（ヨハネによる福音 1:35-42）
その翌日、ヨハネはまたふたりの弟子たちと一緒に立っていたが、
イエスが歩いておられるのに目をとめて言った、「見よ、神の小羊」。
そのふたりの弟子は、ヨハネがそう言うのを聞いて、イエスについて行った。
イエスはふり向き、彼らがついてくるのを見て言われた、「何か願いがあるのか」。彼らは言った、「ラビ（訳して言えば、先生）どこにおとまりなのですか」。
イエスは彼らに言われた、「きてごらんなさい。そうしたらわかるだろう」。そこで彼らはついて行って、イエスの泊まっておられる所を見た。そして、その日はイエスのところに泊まった。時は午後四時ごろであった。
ヨハネから聞いて、イエスについて行ったふたりのうちのひとりは、シモン・ペテロの兄弟アンデレであった。
彼はまず自分の兄弟シモンに出会って言った、「わたしたちはメシヤ（訳せば、キリスト）にいま出会った」。
そしてシモンをイエスのもとにつれてきた。イエスは彼に目をとめて言われた、「あなたはヨハネの子シモンである。あなたをケパ（訳せば、ペテロ）と呼ぶことにする」。

サムエルが神の箱のある主の神殿に寝ていた時、
3:4
主は「サムエルよ、サムエルよ」と呼ばれた。彼は「はい、ここにおります」と言って、
3:5
エリの所へ走っていって言った、「あなたがお呼びになりました。わたしは、ここにおります」。しかしエリは言った、「わたしは呼ばない。帰って寝なさい」。彼は行って寝た。
3:6
主はまたかさねて「サムエルよ、サムエルよ」と呼ばれた。サムエルは起きてエリのもとへ行って言った、「あなたがお呼びになりました。わたしは、ここにおります」。エリは言った、「子よ、わたしは呼ばない。もう一度寝なさい」。
3:7
サムエルはまだ主を知らず、主の言葉がまだ彼に現されなかった。
3:8
主はまた三度目にサムエルを呼ばれたので、サムエルは起きてエリのもとへ行って言った、「あなたがお呼びになりました。わたしは、ここにおります」。その時、エリは主がわらべを呼ばれたのであることを悟った。
3:9
そしてエリはサムエルに言った、「行って寝なさい。もしあなたを呼ばれたら、『しもべは聞きます。主よ、お話しください』と言いなさい」。サムエルは行って自分の所で寝た。
3:10
主はきて立ち、前のように、「サムエルよ、サムエルよ」と呼ばれたので、サムエルは言った、「しもべは聞きます。お話しください」。
3:11
その時、主はサムエルに言われた、「見よ、わたしはイスラエルのうちに一つの事をする。それを聞く者はみな、耳が二つとも鳴るであろう。
3:12
その日には、わたしが、かつてエリの家について話したことを、はじめから終りまでことごとく、エリに行うであろう。
3:13
わたしはエリに、彼が知っている悪事のゆえに、その家を永久に罰することを告げる。その子らが神をけがしているのに、彼がそれをとめなかったからである。
3:14
それゆえ、わたしはエリの家に誓う。エリの家の悪は、犠牲や供え物をもってしても、永久にあがなわれないであろう」。
3:15
サムエルは朝まで寝て、主の宮の戸をあけたが、サムエルはその幻のことをエリに語るのを恐れた。
3:16
しかしエリはサムエルを呼んで言った、「わが子サムエルよ」。サムエルは言った、「はい、ここにおります」。
3:17
エリは言った、「何事をお告げになったのか。隠さず話してください。もしお告げになったことを一つでも隠して、わたしに言わないならば、どうぞ神があなたを罰し、さらに重く罰せられるように」。
3:18
そこでサムエルは、その事をことごとく話して、何も彼に隠さなかった。エリは言った、「それは主である。どうぞ主が、良いと思うことを行われるように」。

サムエルは育っていった。主が彼と共におられて、その言葉を一つも地に落ちないようにされたので、

不品行を避けなさい。人の犯すすべての罪は、からだの外にある。しかし不品行をする者は、自分のからだに対して罪を犯すのである。

あなたがたは知らないのか。自分のからだは、神から受けて自分の内に宿っている聖霊の宮であって、あなたがたは、もはや自分自身のものではないのである。

あなたがたは、代価を払って買いとられたのだ。それだから、自分のからだをもって、神の栄光をあらわしなさい。

Gospel : John 1:35-42
35 Again, the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples,
36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
37 The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
38 Jesus turned and saw them following, and said to them, “What are you looking for?”
They said to him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), “where are you staying?”
39 He said to them, “Come and see.”
They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about the tenth hour.
40 One of the two who heard John and followed him was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
41 He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah!” (which is, being interpreted, Christ).
42 He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is by interpretation, Peter).

1 Samuel 3:3b-10,19
3b Samuel had laid down in Yahweh’s temple where God’s ark was,
4 Yahweh called Samuel. He said, “Here I am.”
5 He ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.”
He said, “I didn’t call. Lie down again.”
He went and lay down.
6 Yahweh called yet again, “Samuel!”
Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.”
He answered, “I didn’t call, my son. Lie down again.”
7 Now Samuel didn’t yet know Yahweh, neither was Yahweh’s word yet revealed to him.
8 Yahweh called Samuel again the third time. He arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; for you called me.”
Eli perceived that Yahweh had called the child.
9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down. It shall be, if he calls you, that you shall say, ‘Speak, Yahweh; for your servant hears.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 Yahweh came, and stood, and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Then Samuel said, “Speak; for your servant hears.”
19 Samuel grew, and Yahweh was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.

13c The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
14 Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.
15a Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ?
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
19 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
20 for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
