＜今日の聖書物語 *＞
（ルカによる福音 7:31-35）
だから今の時代の人々を何に比べようか。彼らは何に似ているか。
それは子供たちが広場にすわって、互に呼びかけ、
『わたしたちが笛を吹いたのに、
あなたたちは踊ってくれなかった。
弔いの歌を歌ったのに、
泣いてくれなかった』
と言うのに似ている。
なぜなら、バプテスマのヨハネがきて、パンを食べることも、ぶどう酒を飲むこともしないと、あなたがたは、あれは悪霊につかれているのだ、と言い、
また人の子がきて食べたり飲んだりしていると、見よ、あれは食をむさぼる者、大酒を飲む者、また取税人、罪人の仲間だ、と言う。
しかし、知恵の正しいことは、そのすべての子が証明する」。

み言葉について
（ルカによる福音 7:31-35）
砂場に集まった子供たちは遊んでいますが、隣の子といっしょの作業をしていません。共同の遊びや仕事ができるためには、高度の知的な働きが必要で、互いの知識を寄せ集めて、創意工夫していくことがもとめられます。
このようにして知恵が生まれるのです。
神のお望みになることを果たそうと考えて、知識を寄せ集めるとき、それは正しい知恵になりますが、ファリサイ派の人々のように、あげあし取りに夢中になっていると、悪知恵になってしまいます。
わたしたちの知識が本当の知恵になるように日頃から注意していましょう。

万一わたしが遅れる場合には、神の家でいかに生活すべきかを、あなたに知ってもらいたいからである。神の家というのは、生ける神の教会のことであって、それは真理の柱、真理の基礎なのである。
3:16
確かに偉大なのは、この信心の奥義である、
「キリストは肉において現れ、
霊において義とせられ、
御使たちに見られ、
諸国民の間に伝えられ、
世界の中で信じられ、
栄光のうちに天に上げられた」。

31 “To what then should I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?
32 They are like children who sit in the marketplace and call to one another, saying, ‘We piped to you, and you didn’t dance. We mourned, and you didn’t weep.’
33 For John the Baptizer came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’
34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’
35 Wisdom is justified by all her children.”

1 Timothy 3:14-16
14 These things I write to you, hoping to come to you shortly,
15 but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in God’s house, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great:
God was revealed in the flesh,
justified in the spirit,
seen by angels,
preached among the nations,
believed on in the world,
and received up in glory.
