（マルコによる福音 10:13-16
イエスにさわっていただくために、人々が幼な子らをみもとに連れてきた。ところが、弟子たちは彼らをたしなめた。
それを見てイエスは憤り、彼らに言われた、「幼な子らをわたしの所に来るままにしておきなさい。止めてはならない。神の国はこのような者の国である。
よく聞いておくがよい。だれでも幼な子のように神の国を受けいれる者でなければ、そこにはいることは決してできない」。
そして彼らを抱き、手をその上において祝福された。

私たちはだれでも赤ちゃんの様子はよく判っていますね。
ママがいなければ泣き、眠ければ泣き、お腹が空けば泣き、何か欲しいとか、してほしいとか言ってはまた泣きます。
しかし物心がつくようになってくると、これは何？ どうして？ なぜ？ なんのため？ などと尋ねて色々と覚えていきます。
その頃のこどもたちは、親や大人の答えに対して、本当に素直に受け止めていくのです。
大人たちは大概疑ってみたり、損得で計って考えます。
［こどものように］とのイエス様のお言葉は、神様のお言葉を素直な心で受け入れ、それに従って生きていくことを指しているのです。

17章 01節
主は、人間を土から造り 再び、土に帰された。
17章 02節
主は、彼らに一定の日数と時を与え 彼らに地上のものを治める権限を与えられた。
17章 03節
主は、ご自分と同じような力を、彼らに帯びさせ ご自分の姿に似せて、彼らを造られた。
17章 04節
主は、肉なるものすべてに 人間への恐れを植え付け 人間に獣と空を飛ぶものを支配させられた。
17章 05節
〔彼らは、主の五つの能力を使うことを 許されたが 主は、さらに、六番目として、知性を分け与え／七番目として、それらの能力を解釈する理性を 分け与えられた。〕
17章 06節
主は彼らに、判断力と舌、目、耳 考える心を分け与えられた。
17章 07節
主は、彼らを分別に至る知識で満たし 善と悪とを彼らに示された。
17章 08節
主は、彼らの心に、ご自分への畏れを植え付け その御業の偉大さを、彼らに示された。 〔また、その奇しき御業を永久に誇ることを 彼らにお許しになった。〕

主の御業の偉大さを語るために
17章 10節
彼らは、聖なる御名をほめたたえる。
17章 11節
主は、彼らに知識を授け 命の律法を、受け継ぐべき遺産として授けられた。 〔彼らが、今は死すべき者であることを 悟るために。〕
17章 12節
主は、彼らと永遠の契約を結び ご自分の裁きを、彼らに示された。
17章 13節
彼らの目は、主の大いなる栄光を見 彼らの耳は、主の威厳に満ちた御声を聞いた。
17章 14節
主は、彼らに 「あらゆる不義を警戒せよ」と言って 隣人について、彼ら一人一人に戒めを授けられた。
17章 15節
人の道は、常に主の前にあり 主の目から隠れることはない。

Gospel : Mark 10:13-16
13 They were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
15 Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
16 He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

Sirach 17:1-15 +
1
The Lord created human beings from the earth,
and makes them return to earth again.
2
A limited number of days he gave them,
but granted them authority over everything on earth.
3
He endowed them with strength like his own,
and made them in his image.
4-5
He put fear of them in all flesh,
and gave them dominion over beasts and birds.
6
Discernment, tongues, and eyes,
ears, and a mind for thinking he gave them.
7
With knowledge and understanding he filled them;
good and evil he showed them.
8
He put fear of him into their hearts
to show them the grandeur of his works,
9
That they might describe the wonders of his deeds
10
and praise his holy name.
11
He set before them knowledge,
and allotted to them the law of life.
12
An everlasting covenant he made with them,
and his commandments* he revealed to them.
13
His majestic glory their eyes beheld,
his glorious voice their ears heard.
14
He said to them, “Avoid all evil”;
to each of them he gave precepts about their neighbor.
15
Their ways are ever known to him,
they cannot be hidden from his eyes.
