匹のために喜ぶであろう。
そのように、これらの小さい者のひとりが滅びることは、天にいますあなたがたの父のみこころではない。

今日の福音には。「一人の子供」と「迷い出た羊」に焦点があてられています。
この二つに共通していることは、そのものとして、力のない存在であるということです。
ものの数として認められていない、価値がないと見なされやすいものです。
軽んじられやすいものにイエスはわたしたちの心を向けさせます。
世話をされるべき「子供」、導かれるべき「迷いでた羊」のような者は、わたしたちの周りにはこと欠きません。
わたし自身も、ときに迷い、多くのかたの世話を受けていることを自覚しています。
あらためて、このみ言葉を噛みしめてみたいとおもいます。

人の子よ、わたしがあなたに語るところを聞きなさい。反逆の家のようにそむいてはならない。あなたの口を開いて、わたしが与えるものを食べなさい」。
2:9
この時わたしが見ると、見よ、わたしの方に伸べた手があった。また見よ、手の中に巻物があった。
2:10
彼がわたしの前にこれを開くと、その表にも裏にも文字が書いてあった。その書かれていることは悲しみと、嘆きと、災の言葉であった。
3:1
彼はわたしに言われた。「人の子よ、あなたに与えられたものを食べなさい。この巻物を食べ、行ってイスラエルの家に語りなさい」。
3:2
そこでわたしが口を開くと、彼はわたしにその巻物を食べさせた。
3:3
そして彼はわたしに言われた、「人の子よ、わたしがあなたに与えるこの巻物を食べ、これであなたの腹を満たしなさい」。わたしがそれを食べると、それはわたしの口に甘いこと蜜のようであった。
3:4

Gospel : Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14
1 In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
2 Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them,
3 and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
4 Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
5 Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,
10 See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
12 “What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
13 If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

9 When I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was therein;

3:1 He said to me, Son of man, eat that which you find. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.
2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll.
3 He said to me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this scroll that I give you. Then I ate it; and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.
4 He said to me, Son of man, go to the house of Israel, and speak my words to them.
