＜今日の聖書物語 *＞
（マルコによる福音 2:23-28）
ある安息日に、イエスは麦畑の中をとおって行かれた。そのとき弟子たちが、歩きながら穂をつみはじめた。
すると、パリサイ人たちがイエスに言った、「いったい、彼らはなぜ、安息日にしてはならぬことをするのですか」。
そこで彼らに言われた、「あなたがたは、ダビデとその供の者たちとが食物がなくて飢えたとき、ダビデが何をしたか、まだ読んだことがないのか。
すなわち、大祭司アビアタルの時、神の家にはいって、祭司たちのほか食べてはならぬ供えのパンを、自分も食べ、また供の者たちにも与えたではないか」。
また彼らに言われた、「安息日は人のためにあるもので、人が安息日のためにあるのではない。
それだから、人の子は、安息日にもまた主なのである」。

安息日に守らなければならない規則がたくさんあります。
なぜでしょう。
今日、わたしたちは主イエスが語る言葉に耳を傾けています。
安息日は、人のために定められた。
「人が安息日のためにあるのではない」と。いつだったか「正しいことも愛をもって行いなさい」という言葉が心に響きました。
正しいことを規則通りに、決まっていることとして行うだけでなく、愛をもって・・・というのが大切でしょう。
わたしたちは主イエスの言葉に耳を傾けます。
安息日の主でありますから。

（サムエル記上 16:1-13）
16:1
さて主はサムエルに言われた、「わたしがすでにサウルを捨てて、イスラエルの王位から退けたのに、あなたはいつまで彼のために悲しむのか。角に油を満たし、それをもって行きなさい。あなたをベツレヘムびとエッサイのもとにつかわします。わたしはその子たちのうちにひとりの王を捜し得たからである」。
16:2
サムエルは言った、「どうしてわたしは行くことができましょう。サウルがそれを聞けば、わたしを殺すでしょう」。主は言われた、「一頭の子牛を引いていって、『主に犠牲をささげるためにきました』と言いなさい。
16:3
そしてエッサイを犠牲の場所に呼びなさい。その時わたしはあなたのすることを示します。わたしがあなたに告げる人に油を注がなければならない」。
16:4
サムエルは主が命じられたようにして、ベツレヘムへ行った。町の長老たちは、恐れながら出て、彼を迎え、「穏やかな事のためにこられたのですか」と言った。
16:5
サムエルは言った、「穏やかな事のためです。わたしは主に犠牲をささげるためにきました。身をきよめて、犠牲の場所にわたしと共にきてください」。そしてサムエルはエッサイとその子たちをきよめて犠牲の場に招いた。
16:6
彼らがきた時、サムエルはエリアブを見て、「自分の前にいるこの人こそ、主が油をそそがれる人だ」と思った。
16:7
しかし主はサムエルに言われた、「顔かたちや身のたけを見てはならない。わたしはすでにその人を捨てた。わたしが見るところは人とは異なる。人は外の顔かたちを見、主は心を見る」。
16:8
そこでエッサイはアビナダブを呼んでサムエルの前を通らせた。サムエルは言った、「主が選ばれたのはこの人でもない」。
16:9
エッサイはシャンマを通らせたが、サムエルは言った、「主が選ばれたのはこの人でもない」。
16:10
エッサイは七人の子にサムエルの前を通らせたが、サムエルはエッサイに言った、「主が選ばれたのはこの人たちではない」。
16:11
サムエルはエッサイに言った、「あなたのむすこたちは皆ここにいますか」。彼は言った、「まだ末の子が残っていますが羊を飼っています」。サムエルはエッサイに言った、「人をやって彼を連れてきなさい。彼がここに来るまで、われわれは食卓につきません」。
16:12
そこで人をやって彼をつれてきた。彼は血色のよい、目のきれいな、姿の美しい人であった。主は言われた、「立ってこれに油をそそげ。これがその人である」。
16:13
サムエルは油の角をとって、その兄弟たちの中で、彼に油をそそいだ。この日からのち、主の霊は、はげしくダビデの上に臨んだ。そしてサムエルは立ってラマへ行った。

Gospel : Mark 2:23-28
23 He was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
24 The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”
25 He said to them, “Did you never read what David did when he had need and was hungry?he, and those who were with him?
26 How he entered into God’s house at the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”
27 He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
28 Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”

1 Samuel 16:1-13
1 Yahweh said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go. I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have provided a king for myself among his sons.”
2 Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.”
Yahweh said, “Take a heifer with you, and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh.’
3 Call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do. You shall anoint to me him whom I name to you.”
4 Samuel did that which Yahweh spoke, and came to Bethlehem. The elders of the city came to meet him trembling, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”
5 He said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to Yahweh. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” He sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
6 When they had come, he looked at Eliab, and said, “Surely Yahweh’s anointed is before him.”
7 But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”
8 Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. He said, “Yahweh has not chosen this one, either.”
9 Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. He said, “Yahweh has not chosen this one, either.”
10 Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. Samuel said to Jesse, “Yahweh has not chosen these.”
11 Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all your children here?”
He said, “There remains yet the youngest. Behold, he is keeping the sheep.”
Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and get him, for we will not sit down until he comes here.”
12 He sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with a handsome face and good appearance. Yahweh said, “Arise! Anoint him, for this is he.”
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the middle of his brothers. Then Yahweh’s Spirit came mightily on David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.
